The Hotel was clean and comfortable. The pool was not operational, there was an option of using thier sister hotel's pool next door though. The big issue here is noise. The doors on each floor are very noisy when they close, this means that when everyone is coming home from the night's entertainment, you hear it. Landed at BKK, hopped on the new Airport Rail Link (15 Baht) to the end then the Sky Train (40 Baht) to On Nut Station. No traffic,no airport taxi rip offs, price was great! Walking distance to shopping center. Easy to bounce around with the Sky Train.

A 10mins walk to Blanga Road where alot of shopping and all the gogo bars and clubs are located. But as you walk down soi sabai first and look left and right at the sights, the walk would only seem like 5mins to you. Plenty of street vendors selling the famous banana pancakes, crepes etc. Jungceylon shopping mall is located at the cross junction of […] soi sabai and blanga road, has everything from souvenirs to food, cinema, arcade, bookstore all of modern decor. Travelling at a leisure pace from the hotel to patong beach will take about 20mins give or take, depending on how many stops you make along the way. Has a family convenience mart(like 7-11) situated a minute from the hotel. Swimming small but we still had fun inside. Rooms come with a safe deposit box but ours were still locked from the previous owner and we didn't bother to get the hotel staff to open it, left our passports in the room and it was safe. Breakfast consist of all-you-can-eat hotdogs, sunny-side up eggs, ham slices and toasted bread with butter/jam/marmalade with orange juice/milk/water. A must try local restaurant that is not only scrumptious but very cheap too is restaurant No.6 located along one of the stretches panning from blanga road. Ask anyone to guide you there. I have been to Thailand a few times and always had a great time. This time was no different but the Hotel was definitely the low point. We stayed for 8 days The hotel is located pretty far from the beach but it's fine if you have a scooter which you can hire from practically anywhere. We hired ours from the restaurant directly across from the hotel […] for just 200Baht per day. The Junceylon shopping centre is very close, and the less busy end of Bangla road is a short walk away. So far as the hotel itself, we were promised rooms with balcony and we didn't get that... 2 days later they moved us to a room with a balcony which was a little better but no views from either room (not a big deal) The worst thing is the beds, they are ROCK hard. Literally the hardest beds I have ever laid on so if that is important to you than this wont be the hotel for you. The rooms are a little boring, pretty much exactly like the pictures... but the lobby is pretty good. There is a computer in the lobby with free internet on all the time, the little bar is also a restaurant and is open until about 10:30pm every night. So the lobby is an OK hangout if need be. The staff are all friendly, especially Vorn who was the bartender (he actually came out with us for a night at Bangla rd) My other REALLY important tip for Thailand in general... ALWAYS book your site seing and tours etc, with a guide... like the one across the road from the hotel lobby... they are always cheaper... eg, elephant ride we found for 1500Baht + tuk tuk of about 400... BUT the tour guide offered a better elephant ride, return transport, PLUS visiting baby elephants and monkeys... all up 1,000Baht. Read more

I stayed here in mid March 2012. The hotel was in a state of disrepair with a lift on one side of the building being mended. The liftshaft was left open - a very big hazzard for guests. booked a getaway with my girlfriend over the new years. upon check-in, the room was not ready at 4pm so we had to wait for the room to be made up. Not a big problem. The shower and toilet are on the same level of floor in the bathroom and with the inadequate drainage in the hotel, you will often have to go to the toilet ankle deep in water. The bed […] we ordered a kingsize, we had two singles pushed together which were the hardest beds i have ever slept on. Staff were extremely unhelpful and everything seemed like a massive burden for them. Tried getting a bucket of ice sent to our room for pre-drinks, couldn't be done. No staff were available for it at 730pm. Getting towels out from behind the bar to use the very smal and extremely cold pool resulted in rolling eyes, sighs and a book essentially thrown at us to sign. We booked for 7 nights at the Baramee Hip Hotel and were disappointed to say the least!  Upon arrival we gave in our details & passports and were just left to wait whilst the receptionist began to help another guest who had rudely pushed in front of us. After 10 minutes of waiting a member of staff took us to our room without offering to help with out […] bags, with limited English he showed us the room and it's amenities, waited for a tip (which he never got) and left. The room was pretty big, a bit too big, beside the bed was a huge space were another bed had previously been but they hotel had never bothered to put other furniture in it's place. The breakfast was pretty much the same as any buffet style in Thailand, which didn't change day by day, so not much choice!  The only one time we did order food we were left waiting for half an hour before a member of staff told us the oven wasn't working!  The pool was a good size, so was the sunbathing area! The hotel is quite close to Patong beach and the Bang La Road, about a 10/15 minute walk, that includes being hassled as you go along. If you don't fancy the walk the hotel has a free shuttle to the beach every other hour, it does get full quick so be there early for a seat. Read more

새벽 00:20분 푸켓 도착하는 비행기여서 담날까지 잠시 머물 저렴한 호텔 찾다가 선택했는데, 이틀 이상 있었으면 여행기분 다 망쳤을듯요. 딱딱한 침대. 눅눅한 방. 샤워기 하나 제대로 되어있지 않은 화장실.

Hotellin aula yms oli ok, kuten myös uima-allas osasto, tosin allas oli talon pohjoispuolella eli sinne ei paistanut aurinko sekä rantatuoleja oli vähän ja allas suht pieni, mutta toimi hyvin päivän päätteeksi vilvoitus tarkoitukseen. Huoneet oli "90-luvulla" sisustettu, vähän oli kulumisen jälkiä, muuten huone oli siisti. Hotelli on muuten rauhaisalla paikalla (pois Bang La Roadin hälinästä), mutta hotellin molemmilla puolilla on menossa rakennustyöt, joten jos suunnitteli nukkuvansa pidempään kuin aamu seitsemään, se luultavasti jäi vain haaveeksi. Aamupala oli aika lattea, ruoka oli monipuolista, mutta aika raskasta. Hedelmät olivat kuivia ja aamupalalla tarjottiin […] esimerkiksi kanaa ja perunamuusia. Ruoka oli ennemminkin thaimaalaista kuin amerikkalaista. Huoneet olivat siistejä, mutta usein siivouksen jälkeen huoneesta saattoi puuttua vessapaperi tai saippuat. Hotellin henkilökunta oli erittäin ystävällistä, joten siitä suuri plussa (Ja puhuivat myös englantia). Etäisyydet olivat sinänsä ihan hyvät. Rannalle on kävelymatka, vaikka matka kuulostaakin pitkältä. Shopping Center Jungceylon on lähellä ja näin ollen myös paremmat ruokapaikat. Paras biletyskatu, clubit ja baarit ovat lyhyen kävelymatkan päässä. Hotelli on sisältä viihtyisä, mutta ulkopuolella näkymä on lähes sama kuin missä tahansa muualla; ei erikoinen ja hieman 'alkukantainen'. Hotellia suosittelen ennemminkin kaveriporukoille ja pariskunnille, jotka haluavat pitää hauskaa kuin perheille. Yleisesti Patong Beach lomakohteena ei ehkä sovi lapsiperheille. Read more

제가 친구들것까지 방을 5갠가 잡았어요. 공항에 밤 11 시에 도착하는데 비싼 리조트 잡기는 아까워서 싼맛에 그냥 하루 잠깐 잠만자고 다음날부턴 반타이로 옮기기로 했습니다. 일단 애들보고 방에 짐풀고 바로 나오라고 그러고 저도 방에 들어갔다가 나왔는데 한명(남자후배임)이 기겁을 하는겁니다. 너무 큰 바퀴벌레가있다고 진짜 주먹 만하 답니다. ㅋㅋ 그래서 방을 바꿔달라니까 처음에는 트윈베드 어쩌구 하더니 없다는 식으로 얘기하면서 안바꿔 준다는군요 뭐 어차피 방도 많이 잡았겠다 다른방에서 자면 되었지만 서비스나 (아 체크인도 밤에 피곤한데 40분 이상 걸렸음) 바퀴벌레..
