The hotel was centerally located, Very clean. Staff is Wonderful, Good nights sleep..Service with a smile, food was good and there was 24 hr room service. This s my place to stay anything I make a visit to the Swindon area...Would highly recommend....

The shower suddenly went cold, then off. Could not get it to run again and had to rinse off with handfuls of water from the tub spout. Hotel staff moved me to a suite where the shower did work.

If you like historic and interesting, this B&B will be right up your lane. Big Victorian-era reproduction clawfoot bathtubs, short doorways befitting the average height of people 400 years ago, unique furnishings, and very cordial hosts make this place different and pleasant. And there is a nearby pub that is very good.

A nice quaint hotel in very good location that needs refreshing. Friendly polite staff but the rooms and décor in need of fresh paints and wallpaper e.g. bathroom flooring secured to the bath with packing tape!

Very pleasant, staff very helpful, evening meals very good, excellent choice for Breakfast. The rooms were clean and tidy, but in need of a face lift, looking a little tired. If your looking for that country weekend get away, then the Doghouse is the ideal place. My wife and I will be visiting again in the very near future. Thank you.

Breakfast - I had a kipper very nice. My husband wanted scrambled eggs and toast. He found bits of smoked salmon in his eggs. Thankfully he is not alergic to fish but if he had been!!!! I think it would be helpful if the chef was made aware of this. We did tell our charming waiter.

This hotel is a little way out of Oxford, so you really need a car to stay here, but it is good value for money. Breakfast was very good, rooms were clean and comfortable, free wifi was available in the pub / restaurant section of the hotel and there was plenty of parking. Beschikten over 3-persoonskamer met grote badkamer (enige nadeel: het onvermijdelijke douchegordijn in het bad). Voor het overige zonder meer voor herhaling vatbaar. Schoonmaak elke dag.
