Close to centre of city, new hotel, good service. Only complaint was we booked a twin room and got given a queen room. But when we pointed out the mistake they quickly moved us to another room. Close to nice cafes and eateries. Would recommend.

I must start this review by saying the rooms was really clean, but that's about the sum total of the compliments. Right from the start the check in clerk treated us like a bad cashier at a 7-11, - very abrupt and not interested in us at all. Our superior room had a wonderful view of the adjacent multi-storey car park roof and the back of another faceless […] building. The safe in the room didn't work (this was fixed half way through our stay). There is no self park option, retrieving the car typically took around 15mins, but on the first day took 45 minutes causing us to miss the start of a family reunion lunch! It was also impossible to call down to ask for the car in advance as the line was always busy. Upon returning from our day out, tired, and ready for bed we found that the base sheet was too short for the bed by about 18 inches, exposing the matress, - not exactly comfortable or hygenic. When reported to the manager the following day he responded "that'll explain why we ran out of double sheets yesterday!" (we had a king bed!). Upon check-out they tried to charge us for the room, - we had already pre-paid with hotels.com, they then went on to charge us for items we hadn't had from the mini bar! This was then corrected but it cost me money for the foreign transaction! All of this coupled with an uncomfortable bed amounted to a pretty unpleasant stay. Read more

This one is still new, so condition wise it's fine. But there are no really good hotels in Adelaide. This one is, as the Japanese would say, for salarymen. It's serviceable, clean, and basic. Good location. Until it starts wearing out its the best hotel in Adelaide. But that's not saying all that much.

My partner stays here for business and rated it highly, so when i had a conferrence to attend I chose to stay here. I booked a king room - but when I arrived I was told that my hotels.com booking indicated I didn't mind which room I was given and was given a twin room - with a large window looking directly into the middle level of a well lit car park. […] No view and no privacy, and no king bed either! I needed to spend the evening in doing some work but had to do it with the blinds closed due to the proximity of the car park - the room was poorly lit and claustrophobic.The floor had been incompletely vacuumed after the last guest too, with chocolate scraps on the floor. This hotel is a two minute walk to Rundle mall and an easy walk to all Adelaide's attractions. There are numerous cafes and restaurants nearby. We found the hotel to be outstanding, great size rooms, amazing baths and showers and very clean. I would recommend the corner rooms as they are bigger and have a balcony. This new hotel has nice comfortable rooms and freindly and efficient staff. The continental breakfast ws not included in the tariff and was rather expensive at 26.50 per head but the variety, quality and quantity of food was good. Parking is not included either and the chagre is a steep $30 per night.

A very modern updated hotel with lap pool,sauna and steam room on 2nd floor. Food in restaurant is of a good standard especialy the steaks. The hotel is situated just half a block from Rundall Mall on North Terrace. Free internet for one hour near reception on hotel's computers. Staff very helpful and the restaurant was able to cook gluten free meals. ONLY […] drawback was the fact there is no carpark attached to the hotel. You can only get valet parking at $32.00 a day which adds extra expense when staying at the hotel. To avoid this to some extent you can park at the public parking across the road at $3.00 per hour. Couldn't imagine a better stay! We have used the hotel facilities of: steam room, spa, sauna and the pool and loved it! The falicities were of good quality, plenty of towels available by the pool area, often cleaned and checked every day - what more can I say. I took my daughter to the Crowne Plaza for a surprise 13th Birthday present. The staff at the Crowne went out of their way to make her stay a present she won't forget - including a birthday card and chocolates. I couldn't wipe the smile off her face the whole weekend! Thank you, Crowne Plaza.

It was overall a great stay. Hotel under 3 years old and well kept. All staff very friendly and helpful. in the heart of the city, so there were lots of places to go within walking distance. Museums, zoo, botanical gardens, shops, casino. Definitely would like to revisit in the future.

We had a fantastic time. 3 minutes walk and you are in Rundle mall. Turn right at Hungry Jacks and there are some great restaurants. Valet Parking was 35.00 and we chose this as it was easy. Breakfast was included in our rate and was excellent. We are going back for three nights this weekend. Oh and the beds and pillows, heaven.

The staff are the best part of this hotel, This was my first and last experience with a crowne plaza hotel group. The superior room I booked was small , bed was uncomfortable, $7.50 for a bottle of FIji water . quality of fixtures and fitting very contemporary and basic more like a holiday inn express. A friend who stayed at the hotel told me all about this Crowne Plaza Adelaide. And when we made plans to go for my daughter's Honors Graduation at the University of Adelaide, I did not waste my time. I logged on to Hotels.com and chose The Crowne Plaza. Well, I made the PERFECT choice. It was walking distance to the university. Most of the good restaurants […] were also close by and that was not all, I enjoyed shopping on Rundell Street. The rooms were spacious and have a very clean look. It gives that feeling of being young and free. And last but not least, we were entertained by the most friendliest employees at the front desk. They were Putra, Ric, Roslyn and a few more that due to their hospitality, I forgot to ask them their names. And will I come back. I definitely will. We had a most enjoyable stay at the Crowne Plaza in December. The room was spacious, quiet and comfortable, with a very pleasant view across the park and up to the Adelaide Hills. The fittings were modern and the bed was wonderfully comfortable - with 3 different sorts of pillows to choose from. The only slight negative was the $32 charged per night […] for valet parking - the only parking available for this hotel. We hadn't considered that this would be our only option and we had to wait about 20 minutes for our car to be brought up each time we wanted to use it. However, the staff were always polite, efficient and helpful and we quickly realised that this was the only way a hotel of this size, situated right in the heart of the city, could operate any sort of car storage. The hotel is right in the heart of the city, with quick access to lots of good restaurants. Rundle Mall is just around the corner. We would definitely use this hotel again. Read more

Crowne Plaza Adelaide was a great place to stay. Rooms were well appointed but there was a problem with power -TV often simply ceased and when using an iron we lost all power to the room. This was quickly remedied but frustrating.

My 4 nights at the Crowne Plaza for the cricket was a great experience. The location was excellent, very close to Rundle Mall as with pubs & restaurants, and only a 20 minute walk to Adelaide oval. The facilities were resort style and rooms were spacious, clean and modern.
