Overall I was very pleased. The value for our stay cannot be beat. The staff was extremely helpful--which is a plus for a family traveling with small children.

wellness center is great. Some of the rooms in the hotel are a bit dated. Example: this time my room had a flatscreen TV. Last time my room had a small CRT TV. But the hotel is comfortable and the beds and room were clean.

Beautiful buildings and surroundings, very nice, large rooms, and the staff was very nice and helpful, even going out of their way to bring us a large bucket of ice to chill some beverages at night. The location is a little secluded, but that isn't necessarily a downside - it was quite close to two places we wanted to visit and was perfect for a stop along the way. I would highly recommend a stay.

voor ons was het een tophotel, omdat we van romantiek, vergaanheid, originaliteit en oude doorgezakte vloeren en balken houden, maar de kwalificaties maak ik lager dan gewild omdat ik denk dat mensen die modern zakelijk comfort gewend zijn hier wat vreemd tegenaan kijken. Als het hotel aangeboden wordt als "oude pleisterplaats"/ "verversingshuis voor […] koetsen en paarden" , "authentieke herberg" geeft het goed de charme ervan weer.Aanrader, zeker doen in deze zakelijke wereld. Vi benyttede hotellets restaurant om aftenen og bestilte Gourmand-menuen. Kan varmt anbefales. Men næste morgen da vi skulle tjekke ud var regningen blevet en del større end menuen stod til at skulle koste, tillægsbeløb der stod til at være inkluderet - og det trækker ned på oplevelsen.
