Nice hotel, room was ok'ish (shame upstairs the noisy floorboards upstairs above our room!). Food was generally ok (shame about the cold mussels they tried to serve us - they went straight back!). Overall was generally fine, good location too (just off main roundabout).

Loved this B&B! Great location on the coast, it's by a power plant but that didn't bother me. The proprietor and his family were very accommodating and sweet! Thank you for a lovely breakfast!

The Appledore House was simply amazing. They did a great job making sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed. I would absolutely recommend it to anyone staying in the area. Hopefully we can make the trip back to Appledore and stay there again.

We really enjoyed our stay at this hotel. The staff were wonderful. The village is lovely, though the streets are narrow and parking is limited. We are glad we stayed in quiet Porlock rather than busier Minehead. Our room gave us plenty of space for our family of four, including a separate sitting room. Would definitely consider staying here again.

Unfortunately due to the current economic situation the hotel was somewhat under booked which was a great shame as many people missed out in enjoying a wonderful stay in a perfect location with views that were unsurpassed,as for the evening meals what can i say except well done Chef!
