Price and location were right. Grounds and maintainance inside and out were above average....flowers blooming everywhere! Front desk friendly and efficient. Room spacious and well appointed with 2 Q beds and new, big, flat screen TV (room 301). Towels were not lush, but there were 4 of them, so no issues!

This is a good choice if North Vancouver is your destination. Lots of shopping and eating in the market below the hotel, which is also where the parking is located. The more upscale and higher priced rooms get you further out towards the water, which can be worth it in terms of quiet and view.

Hotel was very clean and new. Hotel is in middle of Chinatown so you won't see many chain restaurants or food other than very traditional Asian.
Location.
Situated in Burnaby, Haddon House Bed & Breakfast is close to Metropolis at Metrotown, British Columbia Institute of Technology, and Crystal Mall. Also nearby is Swangard Stadium.

"Nice break from the norm..."
Excellent stay at the Haddon House. I travel so much and spend so much time in hotels, staying here is a nice break from the norm. It's as though you are staying at a friend's house. Very inviting, excellent breakfast and super clean, neat rooms. Johannes, Marie and Duchess are excellent hosts. Highly recommended!
"Exceeded our expectations"
The owners are charming and gracious and made us feel at home in their home. The building itself is immaculate, but still very warm and inviting. We had a 4-star breakfast and were privileged to share the morning with the other guest, visiting and exploring nearby Deer Lake Park. We had a wonderful time and didn't want to leave. "Haddon House B&B - north of Vancouver"
Beautiful location in a residential neighborhool NE of Vancouver - quiet, 1/2 block from a lake with walking trail, close access to 99/1 north Sea-to-Sky highway for travel to the Capilano Suspension Bridge & into the Coastal Mountains. This Heritage house was beautifully re-done 4 years ago. The main suite is very spacious with a sitting area & ensuite […] bathroom; the other two bedrooms are smaller, one with ensuite bathroom & one with bathroom across the hall. The hosts Johannes & Marie-Louise are wonderful & interesting people, and the food is amazing - he trained as a caterer in his home country of Switzerland when he was young. We often try to use B&Bs anytime we travel because of the comfort and "hominess". This one was our favorite of all time. It was beautifully updated while maintaining all the original character.
