I was very impressed with my room. It was a single on the top floor, but extremely comfortable, extremely clean, and quite roomy actually. I had everything I could have wanted or needed, and my only wish was that I had planned for another night or two in Bath. The breakfast was just as good. I would recommend Oldfields to anyone visiting Bath. My only suggestion is that anyone coming from the train station with luggage, might want to take a cab, because the walk to Oldfields is uphill, though not too far.

The staff were friendly and helpful and the service was good. The hotel is in a pleasant rural location, in the Cotswolds, with the historical city of Bath only 30 minutes away. Bourton -on-the-Water is also close by and worth a visit.
