Great location close to Deutsche Oper Berlin and served by bus less than 100m walk from the front door, less than 30 minutes to the Hauptbahnhof by bus and S-bahn. Excellent breakfast, one of the best I've had at the price. My only complaint is some smoking jerk in the floor below would blow his garbage out his window and of course it would be sucked directly into my windows. Thankfully the air-conditioning was working perfectly.

Had a really great stay. My girlfriend and I really enjoyed to friendliness of the staff and the comfort of the room. The only real complaint I have is that the doors and room are not that well sound proofed and you can hear everything in the hallway. But overall, good comfortable stay.

We stayed a week at the hotel and enjoyed it. Best locaition in Berlin, very close to most museums. also very close to the S & U Bohn and trains. Shopping is near by. I would stay again when in Berlin.

Very nice. No complaints. Had to pay for breakfast and wifi and parking but that seems to be standard in Europe. Breakfast was exceptionally good, great variety and quality. Room was very nice as was Hotel. Front desk staff was friendly, helpfl and spoke good English. Could walk safetly from Hotel to major attractions. On a street car and subway route. Would stay here again.

Everything was very good, including the restaurant. There are only a few things I would change: 1. The room had an old rundowned carpet. No matter how much you vacuum it, it does not look clean. Would much rather have a hardwood floor or something similar. 2. The "business room" is a very tinny space with only one computer. For the money I payed, I would expect a "real" bussiness room with three or four PC's, etc. 3. The espresso coffee machine never worked (although you can get good coffee just about everywhere around the place). Other than that, it is a great hotel ... specially the view, WOW ... awesome ... and the location can't be better. The staff was very friendly too.

Located in Berlin (Charlottenburg-Wilmersdorf), Domus Hotel Berlin Ku'Damm is close to Kaiser Wilhelm Memorial Church, Berlin Zoo, and Victory Column. Also nearby are KaDeWe and Technical University.

U and S Bahn access very easy. Short walk to major shopping district. Room next door was being renovated, that is the only complaint.

The Hotel is perfect for those seeking a clean hotel near the city centre as the hotel is two minutes from a U-Bahn station which takes you in the centre of Berlin at Potsdamer Platz in no time. The room was short on luxury but was a clean pleasant place to spend at the end of an exhausting day.
"Quaint Three Star In The Center Of Berlin"
This property is a quaint three star that is a good, low budget hotel. The location of the hotel is near the major shopping areas via bus. The bus stops are nearby and one of the end of line points is the Zoo which access the U-line, S-line and buses easily. A good Italian restaurant is across the street; a very good Indian restaurant is down the street. […] Laundromat is a few doors down from the hotel and the dry cleaner across the street, so you don't need to use the hotel's expensive service. The area is quiet. The rooms are small for the single occupant. The bed is not the most comfortable bed in the single rooms (a bit hard). A plus is that the bathroom is large for the small rooms and more room in the shower (no tubs in any rooms). I also stayed in the double rooms for three nights and the beds are much softer. But the bathroom, though large, has a small area for the toilet and a smaller shower area than in the smaller rooms. All rooms have ceiling fans. If you like thick pillows, ask for a second pillow. The high speed internet is quite high and free - a great bonus. The breakfast is a big disappointment as it is priced too high for what you get, which is a standard European style breakfast - eggs, simple meats, cheeses, cereal, tea and coffee, juice, breads - nothing more. Hotel should consider putting breakfast as part of the room rate rather than charge an extra 12 Euro. I would recommend this hotel for someone who does not need thrills - just a place to sleep. "Domus is in a lovely leafy area of West Berlin."
Public transport is close and a Taxi rank just outside. The breakfast is pretty average, but there are loads of lovely cafes around. Laundry charges in the hotel are steep, but there is a laundromat a block away. Reception staff are friendly and helpful. "Good value for money in a good area"
Rooms are very small but that is by far outweighed by the price. Very clean and fresh feeling from the time you enter the hotel, right through your stay in the room. Perfect breakfast. Nothing extravagant but everything I could wish for. Location is very good even if it is a 15 min walk to Kurfurstendam. Friendly staff and good Internet connection […] throughout (but the story with getting a new password every day is ridiculous). Also, if you are in a double room an have 2 devices, you can't use the code at the same time (but since the htl was not full at the time, they gave me a second code but only because they weren't fully booked). Are time in Berlin was a short one, And it was really nice that it was so close to Kurfürstendamm strasse. Location is really great, Hotel room was clean and nice but not a good view of the city, just a back ally. We had a little accident where a glass got destroyed, but the personal was really nice and say that it was okay. A other thing that I think […] was bad was the toilet in our room did not flush that well and they could not do anything about it they said. That make it unhealthy to live in that room, in my opinion. So we did not use the toilet that much in the room, we went down stairs. All in all it was a nice stay at Domus and if was not for the toilet I would give it 4 stars for the interior design, location and 24 hour staff. Read more

"Hotel Domus 2010 Reception 1960 Bedroom / Corridor"
The hotel had a very inviting reception area and public areas. However, soon as you get out of the lift and onto the corridors it goes from 2010 to 1960. The corridor I was on (floor 2) felt very old and tired. I got to the room and found that the room wasn’t quite what I thought it would be. There was a bottle of water in the room which was a welcome […] sight, but I feel a kettle would have been more beneficial but heh. The bed was comfortable but the pillows (I asked for a second you only get one on arrival) felt like they were made of meringue and was hopeless. The hotel says it has soundproof windows which is true I didn’t hear any noise from OUTSIDE the hotel but heard plenty on the INSIDE. I’m not sure what the walls are made of but for soundproofing they're as useful as the pillows. The room was cleaned everyday and the staffs were always very friendly. The easy way to get to the hotel is using the underground. If you're traveling from Schoenfeld go to Alexanderplatz then take U Bahn 2 to Wittenberg platz then U Bahn 1 to Uhlandstrabe then follow road with casino on your right hand side all the way down then its on your right. The hotel on its website says that all guest rooms offer an advanced level of comfort and technology, I wouldn’t agree with that statement to be honest. The hotel is basic but clean and modern. Which was excellent given the very low price. The hotel is also in a handy location; surrounded by restaurants and near to a U-bahn station and bus stop. The staff where extremely helpful and made my stay easy a comfortable. Overall, I was very impressed, excellent value for money.

This hotel was very nice with a clean & modern reception, lounge and dining area. The rooms were ample sized with comfortable clean bedrooms. There was also secure car parking at the rear where we stored our bikes which we rented from a place just 5 minutes walk toward the Tiergarten which was very convenient as it is a good walk to tourist attractions […] such as the Reichstag, check point Charlie, etc. Read more

"Småt, men godt"
Hotellet ligger rigtig dejligt og hotelpersonalet er servicemindede og smilende. Man kommer ind og det er meget moderne og rigtig flot. Da vi så fik vores værelse kommer vi på et meget lille værelse, hvor der kun lige var det der skulle være. Bruseren kunne kun spule i tre stråler, morgenmaden havde vi ingen erfaringer med, men det duftede godt. "super beliggenhed og godt til prisen"
Utroligt hyggeligt hotel med fantastisk personale,. Morgenmads buffet indeholder det den skal. Jeg boede på enkelt værelse der var lidt småt. Men da jeg kun skal sove der så pyt. Hotellet ligger i en gade der er fyldt med hyggelige spisesteder og alt fra en købmand med norde bænke udenfor hvor man kan nyde en øl til fancy små drink barer. "Nyt hotel beliggende centralt i charmerende område"
Hotellet er helt nyt, så alt var fint. Personalet var meget, meget venlige og hjælpsomme og rengøringen var i top. Desuden ligger hotellet meget centralt i et charmerende kvarter. Parkeringsforholdene var også fine - hvis man er heldig at få ern plads. Jeg vil gerne bruge hotellet igen.

"Enkelt hotell med perfekt beliggenhet"
Domus er et enkelt, men rent og trivelig hotell. Pop-kunsten som pryder hotellet er overdådig kitschig og dominerende og står i sterk kontrast til de temmelig spartanske rommene. Dette kan vi imidlertid leve med fordi Domus har perfekt beliggenhet i et meget hyggelig område og med mange trivelige cafeer og restauranter i umiddelbar nærhet. Ingen grunn […] til å oppholde seg på rommet mer enn høyst nødvendig med andre ord. Kort vei til U-Bahn, KuDamm og alt Berlin har å by på. Plus for egen parkering i bakgården og gratis internet. Helt igennem positiv oplevelse! Havde bestilt et comfort-room til to pers., og det var helt den rigtige størrelse for et par. Betjeningen var søde og effektive. Og snakkede engelsk. Beliggenheden er helt perfekt, 5-6 mins gå-gang fra Kurfurstendamm shoppingstrædet, og med mange restauranter beliggende på til denne. Dog ligger der en kirke meget nært […] ved hotellet, så da klokkerne ringede lørdag og søndag, var de ret gemnemtrængende. Ellers udnyttede vi byens omfattende og effektive U-bahn-system, for at nå omkring til de lidt mere kulturelle seværdigheder, som byen har at byde på. Hotel Domus er et 3-stjerners hotell. Og det gjenspeiler det også. Grei romstørrelse og beliggenhet, 8 minutters gange fra Kurfürstendamm. Lydisolerte vinduer. Gratis Wifi. Dyr frokost, 10 euro. Rommet var rent ved ankomst. Det var tepper på gulvet. Jeg bodde der 6 døgn. Gulvet ble ikke støvsuget en eneste dag. Håndkle ikke skiftet. Jeg la håndkledene […] på gulvet etter tre dager. Denne dagen ble ikke rommet rengjort i det hele tatt. Tok selv rene håndkær fra trallen til renbholderne. Høflige ansatte i resepsjonen. Jeg fikk en god pris på hotellet. Derfor var det et greit hotell og opphold unntatt rengjøringen. Read more

The hotel is not the best place where to stay in Berlin. The position is excellent, a few steps away from Ku'damm strasse, lots of shops and restaurants around, but the quality of rooms is a little poor. The staff is very friendly and always ready to help you, but rooms are not so comfortable. Mine was old, the bathroom should be renewed, specially […] because of the shower. Water was flowing down everywhere, just a small curtain to protect the flow. Internet is fast, but is firewalled and proxified. It's ok to surf the web, but TCP ports are closed by the router, so it's impossible for voip software to work (just skype is working). I've been in other places for less, but with higher comfort. Jeg har haft en super god opblevelse, og vil meget gerne der ned igen og bo på det sammen hotel. kan kun sige at vi blev taget godt imod da vi kom og personalet var imødekommen og havede et smil på læben. :-)

"Glimrende byhotel"
Hotellet ligger tæt på Kurfürstendamm og der er mange charmerende cafeer og oplevelser i umiddelbar nærhed af det. Selve Uhlandsstrasse rummer også nogle hygelige cafeer og butikker. Heraf skal fremhæves et økologisk supermarked med café der er et besøg værd. Der er også flere hyggelige cafér i nærheden, og prisniveauet her er generelt yderst rimeligt. Hotellet […] er pænt moderniseret og det er rent og pænt. Værelserne rummer det nødvendige. Hotellet ligger endvidere ikke ret langt fra Tiergarten, hvor man som motionist kan nyde skov og fred midt i storbyen. Jeg kan varmt anbefale hotellet til de der ønsker at opleve Berlin uden at skulle tilbringe dagen på hotellet. Når man så kommer hjem efter en lang dag i byen er hotellet et rart gensyn. Read more

"Hotel Domus è stupendo"
L'hotel si trova vicino alla famosa strada commerciale di Ku Damm nel centro di Berlino. E' collegata sia con Bus che con 2 linee metro molto vicine (10 min. a piedi). Unica cosa negativa e la colazione non compresa e il fatto che alla reception nessuno parla italiano e ne cercano di capirti.
