The hotel was not the best of my trip. First of all, it is really difficult to get to, especially with large luggage. It is in the middle of Little India's bazaar. The room that I booked on this site said that I was getting a room with a view, but I received a room with no windows. The room itself is kind of old and I questioned the cleanliness. Laundry was advertised to take 12 hours, but it was 2 days before I received it back, and it was pricey. The front desk was also not helpful in giving basic directions, leading me to a post office kilometers away. the location is good for the LRT, light rail. But to get a taxi to anywhere, the front desk is fairly reluctant to help. They referred me to call the tour company in the lobby to call for the taxi and again the tour company will only call for taxi that will offer long distance destination such as KLIA, etc.

It is close to LRT however if you have a early morning flight the LRT does not start until 6:30 so you would miss a early flight because the airport is 60 minutes south of this location so we could not use the LRT as originally planned. Taxi cost start at 120 RM but we found one that took us for 95 RM about 35 USD I did see others paying 160++RM

The Citin is located in Little India, 2 Subway stops from the Central Station and a 10 minute walk to KLCC. The hotel itself is quite clean and even has a travel booking desk for adventures around Kuala. For Islamic travellers, it has an added bonus of being located just 2 mins walk from the nearby Masjid Jamek mosque. The rooms are a bit small for a couple but perfect for an individual traveller. Our room had a few issues though and a complaint to the service […] desk led nowhere. Our bathroom faucet for some reason was only letting out hot water. When it rained, there was a crack next to the window ceiling edge which caused some issues. Thankfully, none of our things got wet. Room service was adequate and a nice addition is the water cooler on each floor. The location of this hotel is excellent. Catching a cab to bukit bin tang nearby costs less than 10 ringits. Nice and close to rail and only 2 stops from kl sentral. Small rooms but fine as all i needed was somewhereto sleep, although morning prayers on loudspeaker outside was as good as any alarm clock. Safe in room for passport etc. You just have to find a gap in market stalls to enter the hotel! Generally pretty happy with my stay

Pretty good and friendly staff. Unluckily my room is facing the mosque and I'm awake every morning by the pray, however, this is compensated by the nice view of KLCC and KL Tower. They are awesome especially at night!

The check-in process was overly complicated and unfriendly; we had asked for a non-smoking room when we booked online, but the receptionist refused to give us one unless we paid more; the room was not nearly as nice as the photos online suggested; our room was on the first floor and was lit up all night by […] the fluorescent streetlights outside; and the travel agent in the lobby tried to scam us into paying twice as much for a cab to the airport as the cabbies just down the street from the hotel quoted for us. Was very, very disappointed in this hotel. Firstly, nneaely impossible to find given the tent city of street vendors whose tents completely obscure entrance. Far from Chinatown/towers/StarHill, etc. Dirty hotel, filthy lobby, elevators & corridors. Rooms marginally better. Noisy! Toilet ran all night, room or hall above had loud noise from furniture […] scraping floor, other loud whining motor noises, perhaps from elevator all night? Air conditioning struggled to keep cool, but was Ok after hours running. Internet wireless was good. Breakfast horrible. Dry Malaysian noodles, poor & stale breads. I ended up waiting cornflakes. The worst place to visit ..... I am so disappointed with the service .... My embarrassment is they don't have my reservation at all ..... I have wait for 25 minutes then I got a room ..... My second disappointment is when I make a reservation thru Hotel.com I request for queen bed but I was given 2 separate bed .... We were told there's WIFI inside room but after several hours till next day trying we could not get connected. Rooms are small and you can hear the noise feom the other room.service not acceptable. I pity the security guard as they are lack if staff then the security works as doorman, Maintenance and room service. The place is not a hotel, it's like a motel. The only reason I picked this hotel was that it was relatively cheap and had free internet in the rooms. Big mistake, out of three days the internet worked for max three hours and no response from the staff. The room smelled and the location was horrible.

I've stayed 3 times at this hotel as it's a good price in a good location. It's a budget hotel, but a good one. In the past my only complaint was that the check in was super slow. However this time it was very quick and the hotel staff were very friendly, so they seemed to have improve on that which was appreciated.

The room was clean and services was also good. I was surprise that the hotel amanagement allows us to leave luggage at hotel for free although we have checked out. Everything was almost perrfect. However, vehicles cannot stop directly infront of lobby, you have to walk from the back to get the main entrance.

I've stayed twice in this hotel and I will probably stay again because the location is right for me, it's clean, simple and the price is what I am looking for. My only complaint is that the computer system they seem to use to check you in takes about 15 minutes per person.
