Hotel Rosa del Mar - Hatillo

The desk clerk was very friendly & gave us a great food recommendation to Truco - a local eatery. Her directions were great. The only problem with this hotel was that the AC was very noisy.

There aren't a lot of better options. Hotel is passable, restaurant is ok (when open), but slow. Pool is crappy looking and closed a lot of the time. The back patio is nice. "Mountain View" means views of the burger king and church's chicken next door. But like I said, not a lot of options if you need to stay in this area

Hotel Rosa del Mar, I will begin by saying everything was outstanding, except the elevator was out of service especially during a the new years weekend; and there was not internet service in the room. We were very satisfied with with the quality and genuine interest of the hotel personnel.

The reason we stopped at this hotel is because we landed in San Juan and we were traveling to Rincon via rental car. The good: the area it’s not the most amazing but it’s not terrible overall we felt it was safe which counts allot when you are visiting a new place. The hotel has free parking, the room was very clean. The bed was OK, it’s defiantly not […] for those who are looking to get some deep rest. The morning breakfast was very basic but accommodating. The bad: the location is terrible very hard to find it from the road because it’s behind a Burger King and Church Chicken. Because of this there is some noise from folks going through the drive through. Overall I would stay again as a midpoint between San Juan and Rincon but I would not consider it for a lengthy vacation if you are the type who enjoys hotel comforts as this hotel serves the bare minimum. The food was pretty pricey - for what little you got. The room was nice and clean. Doesn't seem like the best area, but it worked out okay.

The hotel was not too difficult to find. We chose it because it was not too far from the Arecibo radio telescope. Our room had a nice view of the ocean.

Very nice room for the price. The room was clean and included frdige, microwave and coffee maker. Don't bother going to the restaurant in the hotel. Not even the person in the reception could recommend it when asked. Both service and food was well below what you should expect. There is really not much to see or do in the immediate surroundings of […] the hotel, but it is conveniently placed less than 30 minutes from both the caverns and the Arecibo observatory. Read more

We arrived late at night for only the one night. The room was acceptable but the staff, at check-in, could have mentioned a large party in a conference room above us. Better yet, put us in a distant room. Luckily we were extremely tired but the noise did wake us a few times. The continental breakfast was inadequate with coffee and fruit. Excelent value for your money. Clean and quiet rooms. Hot water wasnt a problem. Front desk answered all our calls promptly. Ask for an ocean view room when you book, all you can see from the city view rooms are the fast food's garbage containers. The ocean view is breathtaking.

Everything about this hotel excellent. Starting with the staff, beautiful hotel in and out, very clean, very spaceous, comfortable, the room is very big. I really recomend this hotel as an 5 start hotel.

Heck of a very nice hotel. I found everything very new and clean. All the windows and door seem to be hurricane proof which provides additional quiet areas. Nice place in that even the hallways had A/C. Balcony provides view of the ocean, for rooms which have the ocean view rather than the mountain view. We loved this hotel. Staff was knowledgeable, efficient, couteous, friendly and helpful. The room was very comfortable, well appointed, clean and had an incredible view! The restaurant and bar v weregood. The pool was Very small and the free breakfast was only so so. However the overall experience was great and we would happily stay there again.

I have been talking to my friends and family about how much we loved this hotel. The staff was awesome! They had suggestions about where to go and what to do by taking us a little off the touristy path (which we loved). I am telling everyone I know to stay at this hotel if they ever plan on going to Puerto Rico

The room smell like it has not been used for a while,it had a humidity smell,the bathroom toilet sit had a stain like it was not well clean, it make me think if the room was clean at all.There was no Ice on the Ice Machine floor,the closet doors could no be wide open because it got stuck on the floor. Mit Abstand das Beste Hotel zu einem fairen Preis bei unserer Inselrundfahrt auf Puerto Rico. Zimmer sind sauber und geräumig, mit extra Service auf dem Zimmer (Mikrowelle, Kaffeekocher, Kühlschrank, DVD-Player etc.). Rezeptionmitarbeiter sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Este hotel es pequeño pero muy acogedor y el trato del personal es excelente. Mi esposo y yo fuimos a celebrar nuestros cumpleaños y la pasamos de maravilla. Si quieren darse una escapada, se los recomiendo. Lo único que recomiendo es que se dé un mejor desayuno continental.
