Close to airport, but surprised that there is too much concern regarding safety (i.e. supermarket at gas station closed doors after 5 and order only behind window). Even hotel access is through gated door (although safe but raises questions about neighborhood). Otherwise good/clean rooms with suitable breakfast plus decent price.

We were surprised how quiet it was to sleep since we were right next to the airport (and our room was right by the elevator). We heard one airplane before we fell asleep but were not awakened by any others or anyone all night. The room was spacious and clean. Our stay was just fine. We needed to be close to the airport and they have a free shuttle. Just call the hotel when you get into the Houston airport and they will tell you where to go to meet the shuttle. The front desk clerk was super friendly and helpful.

So this was fine for an overnight stay before foreign travel but the rooms are quite small (we were 4 people) . The biggest bummer was the shuttle which took half an hour to get there when we called. We got in late (about midnight) and had a 9 am international flight so every extra minute of sleep was valued and the shuttle stops 4 or 5 places (it is […] not a la Quinta shuttle) so it does not just come get you - it is on a route and at that time of night it can be a half hour wait. And, they never told me this when I called so I kept honking we must be in the wrong place because it should not take so long to go 2 miles. But, the group of 8 on our same flight had it worse because they could not even fit on the shuttle and had to wait for the next one! It's clean, breakfast was fine, but if You are on a quick layover, you might spend the extra bucks to stay in the Airport or use a can instead of the shuttle. Read more

Friendly, helpful staff. Fast pick-up from, and back to, airport. Comfortable, clean, nicely designed, and reasonably priced. The only improvement I would suggest would be to add more protein (eggs, etc.) to the complimentary breakfast. I'd happily stay there again.

The mattress was too soft. The sheets did not fit well and kept coming off at the corners. We had a king size bed, but the blankets were definitely not king size. It makes for a very uncomfortable sleepless night. We had to adjust the mattress and boxsprings on the frame, and I cut my finger on a sharp edge of the frame.

Disappointing hotel for the la Quinta brand. The walls and floors are so thin, I could hear the guy next door snore. The place is outdated and feels as if it is one of those small town establishments in the middle of nowhere. Breakfast is ok. Yogurt, hard boiled eggs, waffles. Everything was great, but............ the 2 rolls of toilet tissue were almost empty. A call to the desk did not result in additional tissue being delivered to the room. Not a good way to leave a positive impression on guests.

No one tells you when you book that they do not have an airport shuttle. You have to go to the parking shuttles and ride one of those to the hotel. I wasted a lot of time at the airport trying to figure out which shuttlebto take. The carpet in my room had dirty spots.

Nice hotel overall. Very helpful staff. Cleaning staff needs improvement. Shower curtain needs to be replaced. Kleenex and cups were not replaced when empty. Our dirty clothes bag was thrown out with the trash and had to be recovered but they were very apologetic and did make everything right.

We stayed at La Quinta because it was near the Bush International Airport and they offer free shuttle service to and from the airport. The room was very clean and nice and the service was first rate. A free breakfast was also a plus. We would definitely stay there again.

I book the hotel for 1 night because it was close to the airport (IAH). The rooms were nice and clean. The location was safe and secure. There were 2 problems. My GPS could not find the address so I had to call the hotel to get an address close to the hotel. Also when checking in the lady at the front desk was nice.

We had an early flight next morning, wanted to stay at hotel near the airport. The hotel is about 5 minutes from the airport. The hotel offers shuttle service every 1/2 hour, but we had rental car,seems to be very convinient. The hotel looks live brand-new. The bed was very comfortable and large. Highly recommend.

Their rates are great; my room was great (clean, comfortable, everything in excellent condition); the front desk staff was super nice and incredibly helpful. I was there for a job interview and the hotel is less than two miles away from where I needed to go. The only […] two things I would probably not rate very high ─ and I don't even think they're all that important ─ are that their internet service was kind of slow and the only business establishments you will find nearby are a gas station and a Burger King, so there's nothing to do and no places to go eat. We had a layover in Houston and stayed here. We were traveling with a small pet and the Hotel was great, no problems with the pet. The shuttle was easy and right on time in the morning to pick us up, plus they have free wifi and a great breakfast. If we have a layover again in Houston we will stay here!
