The location of the hotel is not only fantastic, but accesible on foot to everything you need! The hotel was comfortable, friendly, and offered a lovely buffet breakfast in the morning. Cadaqués in a gem and the Hotel Playa Sol offers a great view...splurge on a balcony if it is available!

The only complaint we had was that mattress was too firm for our preference. Pool area was clean and well maintained. Beach was right there. No streets to cross.

Probably best thought of as a compact fun restaurant with rooms and spa treatments, the whole experience would have been improved by being able to use... the pool area and outside seating. Nevertheless, the room was spacious and spotless - although I do agree that the lack of a bathroom door was unusual/slightly disconcerting! L'allure générale de l'hotel est agréable, mais où cela se gâte c'est lorsqu'on pénètre dans la chambre et qu'une odeur pestinentielle vous prend à la gorge, que le tapis de douche est trempé mais ce n'est pas le plus grave car vous ne pouvez pas rester dans la pièce même après l' avoir aérer. Lorsque vous le signaler, on vous change de chambre sans […] problème en disant qu'on ne sait pas d'où vient l'odeur, mais le mal est fait, dommage!! Un autre point négatif c'est que vous ne pouvez pas prendre le petit déjeuner avant 9heures et que pour diner ce n'est pas le bon soir, c'est fermer, encore dommage car ce pourrait être très bien. Une seule nuit passée dans cet hôtel et heureusement. Personne à l'accueil à notre arrivée, il nous a fallu attendre un petit moment. Chambre sans une réelle fenêtre et de ce fait une chaleur humide étouffante du probablement à la baignoire balnéo. Climatiseur en pane. Petit déjeuner servi trop tard à partir de 9h. Si nous avions suivi l'avis des autres internautes, nous n'aurions pas poursuivi notre choix. Nous avons pu constater que cet hôtel est tout à fait correct. L'accueil y est très agréable. Juste 2 petits reproches : l'insonorisation laisse à désirer. On entend la douche de la chambre d'à côté et quelques bruits de voix. Par contre, si on compare avec […] un Formule 1 comme le précisait cet internaute, il faut croire que cette personne n'a jamais fréquenté ce type d'hôtel car je n'ai jamais eu une chambre de plus de 20 m2 et une salle de bain avec baignoire à remous + douche à part dans un Formule 1 ou tout autre hôtel low cost. Autre soucis : la salle de bain avec wc est ouverte sur la chambre ce qui ne permet pas vraiment une intimité nécessaire quelques fois. Par contre, le buffet du petit déj est particulièrement copieux et appétissant : jus de fruit, thé, café, chocolat, lait, fromages variés, charcuterie variée, gâteaux, viennoiseries, pain frais, tomates, fruits frais, beurre, confiture, miel, céréales (2 sortes), le tout à volonté... vraiment de quoi se faire un vrai PETIT DEJ. Nous avons apprécié cet hôtel et son accueil malgré tout. EMPLACEMENT A RECOMMANDER CAR TRES CALME ET A L'ECART DU CENTRE VILLE ET DE SES POLLUTIONS ACOUSTIQUES NOCTURNES. Read more
