      The staff is impeccable!!!! It was Christmas in Helsinki and the city had not much to offer, but the receptionists considered a matter of honor to find entertainment options. Their service is outstanding and got to surprise me even more than the excellent facilities. I totally recommend!!!

      This hotel was easy, safe, and convenient to the airport. Only comment is that the shuttle drivers are quite brisk so if you have a family and a lot of luggage this can be a surprising challenge. As a family of four we ended up taking a cab because the shuttle drivers were quite onerous and didn't want to wait or assist my family in getting aboard.

      The room was very nice and not small at all. The staff were very helpful and were speaking English very well. The breakfast was excellent. The location is close to the railway very close to Helsinki City Center. There is a good mall next to the hotel too. I will definitely stay there again.

    It was a nice, clean, comfortable hotel. It is great for short stays. The location was so good that lots of bus, tram and metro stops was just in front... of the hotel.     The hotel was clean and comfortable. We had issues with the heat being too high and not going down. We were charged for 10 wifi cards when we only needed 4 and after returning home we received a call that we would be charged an additional fee beyond what we booked the room for.

    IT IS NEAR EVERWHERE. THE STAF IS HARD WORKING AND CAN HELP YOU. HOTEL IS SO CLOSE TO EVEYWHERE. FROM AIRPORT JUST TAKE BUS NUMBER 615 FOR 20 MIN. BREAKFAST IS GOOD AND THE ROOMS ARE CLEAN AND NEW. YOU CAN ALSO HIDE A BICYCLE FROM THE HOTEL AND GET FREE UMBRELLA FOR THE UNEXPECTED RAIN.

    I stayed for 5 nights. Staff is great, location is excellent, room and amenities are very comfortable. I don't speak much Suomi, so I was very pleased to learn that all front desk personnel speak excellent English. When I'm next in Helsinki, I'll book this hotel again.

    It has a good breakfast and right across from a metro. We booked a triple room and it suppose to have three beds but it was really 2 beds and pulled out chair. We would've booked any other hotels with 2 beds and a pulled out couch if we'd know it's the same with this one.

    Helsinki being as centralized as it is, this hotel was a ten-minute walk to the city center. The other Cumulus property would have been closer, but slightly more expensive. The staff was helpful and friendly, the breakfast pretty good. Accommodations were small, but we spent most of our time outside the room. The real downer was poor air conditioning […] in our room. Though we lodged a complaint the first day, it was too late to be attended-to until the next day. Normally this may not have been much of a factor -- it was after all Helsinki -- but there was a mild heat wave, which multiplied in our room with an afternoon exposure (facing the back) and windows seemingly designed to absorb any photon falling on this normally cool city. The next day, while the repairmen showed up punctually, the situation was not remedied by the time we got back to our room -- meaning another night of uncomfortable sleep. In total, I think this hotel is probably generally better than we experienced (not ALL the rooms could have air conditioning problems!). Read more

    The best quality of this hotel is the excellent location right next to Hakaniemi square. If you don't have a specific need to stay exactly there, I suggest you look for other options, because this place's quality doesn't meet its price. For example: there was no fridge in the room, they charged extra for WiFi, and the water pressure of the shower was […] of Mediterranean level = not enough. To add to that, the room key card didn't work and had to be fixed, the recliner chair was made as an extra bed for no reason and there was a construction work going on in the inner yard behind the window, beginning their noise and waking me up at 6 am. I count the last three undesirabilites as bad luck, but only the last three. Read more

    This is a really nice hotel and good value for money. The room and en suite bathroom were spotlessly clean. The buffet breakfast was very good with a choice of a hot breakfast or continental style with loads of fruit, yogurts, salads ect.     Good location and comfortable room, we enjoyed our stay. The breakfast was great with Marimekko cups and bowls. The only thing which was irritating was the lack of free Wi-fi and the lack of tea and coffee making facilities in the standard rooms which seemed a little mean considering the overall quality of the hotel.

    The location of the Hotel is near the city centre, just a 10-15 min walk away from Helsinki's famous sights (cathedral, main station, harbor). Cumulus Hotel is located at Hakaniemi square, a big market square. Because of the tram station the rooms facing the street are quite noisy, also when the noise-insulated windows are closed. The rooms are nice […] and equipped with simple, but modern furniture. Cable internet is available for free, WLAN has to be paid (2,50 Euro per day) which is quite OK. Read more

Badrummet hade troligen stått oanvänt ett tag). Frukosten kändes ovanligt tråkig (Ingen bacon, ingen frukt, otrevlig vattnig äggröra). Hotellet var vid just vår vistelse […] fullt av idrottsungdomar som gjorde att del blev mycket trångt och stökigt i matsalen.
