Needs a bit of a spruce up but for a town centre hotel with parking (rare in Cambridge) can't beat it. Wouldn't want to spend a week there but as a Launch or Crash Pad its ideal....

Directly in the city so shopping was easy and the staff were very pleasant and polite. It was vintage themed which was unique for me and very clean and comfortable. Would stay there anytime.

What a wonderful location, in a quiet village. Located on the river. The rooms are small, but that is what you might expect in an old inn. The innkeeper was very helpful in choosing day trips Breakfast was included and cooked to order. Fish and chips was one of the best we've ever had. Other pub food was also excellent. My husband and I stayed here this past weekend and we both LOVED everything about it- the service is EXCELLENT, the food is EXCELLENT, the room was very clean and cute, the area is GORGEOUS. "Old Ferry Boat St Ives - a little Gem"
We stayed at the hotel overnight after a day at Newmarket races. The hotel is 600 yrs old and the photos on hotel.com do not do the hotel justice at all. - it is beautiful. The staff were all very friendly and we ate in the restaurant in the evening - which was excellent.
