Staff was excellent. Rooms clean. Private parking. Good central locations. Bars, stores, restaurants within walking distance or a short 5 min drive. Recommend checking their website due to difference in rooms. Will stay again.

Exceptional value. The small hotel was only feet from the beach, and close to restaurants. The staff was fantastic. They provide free beach towels and chairs for the beach. The hotel is only minutes from El Yunque National Forest. I will stay there again when we make it back to Puerto Rico.

Location, location, location. Just across the street from a gorgeous beach with surfers to watch to your right and great swimming to the left. The staff was friendly and did their jobs with a smile. The facility was attractive and well maintained and there was a truly excellent restaurant about 100 paces away.

Definitely not a luxury hotel, but the room is clean and serves its purpose. The staff is very kind and goes out of their way to make sure guests are comfortable and have everything they need. We had a wonderful experience at this hotel. We wanted a place to go where we could create our own adventures and the staff at the hotel definitely helped us to do this. They are extremely knowledgeable about the area and helped us to pick the best day and time (Monday before noon) to go to the rainforest, the best place to go snorkeling, and the best […] places to eat. If you want a tourist feeling, American fast food, or resorts, this is not what you're looking for. The Inn is beautiful and located across the road from La Pared, a surfer's beach that is great for watching the local teens surf and play in the waves. Many authentic restaurants and bars within walking distance. The hotel feels safe, even though you […] can see dilapidated buildings close by (you see this everywhere in Puerto Rico) We wanted a budget hotel and we got much more. The front desk gave us a detailed map of places to eat, a map of El Yunque, and a description of area beaches,. Excellent service- breakfast is included. The beds are so-so, and the pillows are hard and flat, but fine for 4 nights. All rooms have a balcony that faces the ocean. Can rent snorkel/surf gear from desk. Rentals are safe behind a locked parking lot. When we visited Fajardo, I was happy we stayed in Luquillo- in Fajardo, the only way to tell I wasn't in Florida was the Spanish and crazy driving. In Luquillo, you'll get a taste of local culture, nice and friendly people, a beautiful beachside stay, and it's a very short drive to El Yunque and all the tours in Fajardo. Easy to find. Note- don't turn at the first sign for 193- if you're not at a stop light when you turn onto 193, keep going. Read more

The Kioskos (food kiosks) just one offramp away on the freeway offer every kind of food you could want. The neighbourhood is mixed like everywhere in Puerto Rico: pretty little houses and big apartment buildings mixed with ill kept buildings. That is just Puerto Rico. If you are looking for a luxurious hotel separated from where people live, this is not for you. The rooms were very nice, comfortable with a balcony and a great view. It is located in an area that locals use to surf and swim. There were far fewer tourists than natives. I think the reviewers who did not like the area were looking for a resort apart from […] natives; not a bed and breakfast among the natives. In addition it seemed to us that wealth and poverty were much closer together than what we were used to seeing. It surprised us to see some very nice houses next to very dilapidated ones. The location was great, closed to the bio phosphoresce bay, El Yunke and near two of the better beaches in Puerto Rico while only 40 minutes from San Juan. There are many activities and an opportunity to just stay on the beach or swim on the protected beach 3 or 4 blocks to the left. There was not much of a night life in walking distant, but enough, at least for us, some music, some restaurants, a bar with bar food. Read more

What a beautiful and restful oasis this is! The staff was helpful and friendly. The Inn is small enough to give guests a 'feeling of home'. Good places to eat are walking distance. This is where to go to escape traffic, noise, and the hectic life. The water is just across the quiet street.

So, getting to the bed n breakfast is a bit traumatic because the neighborhood is bad. Having said that, the staff is very nice and do everything they can to accommodate you including getting you ferry tickets to Culebra, Sherri is great, thank you. The bed n breakfast in general is good and would be better in a different location but the neighborhood […] is bad. The rooms are small but clean, no fridge, balcony with ocean view and sound of waves is nice. You can see the sun rise. The beds are terrible, like sleeping on box springs. We did not sleep a wink, very uncomfortable. Might as well have been on the floor. The bed n breakfast is located near several nice beaches, however the beach right in front of it is not suitable for swimming. There are poor homeless doggies roaming around looking for food, heartbreaking. Some rif raf walking around. I would say it's so so to walk around near the hotel and beach during the day (but not for a woman alone), once it gets dark its time to go in, I would not walk around or be out after dark. I would not recommend for families. We booked two nights but only stayed one. We were very disappointed mainly because of the hard terrible bed and also the bad neighborhood. We would have possibly overlooked some of this and drove to one of the nice beaches near by if the beds were comfortable but they were not and we could not stay another night. Read more

We flew into San Juan, rented a car, and in about an hour we arrived at this small, spotless inn with friendly and helpful staff. A full moon rising over the beach confirmed it was worth the drive in the dark after a long travel day. Our room was an upstairs "deluxe" room with a good-sized balcony overlooking a "surfer" beach, so we left the sliding […] door open and fell asleep to the sound of waves. The bed and bathroom (shower only) were fine, there was a refrigerator, ceiling fan, and breeze. The lack of a poolwas not a problem because there's a variety of beaches with turquoise waters within walking distance. The breakfast was delicious with fruit, breads, good coffee, and a cooked to order hot choice as well. And best of all, the staff were all exceptional and helpful. It is a "green"hotel and a pleasant, not fancy, place to stay. We'd recommend it highly. Read more

We went to Luquillo at the start of our first visit to PR. The easy way to Luquillo from airport is probably Rt. 22, Not Rt. 2 with many stoplights. Our room looked out on the ocean, very pleasant and very clean. Staff helpful and attentive. Nice, fresh-cooked breakfast at long tables to share with other guests. My new husband and I had such a wonderful time staying here. It was easy to get to, right on the beach and secure. It was simple in decoration and amenities but right up our ally. Very clean rooms and friendly workers who spoke very good English. The breakfast was great and the same everyday. Very relaxed atmosphere would put anyone in a good mood. […] Some others reviewed this place as poor and nothing to do in the surrounding area, but in reality with a rental car this place is perfect. Most days we were the only tourists on the adjacent beach 50 yards from the hotel. The rain forest is about 10-15 minuets away with TONS of stuff to do and see there.
