"This is a small gem of a b & b"
This is a very cozy farm house, nicely located and very quiet and comfortable. The proprietors and their dog Lucky are warm and friendly. They are very helpful in pointing out to us the local attractions. The breakfast they prepared was delicious. My son and I stayed at Rendezvous B&B because we had a hockey tournament at Jay Peak 20 mins up the road. Rod & Donna (and Lucky!)were absolutey great, and made us feel very comfortable. "Great place to stay"
my son and i were in town for a hockey tournament at Jay Peak. The Rendevous was a cheap alternative to staying on the mountain and is a reasonable distance. "Worth Going Out of Your Way to Visit!"
As I ventured through the dark and rain en route to my stay at the Rendezvous, I was regretting that I had not paid more attention to its location, as it was in the "wrong" direction from where I was spending my time. However, I was quickly won over with its warmth, charm, and the incredibly hospitality extended by Donna and Rod, the owners. I was only […] there long enough to sleep, eat breakfast, and leave but hope to return sometime to take in more of the area. The breakfast was fantastic and a great start to my day. Chatting with the other guests and with Donna and Rod was an unexpected delight. I highly recommend a stay at the Rendezvous even if, like me, you have to travel a bit out of your way. One tip, however: my GPS refused to find "Vermont Route 100" as a street name no matter what I tried. Luckily I had my iPhone and could follow my route on a map that way. However, it would pay to put a bit of effort into understanding your route before you are on the road. The approach, at least from the south, is VERY dark at night!
