Located right on the beach just a little bit up hill. Great view. Modern appartment. 30 min by car to Malaga. Circut breaker in our apprtment didn't tolerate more than one appliance working at a time.. Had to constantly flip it. Hai dryer wasn't in the room. Had to ask for it. Was told to come the next day bcs the office was floated from storm the day before.. The key wouldn't work at the building entrance - so people were just leaving the door open.. Little things....

We enjoyed the stay and think the Hotel Andalucia offers exceptional value. The wifi is strong and fast, the balcony nice, and the breakfast was far more extravagant than expected (especially at our low rate). We asked for information on a hike at the front desk and were advised on a fantastic 2 hour hike down to the castle and beyond. It is close to many restaurants, including a great restaurant just outside (to the right and next to an ice cream shop). Of course, if you are looking for an exceptional meal, head to Cafe Health Bar which is conveniently ten minutes away (and a fine walk even in the rain).

We loved the location, but drove there. Finding thir parking garAge under the hotel itself was not a greAt experience. The hotel name is high up so you must look up while driving into the plaza. Great location

Situated in Nerja, Parador De Nerja is close to Burriana Beach, Nerja Beach, and Balcon de Europa. Also nearby are Salon Beach and Nerja Caves.

Lovely hotel in a quaint beach town. The majority of people visiting this town (and at the hotel) were British, so English is widely spoken. The grounds... are beautiful and there is a great pool (supposedly opens June 1st, but we were there the last week of May and it was already open), as well as an escalator that takes you down the cliff to the beach. The beach in front of the parador is one of the nicest in Nerja, although still rocky near the water's edge. It's an easy walk to the more commercialized area of town - about 5 minutes. We only ate breakfast at the parador, which was quite nice, and even included cava and white wine in the buffet. Our room had a balcony overlooking the lawn/fountain, and was quite spacious. The pillows were rock hard. The bar did not serve drinks on the lawn - what a waste as the lawn area is beautiful - would have been nice to have a coffee or wine on the grass!!! Bring your own bottle!!!

We first stayed here 18 years ago at the beginning of a tour of southern Spain this time it was before a flight home. This was early April and everywhere was pretty quiet but the Parador was so good we tried to alter our flight to stay a few more days. Perhaps the outside design may not be to everyone’s style but don’t be put off by that. Easy parking […] and reasonably priced at 8euros, open bright reception, large clean rooms and balcony (superior) with a brilliant view of the extensive gardens and the sea. Plenty of space in the gardens to spread out and a nice bar and terrace. Two minute walk into Nerja. Only had breakfast in the hotel and what a selection probably one of the best anywhere. Staff was excellent and very friendly and helpful. Anytime we want a quick blast of sunshine this is the place for us. If this is the Parador model it’s to be applauded. Read more

Just returned from a short break. The staff were very helpful and spoke excellent English. The hotel was comfortable, however the bathroom was a little tired, but still good. The grounds that surround the hotel are beautiful and the setting for breakfast was spectacular.

Great stay at the parador... Quiet spacious grounds, lovely pool and that view. Breakfast on the terrace is perfect start to the day... the end being G n T s on the same terrace watching the sun go down. Rooms are well appointed with good toiletries, decent hairdryer and flat screen TVs Free parking is a big advantage as is the lift down to burriana […] if you want a change of scene or a fab ice cream sunday. Das Hotel war doppelt so teuer wie vergleichbare Hotels in der Gegend, daher hatten wir auch entsprechend etwas mehr erwartet... und sind enttäuscht worden! Servicegedanke scheint nicht so gross geschrieben zu sein, Zimmer hat nach Kanalisation gestunken und mehrere Haare und Krümel im Zimmer verteilt. Mit Duftstäbchen und Abwasserreinigung gegen Gestank […] und genauerem Putzen am nächsten Tag gings dann gut. Sehr ringhörig! Immerhin: Frühstücksbuffet ist sehr gut, Lage top! We (30+ couple) spent a week at Parador de Nerja early June. Even after pondering a while, we were unable to find anything to complain about. The hotel is extremely clean and comfortable, staff is friendly and helpful, rooms are cosy (ours had a beautiful view to the sea), breakfast buffet has everything you could hope for, garden and pool area is well […] planned and maintained, and the location of the hotel is excellent (close to beach and centre of Nerja).
