The Riad was great but the neiborhood was not that good, It's really hard to find this place, there's no any sing at all and It was really scarry to walk from the place the taxi droped us off at 9:00 pm to the Riad, the only direction the taxi driver gave us was take this way and walk 300 meter straight but we found many little streets and got so confused till we found some kids and ask them for the Riad and 3 of them lead us tho the main entrance of the Riad, we pay them 5 Euros but they keep asking for more money. The service was just great, the brackfast was good, but after 3 days we had almost the same a lot of carbs and low in protein.

If you have stayed at Ibis before, no surprises. This hotel is about 6km out of the city center - perfect if you have a car and you've had enough Riads and the Medina - this hotel is in a quiet suburb. Room can be a bit noisy in the morning as the sound carries through the hall. Food was SPECTACULAR, we had two meals a day and even left the Medina to return to the Ibis because the restaurant was so tasty.

My husband and I spent 5 nights at the Riad Nesma, and we enjoyed our stay there tremendously - it is very close to all the sights in the medina, the staff was very friendly, and the freshly squeezed orange juice you had to start your breakfast off with was delicious - furthermore the staff served you a nice pot of mint tea whenever you felt like it - also a real treat. Considering that it is categorized as a budget riad, you get really good value for your money.

Located in Marrakech (Medina), Riad Lapis-Lazuli is close to Ben Youssef Mosque, Almoravid Koubba, and Marrakesh Museum. Also nearby are Djemaa el Fna and Majorelle Garden.

This riad was great in every way. The staff was helpful from the very first moment of our trip to the very last. We stayed four nights and never tired... of the place. The room was small, but comfortable and very clean. There was unlimited hot water and even a tv, though it only had two channels of news. Literally the only downside to this riad is that it's located in the medina, which can feel very sketchy at night (it's not at all dangerous, but is unsettling even for a small group). We overcame this by just taking a taxi to a square about 150m from the hotel and walking from there. I would recommend this riad to anyone visiting Marrakesh. Amazing hospitality! The staff was incredible. They went above and beyond their duties. I would highly recommend eating dinner at the hotel. My favorite was the couscous, but I have to warn you that the dish is huge!

We have just returned from 4 nights at the Riad Lapis Lazuli and absolutely loved it. The Riad is a wonderfully decorated and beautifully maintained. The two owners are extremely hospitable and Abdou, who works the nights is an absolute star, for whom no request is too much. Would definitely recommend this Riad to anybody looking to go to Marrakech. This Riad is found in the north of the Medina, a 5 minute taxi ride to the main square, or a 25 minute walk through the streets. This makes an interesting walk and it is easy to get lost - we had 4 maps and still got lost all the time!! though after a while we knew our way back easily and even showed a taxi driver the way! The taxi drops you off a 2 […] minute walk from the Riad, and then you walk through little alleys - take care not to accept someones 'help' to show you back - they will expect money! 2 men were unhappy when we offered them 2 euro's as we had no change on us - Abdul (from the Riad) had to have words with them and send them away - a little scary on our first night! Best to get a taxi back at night - only 30 morrocan - £3! Rooms in the riad are all lovely - we went for a nosey as we were the only ones there on one day! Lovely terrace to chill out on at night and have a cold beer! The owners were friendly and Abdul was very very helpful, though non spoke much english and we speak no french so we all muddled through! I was greatly impressed with my room that was decorated in a traditional morrocan theme. The theme was echoed in the court yard downstairs. The service was fantastic and Patrick took great care in greeting and assisting his guests. The only negative comment-the location is a bit of a walk from the main square, but otherwise overall a great stay!

Très bonnes! L'accueil était aux petits soins. Nous y avons passé un agréable séjour. La seule surprise au départ était de découvrir que le riad n'était pas à proximité immédiate de la place Jemaa El Fna mais à 10-15 min à pieds. Mais cela n'était pas un problème au final, la marche au milieu des ruelles était plutôt sympa.

Det är långt från hotellet till taxistationen. Kräver en promenera bland trånga mörka gränder där många fordrar att få eskortera dig till hotellet vilket vi upplevde som osäkert. Tänk på att en del rum är mycket små. De är mer om en hall än ett rum. Finns t.ex. ingen plats att placera resväskan. Den får man lägga på den lediga golvytan. Frukosten bestod […] oftas av rostade trekanter och marmelad. Dörr saknas mellan rummet och toaletten. Servicen på riaden var som bäst vid ankomst samt vid försäljning av något. Vill inte rekommendera detta boende till de som vill ha nära till marknader och restauranger. Inte heller till resande utan manligt sällskap med tanke på promenaderna till och från taxistationen kvällstid. Read more
