Very nice resort. The pool and hot tub were the perfect way to end a day of snowshoeing. Restaurant very good and reasonable. Definitely coming back next year.

The hotel itself is very impressive and hotel service is friendly and very helpful, but the older rooms overtop the central part of the hotel are unusually small and some of them are right above the outside bar and restaurant area. If noise is a concern, these rooms may not be a good choice, although it was always quiet after 11:00 p.m. However, if you want to sleep past 7:30 or so, you should be prepared for the daily yelling and running of little feet from the newer sections of the hotel, down the hallway, past your door, and down the steps to the reception and dining areas. The room I had was kept very clean, although one bathroom lightbulb was blown and I had to replace it with a bedroom lightbulb, the bathroom sink had a slight leak, and the toilet seat had to be tightened. There was hardly enough room in the bedroom for my luggage, but the bed was very comfortable. The neighborhood outside the resort is quite nice, with food, entertainment, and recreation all close by. The restaurants in town seem to be overpriced, but fastfood restaurants are a short ride away down the highway, as are the outlet malls. Overall, this is a good place to stay, but some of the rooms are a bit small and are in a noisier area.

Everything about La Sapiniere was very nice. We were only there for the night. However, looks like great place for singles, couples and families alike. The only problem we had was when we arrived @ 9:30pm we were told we did not have a reservation. The clerk then stated it was because it was booked for 4/21 and not 5/21. However, upon arriving home and checking my confirmation email we did indeed book for 5/21. They did have a room; but, it was not in the main hotel and probably not the room we should have had.

This Super 8 Motel is as expected from a larger chain. It was very clean. They serve a continental breakfast which consisted of more than expected. They have a waffle iron!! Yummy! Of course they offer the standard fare of cereals, fruit, toast, bagels etc. Unfortunately they do have a drawback which is still minor. Their hotel is built on a mountain side therefore the hotel is higher than the parking lot. You must park at the entrance and get a luggage cart to transport your belongings to the room. You then must drive downhill, park, walk a flight of outside stairs, and a very short distance to the entrance again. Once again not a major drawback just a minor inconvenience. I would certainly recommend this motel to anyone and will definitely stay here again!

I was there for ski during my Spring Break. This hotel is hosted by the coulpe. They are very nice people, and willing to help. The room condition is great. Clear, quite. You will feel home once you stay there. Oh btw, the breakfast is really really great. haha

Drank a whole bottle of a very good Porto in front of the fireplace to celebrate the arrival of the New Year ! We felt like home and were very comfortable :-) didn't make it to the breakfast next morning and regret it...next time perhaps.

Nice clean place to stay with a lovely dining living room with a wood burning stove. Excellent environment to chill out. The hosts are nice people, friendly and not at all intrusive. You can enjoy the space without a hassle. Close to the town. Food can be a bit less traditional. We like spicy and hot food. No real complaints.

My friend and I stayed at this B&B during a ski weekend getaway. We flew in from Toronto on a Saturday morning, landed at La Macaza airport an hour later, boarded the shuttle to the B&B, and, before we knew it, we were riding the slopes. At the B&B, we were greeted by Jean-Claude and Linda and they were very friendly and helpful. From the beginning […] they understood that we wanted to get to the hill as soon as possible, so they quickly helped us to get settled in and gave us instructions to get to the hill by bus. This was a nice tip because the bus stop is right across from the B&B and we saved good $ in taxi fares. I can't say I got to enjoy their cozy living room as I was totally exhausted by the day's end, but it is filled with good books, good music, and a warm fire place -- perfectly charming for a quiet evening. The breakfast in the morning was splendid; the decor, portion size, and taste of the meal were all straight A's. All in all, this place was great, and we'll definitely be back! Séjour très agréable et reposant où nous avons été reçu par des hôtes très accueillants. Les chambres sont très confortables, spacieuses et calmes. Notre séjour un peu court ne nous a malheureusement pas permis de profiter de tous les équipements. Nous devons surtout souligner la qulité des petits déjeuners, exceptionnels, copieux et originaux.

We spend two nights at the Auberge and had a great time. The hotel is pretty close to all the main attractions by car. The room is really clean and the breakfast is an enjoyable meal! The owners are very friendly and give a great help to explain how to get around the area! I surely recommend the place.
