Great location for visiting the numerous sites and attractions of Liverpool / Merseyside whilst being on the outskirts of the city itself. Fabulous building which is immaculately maintained being the old LiverpoolAirport. Staff very pleasant. Only complaint is that you have to pay for Internet service so we found ourselves walking over to Macdonalds on the retail park opposite where it is FREE! If you plan to spend most of your trip in Livedpool City Centre be aware that you would need some transport. Luckily taxis and public transport are readily available.

We really enjoyed our stay at the Stone Villa in Chester The manager made us feel very welcome and gave us the information we needed to get around Chester. The breakfast provided was a Great way to start the day. It was our first B&B and my wife and I and our teenage girls enjoyed it there.

The room was small but OK. Floorboards squeaked, which was rather annoying. Great location- near station and an easy walk to center of town. Good value.

Basic hotel rooms, modern, bright and airy. Very good value for money. Friendly staff. Have stayed several times and will use it again. Only comment is that if you want to rise late in the day (or want to sleep due to jetlag, as we did on our first day) it is too noisy as you can hear the non-stop banging of doors, vacuuming etc., from around 8am through to the afternoon.

"Friendly and helpful at the Throstles Nest Hotel"
Very friendly welcome and helpful giving good information about the City and where to visit.
A great little hotel, good location, bus stop very close and only a short ride to the station/city centre. The staff were very friendly and helpful, breakfast was excellent, lots of choice. Would recommend.
Restaurant only does breakfasts, no secure parking unless you pay at petrol station next door. Tap in bathroom only ran warm. Hotel acceptable but not great, bit untidy at the edges, but served its purpose for one night. Staff were friendly and helpful and breakfast was very good.

Very old building that looks run down from the outside. Parking at local petrol station - not ideal. Room was clean and it is reasonably close to the city centre and Everton Park. Overall I wouldn't go back.

"Centrum stad goed bereikbaar met de bus"
De bedden op onze kamer zijn niet echt je van het. Het personeel is echter zeer behulpzaam en vriendelijk en de kamer was erg netjes. Aan de straat is niet veel te doen maar er rijden veel bussen in no time van en naar het centrum.

大学卒業前の一人旅での利用です。 私はリバプール vs Man.Uの観戦がリバプール行の目的でしたので、駅、アンフィールドまで共に徒歩15分程であるこのホテルの場所は良かったです。 サッカーの試合後はバスや鉄道が混乱します。また治安的な問題も考え徒歩は非常に便利です。 ただ、目の前の道路は幹線道路で、駅から見て左側にしか歩道はありませんので注意が必要です。私は最初右側を歩いてしまい非常に危険でした。 また、朝食はフルイングリッシュブレックファストで、おかわりもでき、紅茶の種類も豊富であるなど私の宿泊した４つのホテルの中でベストでした。 サッカー以外の目的の方は駅から徒歩15分が我慢できるのならばお勧めできます。 ビートルズ関連とも駅から逆方向です。
