I was looking for a relaxed environment near Tahoe that may also serve as a base camp for my family's ski/snowboard run. This place is really fantastic for me. We spent half the time out on the ski slope, but we also spend half of the time in this bed and breakfast place just relaxing. The breakfasts were also hearty for us and energized us for the […] time we spent on the ski slope or walking/sightseeing around. Aimee did a great job, thanks! There are also many restaurants within convenient driving distances to explore; some of which are five star rated. This wonderful Bed & Breakfast left nothing wanting. Spacious, immaculately clean bedroom and large bathroom. A comfortable, warm TV room with huge television. Upstairs a lounge with the softest settee where you can watch the sun rise and set over Lake Tahoe, play games, eat. I have stayed in many B&Bs in my time, but this one definitely tops the list. Not greeted by host-note left on door. Told to watch for bear activity-we cleaned out car but still had break in/no offer of fresh towels/had to buy own sugar free syrup for breakfast so if have special dietary needs bring your own/nice people but would think for the price would be greeted in person and offer more service. The entire facility is clean and inviting. The owner is a contractor and it shows in the details. It is located right across from Lake Tahoe (watch out for traffic because there is no cross walk). We came in and were greeted by the owner. He made us feel right at home and it seemed like we were visiting family. There was literally no check in because I paid through Expedia so we just unloaded our stuff and made ourselves at home for 3 days. We had the upstairs suite which was nicely decorated and appointed. This floor has a nice living area […] and view of the lake as well as the kitchen and dining area. It was a dream weekend for us over the New Year weekend with lots of snow but mild temperatures. It was our plan to go to a New Year's Eve party at a local casino but we changed our minds and came back to the Inn. My husband and I had a great time bringing in the New Year with the owner Bill and the other residents that were in the rooms downstairs.
