My wife and I have stayed at the Courtyard in Mahwah three of the last four years to attend the NEAF astronomy show at the Rockland Community College in Suffern, just a few minutes away. We've always had good a experience and this stay was no different. The recent renovations definitely spruced the hotel up. The pool and spa area was nice, although the acoustics in the room left my ears ringing after a group of children in the pool were not using their "indoor voices." Our room was very clean, everything worked well, including the internet connection (which is a wired connection) and having a Dunkin Donuts right next door makes a stay here worthwhile in my humble opinion! Just grab a coffee and a bagel sandwich and go. The rates are competitive with other hotels in the area. If someone on here rates the hotel low, they must be comparing it to a five-star city hotel or maybe a destination resort. It's not that, but it is a clean and decent place to stay while traveling for business or short-term pleasure. I believe we will stay there again next year.

It was a nice stay. Only complaints are the size of the double bed rooms and the internet was very off/on. Other than that it was an excellent stay.

I think it is a little too spendy for an "average" hotel, but I understand it is close to the airport.

This hotel is absolutely great. Especially for the price! Hotel must be quite new from all the furnishings and everything. Breakfast was nice. If I'm ever in the area again I would stay here again!!! Great hotel!!

"Great place to stay"
Great place to stay on your way to another destination. Well situated. Clean and comfortable. Good breakfast. Nice and helpfull staff. The only minor thing would be that although we had the address the entrance of the road is not well indicated and we almost missed it. Would recommend it to friends and we will definitely stay there again.

The hotel was very well-kept and modern, and the breakfast had a multitude of healthy choices. Also the nj transit bus was a ten minute walk to go into nyc, which wasn't bad. Its was a great engagement getaway!
"BEST HOTEL FOR THE PRICE"
This hotel was excellent. The hotel was recently renovated and very clean. Pool and exercise room very nice. Staff was very pleasant. Lobby had coffee, hot chocolate 24 hrs and the cont was great. Parking was on site and free. Really pleasantly surprised. Check it out!

Check in was fast and friendly, room was clean and smelled great!!!! Only problem was the heat/thermostat was on and off. Room was a bit chilly at times. Overall great experience.. Breakfast was a plus.

"Amazing Stay at Parsippany NJ"
This was our second visit and we loved the place. The beds are neat and clean. The room smelled fresh and nice when we came in. I would recommend this anytime over any other hotel in this region, whether for business or leisure travel. Even the breakfast is quite good out here. The business center is well equipped too.

I was surprised Xmas day to get a much better room then expected. I booked a King size bed, but the room had a nice living room, office desk, Wet bar, Big Screen TV and bathroom. Another great stay here. I have family living in the area. This hotel is always my for choice for a room. The King Studio has a fridge and microwave. Rooms and beds are very comfortable. Always clean.

The Hampton Inn - Parsippany was perfect for us. Mostly because of the very cozy, comfortable, bed and bedding. Physical comfort is a priority with us - and it was perfect. The breakfast was appropriate - a warm waffle is nice - we appreciated it.

This hotel was the best value ever. 2 queen beds, Cont. breakfast, 24 hr free coffee and hot chocolate. Indoor pool, Internet computer room exercise rm. nice lobby, friendly staff and very clean.What more can you ask for?? The best!

This is the second time I've stayed at this hotel. The beds are very comfortable. Room is kept very clean, though they do start early. Breakfast bar is adequate, not great. You can hear water running whenever a toilet is flushed in a nearby room. They really need new vacuum cleaners. The hotel smells very dusty due to the vacuuming. "Overall a Good Stay for the Money"
I would recommend that the continental breakfast be cooked and not microwaved and a small fridge be put in the rooms. The first breakfast was more balanced than our second morning. The second morning was filled with starch and fruit. I would have liked to see eggs and sausage and or bacon or some type of meats. This was a great deal for the two day stay in this New Jersey Hampton. I couldn't have gotten a better value if I had stayed at a five star hotel. Would definitely recommend this.

I believe this building is fairly new. It was nice and clean. With a great staff. (Especially the breakfast women, she was lovely). The had complimentary breakfast that consist of bacon and eggs and french toast etc... over all better then the norm. With really food! The only downfall is I wanted to insure there was a fridge/microwave in the suite, […] and I was informed that there would be. However when I arrived and saw I didn't get it.
