After viewing all the other reviews, I selected this hotel. What a pleasant surprise. Restaurant for dinner is pricey but worth it. The breakfast (by voucher) is way above what you would normally see on a breakfast buffet.Will definitely stay at Best Western Plus again. White Spot Restaurant across the street is upscale and food is wonderful.

I was surprised by the tidiness of our room specially the innovations the housekeeper was using to decorate the towels. It was very convenient to stay with an 18 month old baby!
Location.
Conveniently near the airport in Edmonton, Best Western Plus South Edmonton Inn & Suites is close to South Edmonton Common. Additional area attractions include Snow Valley Ski Club.
Hotel Features.
Best Western Plus South Edmonton Inn & Suites has an indoor pool, a waterslide, and a spa tub. Wireless and wired high-speed Internet access is complimentary in public areas. Business amenities include a 24-hour business center, small meeting rooms, and a meeting/conference room. A complimentary breakfast is available. The staff can arrange tour/ticket assistance, event catering, and limo/town car service. Additional amenities include a fitness facility, a concierge desk, and multilingual staff. "Everything we were looking for"
Stay was great. The kids loved the pool and waterslide, the hotel was clean and new and we especially loved the fact that there was no smoking. Too many hotels offer both smoking and non-smoking rooms, but we can always smell the smoke-- yuck! In looking for a hotel we were looking for a non-smoking hotel with a pool (waterslide was a bonus), with continental […] breakfast and one that rated high -- this one rated #2 out of 84 hotels in Edmonton on Trip Advisor. This hotel met all our requirements plus it was easy to connect to major routes in getting around the city. We would stay here again. Read more

Very comfortable room/beds in a nice new hotel. Free breakfast made this an excellent value.
"Great hotel for the price"
Everything is great, the only shortcoming is the fintness center. All the equipments inside does not work properly, which is unfortunate. That is why it is a 4 instead of 5. However, the hotel is new and IMHO it is better than a lot of 3 and even 4 star in Edmonton
"Best Western Plus Edmonton South - Family Stay"
When we first arrived, the room they put us in was a smaller room than we booked, but the front desk lady was super nice and fixed it right away. The pool was a lot of fun with the water slide and the continental breakfast was AWESOME - waffles!
Would stay here again in a heartbeat!

I've stayed in quite a few hotels in the past year and very rarely the same one twice. This hotel will be the exception to that habit! It's a wonderful hotel, excellent staff and clean, comfy rooms. I'll stay there again my next trip to Edmonton.

Hotel is new, and in a pretty good location. 15 minute drive to West Edmonton Mall, 15 minutes to the airport or 5 minutes to South Common shopping. Hotel is nicely decorated, the queen beds are very comfortable and the hotel is quiet. This hotel was new, which is why we chose it. But beinglocated on the main highway, it was very noisey all night from the traffic and we had our window open for fresh air...it was hard to sleep. The room where they host the breakfast is very claustraphobic...certainly could have been opened up into the lobby! And the craziness of having the pool/slide […] entrance into the main lobby...the floors were so wet from all the kids running through, that was crazy maddness! "Good place to stay in South Edmonton"
The room was clean, the location was good, just off the Anthony Henday and not too far from the airport. It isd a new neighborhood but there were a few restaraunts in the area and mor coming. The breakfast was excellent.
