The 2 bedroom unit was beautiful, plenty of room and very clean. We were approached a couple times about buying into time share deal which was slightly annoying. My husband and 3 children ages 5, 3, and 3 just spent a wonderful weekend at wilderness. We have been before but this is the first time we stayed at the Wyndham condos. This is a must! Everything about our stay at the Wyndham was exceptional. We had a super speedy check in, the room was immaculate and looked brand new. The beds and pillows were super comfortable. This is a very nice property. I stayed in the units by the golf course. My complaint is around the check in 4:00 and check out 10 am. I arrived at 3:30 and went to the front desk to let them know I was there. I knew the check in time was at 4:00 but wanted to make sure they knew I was there early so they could have my unit ready at check in time. I […] did not ask to check in early. I was told they would call me when the unit was ready. I waited until 4:20 and with no phone call I went to the front desk, I was told unit was not ready it would be a little while, when I pushed for a specific time was told maybe 30 more minutes. I explained that would be unacceptable that I had food in my car and with the temps at 107 it would spoil. I was told the desk could not help me only a manager. I asked for the manager. The desk clerk left and came back with no manager told another clerk the manager was not coming just to give me a room that was ready. Read more

Another reviewer called this place "Vegas for Kids" and I believe it. LOTS of stuff for kids to do. I won't repeat what others have stated about the attractions, I will just say that our boys really enjoyed themselves. We stayed in a HUGE (I'm guessing roughly 1000 sq. ft) two bedroom suite. It has everything you need; washer/dryer, iron, a kitchen […] fully stocked with pots, pans, glasses, plates, silverware, stove, dishwasher, full refrigerator - no food, etc... Even a dining room and island bar, we were quite impressed! I'd give this 5 stars if it wasn't for the VERY HARD beds and a huge booking problem. We have a 2 y/o son that is a very light sleeper. We called the night before to verify that we weren't near any elevators or busy hallways. The receptionist assured us that we had a quiet location and told us the bldg number & location of our room. Upon arrival we were told our bldg & room number (not the same one we verified the night before). I explained the situation and asked why we were moved...the receptionist had no answer but assured us that we had a quiet room - YEAH RIGHT! Our room was directly above the entrance to the building! The surprises continued when we realized our room was RIGHT NEXT TO THE ELEVATOR! Noises from both sides all night! We had a lovely view of the carport awning as well. Not happy!! Spoke with the receptionist at check out and emailed them - no response yet. Also the "welcome package" they offer is a time share sales pitch. Read more

Check in was very slow!!! We arrived at 2:00 and did not get into our room until nearly 6:00. We had young children and the staff bent over backwards to accomodate our request to stay in the connected (to the waterpark) building; very important in winter. Everything was great except a few mostly little things. Deli staff is very slow and all four workers […] seemed to be waiting on one customer when there were many of us in line to be helped. Worst situation was the noise. Between 8:00 and 2:00 A.M. on our last night, the guests above us yelled, stomped, and truly were so loud our ceiling fan moved and our dishes rattled. After 4 calls to security it finally improved around 2:15 A.M. The staff seemed sympathetic but did little to improve the situation. The facility is very nice. We had everything we needed and plenty of room for 4 adults and 2 children. The decor is tasteful and feels homey. I would stay again. Read more

We stayed at the Wyndham resort and had such a wonderful time that we cannot wait to return. The water park was enough to keep our family busy all day. all enjoyed it from the youngest, 7, to the oldest, 54. The people at the Wyndham could not have been more hospitable.

Room was not ready during check in and service was horrible. You have to walk a long way to the indoor water park. The unit is comfortaable but resort staff service is the worst. I was sitting waiting to check in and all I heard was complaints from other guest.

The rooms are beautiful! Clean, great furnishings, comfortable. Fabulous water park that is a lot of fun. The only negative thing was it was pretty cold in the hallways and in the water park. I was shivering like the whole time. You may want to bring a robe, because it is a long, cold walk back to the room.
