Hotel was very convenient as it was located right next to the metro. The room was very clean. My only two complaints were that the mini fridge had things for you to buy and so you could not go out and buy your own drinks and keep them cool. Drinks in this fridge were 4-6 euros. Villathena 2 was a great hotel that was perfect for our short stay in Paris. It is located on the top floor of a typical Parisian apartment building. The concierge/reception desk is only open from morning till early afternoon. More like a small apartment than a hotel room, Villathena 2 lives up to other reviews here. On the seventh floor of a private apartment house, it is in a very quiet neighborhood. There's a wonderful bakery two blocks away (just follow the aroma) and a small grocery and a brasserie serving wonderful coffee almost right across the street. It was very […] comfortable for myself, my wife and daughter. Villathena 2 doesn't have a full time staff or concierge, but there is a representative during the day (who was very helpful) and keypad security at night. I hear several of the rooms have a view of the Eiffel Tower, but we didn't have one of those. The Seine is a short walk away and there is a Metro entrance (with a ticket agent, who helped us a lot) literally right outside the door. The rooms were very clean and the bathroom spacious, maid service was efficient and the towels fluffy and changed every day. There are safes in the room and two 32-inch flat screens showing French programming. A small refrigerator in the room holds beverages for sale, but we were able to store our drinks from the grocery to keep them cold. There is a courtesy tray with instant coffee, tea, crackers and jam for no charge - we used the jam every morning for our fresh croissants from the bakery. The only negative things we noticed were a leaky shower enclosure (it is a bathtub/shower equipped with a swing-out glass half-door to contain splash which didn't work as well as it should have) and some small mildew stains at the base of the tub, which very likely was due to the less-than-efficient splash guard. We were overall very satisfied with Villathena 2 and would recommend it highly. My wife describes it as "delightful," and I feel that it was an excellent value given the price of hotels in Paris. It was a little out of the way via the Metro, but in a nice enough neighborhood. The staff were very nice and helpful and the room was great. Very clean and comfortable. The view out the window was wonderful - to one side a church tower, the other side the Eiffel Tower. Free WiFi and coffee also!

This is a perfect and simply hotel with a metro station on the doorstep or a 20 minute walk to the Eiffel Tower. There are a few good restaurants on the area if you want to a quieter meal. Also you will be staying on the side of Paris which is closest to a visit to Versailles. Perfectly priced.

I felt very pleased to stay in this hotel. The room was very well furnished, clean and comfortable, with a big TV and Blue Ray player. It's near to the metro stop and you can easily reach the Tour Eiffel walking along the river: it takes about 30 minutes to get to it. A disappointment, our last stop for our 12 day tour ends with a disappointing hotel. There are lots of reasons why you shouldn't get this hotel. 1) The rooms have different odd smells, we got 3 rooms here, Room 702 smelled liked a bar, Room 704 smelled like someone vomited on the carpet, Room 703 has this weird moldy smell that later we found out that […] the smell came from something floating in the toilet bowl, which brings me to 2) Plumbing problems!!! Room 701 Toilet and sink drain were clogged so as room 710. So whatever you put on the toilet will sure to float back up. Room 702 toilet seat was about to fall off and lastly 3) No hot water! It's like six degrees celsius outside and the hot water for some reason stops functioning while your taking a bath in the morning. Room 702 has that problem, they transfer us to room 705 which had the same problem. The only good thing about this hotel is they manage to address your problem when you call them after experiencing it. However imagine the hassle of changing rooms every night (3 nights) because they can't solve what's wrong with your room. We've tried almost all rooms here 701,702,703,705,710. Forget the location since its really far from the center but what I want to point out is this hotel or b&b needs an improvement badly. Sorry but I would not recommend this hotel, This serves as a lesson for myself. I'd rather pay a little more for a good hotel in the city, As the saying goes, you pay for peanuts you get peanuts. Villathena 2 is located right on top of Mirabeau station. Exit to the right up the steps and it's located right in front of you. The keypad facing outwards the street has a small label - the only thing that identifies the hotel. We had trouble buzzing the reception for the code since it was after hours where the call was transferred to Villathena and […] with the traffic noise outside it was difficult to make out the keypad code that the receptionist was giving us. After ten minutes we managed to access the building. A 2 person lift took us to the 7th floor. Upon opening the lift door we were presented with a rack with complimentary maps of Paris and envelopes for guests staying there - inside of which were the key cards for the room, along with some information such as wifi acess codes, etc. The room was clean and tidy, with a flatscreen Samsung TV and Bluray player mounted opposite the bed on the wall. Just don't expect any of the channels to be in English!. The only slightly annoying thing in the room was the noise of the waste water pump that activated every 10 seconds when running the tap/ shower. Other than that I can't fault the room at all - the reception during the day was courteous as was the chambermaid. The surrounding area is relatively quiet but pleasant enough with a Carrefour supermarket just round the corner for convenience. From Gare du Nord you need the M4 to Odeon then change to M10 - it's about a 50 minute journey time. I would stay again. Read more

This was a well situated hotel, just a very short walk from the Seine and a only 6 steps from a metro! It took about 20 minutes to walk to the Eiffel Tower along the river. The metro line that it just outside intersects with the train line to Charles de Gaulle airport so it is really easy to get there. We had room only but there was a fridge, tea and coffee making facilities and we were left melba toast and jams for breakfast. There was also a small convenience store a couple of doors down to supplement this, although it wasn't open in the mornings. It is not clear from any information given online that this is actually a floor of rooms at the top of an apartment block. Although the hotel is advertised as having a restaurant this is untrue - there is an arrangement where guests can have breakfast at a cafe on the next block to the hotel at an extra cost. Tea and coffee making facilities are in […] the room as well as 'toasts' with jam and honey all free of charge. The 'Reception' is a recess in the wall which is open until 5pm only. Guests arriving after this time have no access to the hotel as the door at the ground floor level is accessed via a coded keypad and the code is available only on arrival at the 7th floor. The rooms are very clean and quite well appointed, though sadly no English speaking channels on the TV. Staff that we did come into contact with were very pleasant and friendly. These are reasonably priced rooms which are clean and quite well appointed but poor access and lack of usual hotel features such as a restuarant and bar make it better suited to tourists looking for apartments rather than a hotel. フランスのホテルでは珍しくスタッフの対応が良く。何よりも設備が充実していたのがよかった。装飾は少ないが機能的な設備であり、駅近（メトロを出て50歩以内）であることから、仕事で滞在するならばベストに近い。 悪い点を挙げるとすると、ホテルの場所が分かりにくいこと、日曜日にスタッフがいないこと（電話には出る）、排水時の音がうるさいことくらいです。

地下鉄ミラボー駅降りてすぐ。タクシースタンドもすぐそばにあり、RER CのJavel駅も徒歩圏内で、アクセスは良好です。 しかし、外からはわかりにくいので、入り口は迷うかも。普通の建物（集合住宅？）のワンフロアをホテルにしているので、それを知っていないと戸惑うかもしれません（私は最初わかりませんでした…）。 フロントに人がいる時間も限られているので、その点は欠点ですが、部屋はパリのこの値段のホテルにしては広く、なかなかきれいでした。

Hôtel bien situé au 7ème étage, chambres relativement petites mais bien aménagées, de la fenêtre on peut voir la tour Eiffel. Contrairement à ce que d'autres commentaires disaient, on n'entend pas du tout le bruit du métro, alors même qu'une des entrées se trouve au pied de l'immeuble. Côté propreté, nickel hormis 2 ou 3 poils cheveux/poils retrouvés […] sur le drap. La femme à l'accueil n'est pas hyper aimable, mais ce n'est pas ce qu'on lui demande non plus. Ceci n'est pas un hotel, comme vendu sur le site mais des chambres meublées. Vous n'avez pas de salle de petit dejeuné, ni d'accueil en cas d'arrivée tardive. Nous avons été extrement surpris de devoir nous débrouiller tout seul pour rentrer dans l'immeuble, trouver notre clef mis à disposition sur le palier, et acceder à notre chambre.
