"Good deal for the price"Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on May 5, 2012
The room was a little small but had twin beds, desk, chair, closet, and luggage stand. The windows opened and there was a fan available in the room if needed. Good cafes in the neighborhood. Metro station very close. We would use this hotel again.
"Five star experience"Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on May 5, 2012
This was our second stay at Hotel de Vendome and it topped the excellent experience that we enjoyed in November 2010. We were upgraded to a corner deluxe suite for an anniversary trip and welcomed with red rose petals in the room. Every detail of the hotel is first class with a very warm and friendly staff. Breakfast in the room every morning was a luxury followed by a walk in the Tuileries just a block from the hotel. If you're looking for the ultimate elegant boutique Parisian hotel, then you'll find it here. We'll be coming back to this one again. Bon voyage.

Good service and a decent area, very convinent location with a market of all food and goods! 2 mins walk from metro! Just a little far from center paris! Good service and polite reception!
"Good for families, if you don't mind some walking."Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on May 5, 2012
Other than being a tad far from a metro station, the location was perfect - several grocery stores within easy reach, not to mention the Eiffel Tower. The front desk staff was uniformly nice and helpful. Cleanliness was OK, things a bit worn, no maid service other than once a week. I might choose someplace else for a grown-up getaway but it was perfect for our family with young children, especially to have a kitchen.

A desirable residential area, the 17th ‘arrondissement’ is north of Place de l’Etoile (the star-shaped roundabout at the Arc de Triomphe) with easy access to the suburbs of La Défense and Neuilly-sur-Seine. Parc Monceau is an oasis of English landscaping on its southern edge. The working-class neighbourhood of Les Batignolles lies to the east.

This quaint hotel near the Palais de Congress is situated close to the metro line 1 and C making travel to all the nearby tourist sites easily accessible. It is reasonably priced and the staff are superb. The rooms are small but well decorated and fully equipped. Perfect for the amount of time we spent in the room. We loved staying there and would definitely […] recommend it to anyone. We will consider returning on our next trip to Paris. Read more

Rooms too small, service is good but breakfast and bar too expensive.
"Small, but Trendy and Cozy"
This is the second time I have stayed here due to convenience of the location to my client's offices and a variety of restaurants nearby. The hotel is super clean, modern, and has a very Parisian feel... maybe a bit girlie since the decor is mostly black with pink & purple, but definitely NOT tacky. It has a very nice breakfasst area with a self-service […] bar, nespresso machines in every room, a small but convenient gym with a steam room and sauna!! That was a big plus for me, as it's rare in the small boutique hotels. Will likely stay here again because it's hard to find something else with a gym/sauna for the same price. The only negative is a relatively slow wifi connection in the rooms (but it's also included in the room price), so it's not ideal for voice calls, but entirely OK for emails. Read more
"Super Cute!"
Pros: Gym & Sauna, Nespresso machines in every room (included), nice breakfast, clean, friendly staff, tres chic :) Cons: Bathtub/shower door not sealed correctly, letting water leak to the floor
"A great place to stay in Paris"
This hotel is perfect for a stay in Paris. A short 10 minute walk to the Arc D' Triumph and a 3 minute walk to the 1 metro line, you can get to all the major sites easily. Although a little small, our room was very clean, well appointed, comfortable, and quiet - we couldnt hear any other guests banging around as you often do when in a hotel. The only […] minor suggestions I would make - please have a clock in the room, and perhaps 1 English language movie channel available on the TV. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone and I would definitely stay there again. Read more
"Well-placed, well done"
We spent Christmas in Paris and planned on walking around a lot. Although Port Maillot itself isn't the most interesting area, it's a great launching point toward the Champs Elysees and the rest of Paris. The hotel was easy to find and right across the street from the Port Maillot stop on the Air France bus line. Can't beat the convenience as there […] are also multiple metro and RER stops nearby. The room was excellent and large by Paris standards. My only complaint was the shower which was stylistically beautiful but practically flawed as water ended up everywhere in the bathroom. Overall, Les Jardins de la Villa was a great experience and I'd recommend it. Read more

Very nice hotel with friendly, helpful staff. The rooms were great, but the best part was the bathrooms. We stayed in two separate rooms, and both bathrooms were huge and extremely nice.

Very professional and exactly what we expected.
"Great boutique hotel"
The hotel has excellent decor in the lobby. Only 4 rooms per floor, it has fantastic beds, good soundproofing, nice bathrooms with rain shower, overall a great hotel. 15 minutes walk to the Arch and the metro, restaurants everywhere, would definitely stay here again.
"Chic Boutique"
This hotel is a gem! If you like modern surroundings you can't go wrong with this hotel. Located near the metro and one of the best patisseries in Paris you will be very pleased with your selection. The staff are knowledgeable and at your service-take them up on their recommendations.
"great room, great service"
all the comforts, very quiet, black out curtains, very helpful service.
"Beautiful boutique hotel"
This hotel was a great pick for our first trip to Paris. The service was EXCELLENT!!! The staff were accomodating on every level. My only complaint would be the disfuctional shower stalls. While very modern and appealing to the eye, we flooded our floor every day with the half glass door that didn't seal onto the tub. The sleep number beds that were […] advertised were also not available. The bed was comfortable however. We did not eat breakfast at the hotel as the price was beyond expensive. There were many options within a 5 minute walk so it was not an issue. I would recommend this hotel, or stay again. Read more
"The best part of Paris was this Hotel!"
We would give this hotel the best rating possible. It was relatively expensive but worth it. Located on a quiet side street, it was within walking distance of the Arc d'T. and metro station, with some restaurants close by. The rooms had character with designer touches without getting too 'crazy' into themed rooms or other such nonsense, typical of some […] boutiques. It was spotlessly clean, with many small details that were nice to have included. Noise from other rooms was never a problem. The continental breakfast was very good and reasonable in the context of Paris prices. Expresso machines and things to make tea/other hot drinks were always availabe in the restaurant area. In addition, a unique 'honor bar' was there, where guests could make mixed cocktails or enjoy wine/snacks and simply fill out a card listing your purchases, trusting you to be honest. Stephane, the front office manager, was charming and so helpful; he made us feel as if we had made a new friend in Paris. (Stephane, we hope you had a nice holiday at the English shore!) This hotel is a true gem (ask for room #20!) and it was a total pleasure to spend our stay there. Read more

"Paris in the Spring"
Great boutique hotel. The service was excellent. Loved the garden area and the honor system bar. Very cozy, like home. We liked the neighborhood feel (the hotel is located on a small side street) with cafes near by and close to the metro. Not far from the Champs-Elysees for shopping and some night life. We would recommend this property and stay here […] again. Read more
"A great little gem in Paris"
We spent the last 3 nights of our 6 night stay in Paris and wish we had stayed here the whole time. This intimate and charming hotel exceeded our expectations by being exactly what is portrayed on the web sites and reviews. The hotel itself is a reasonable walk to most of the more famous sites in Paris and there is a metro/RER stop within 2 blocks. […] The rooms are adorable and well maintained. The in-room professional coffee maker was a very nice touch as well! Friendly and helpful staff were icing on the cake. We will definitely be back! Read more
"Very Posh Boutique Hotel"
The hotel and staff were very nice. The concierge was very helpful. They had just implemented some new system and our TV did not work, but I certainly was not in Paris to watch tv, so I did not really care. They offerred to change rooms, but we did not take them up on this offer. The rooms were nice, but very small. You have your very own espresso machine […] in the room, turn down service with chocolates and honor bar system downstairs. Also had a workout faciilty and sauna (both of which went unused by us, but they appeared to be nice.). I would definitely stay there again. Very close to Arc De Triomphe, lots of restaurants and shopping. Read more
"Loved this hotel"
I cannot say enough good things about this small , sophisticated boutique hotel. The location was convenient. The staff were kind and very attentive. We enjoyed all aspects of the hotel. It was quiet , modern and extremely comfortable. We will make this a stop every time we are in Paris.
"Room is small but nice somewhat lacking amenities"
Overall a fine hotel though I expected more for what I paid for. Nice and clean nevertheless.
"Great Hotel"
My wife and I recently stayed at this hotel. It being our second time in Paris, we had an expectation of what the room would be like and this place exceeded that. Great local restaurants in the area, a shopping mall (that isn't crowded) across the street. Location was close to the metro. We plan on staying here again, when we visit Paris on our next […] trip. Cutest hotel in Paris, rooms a bit small but very comfortable. The employees are very friendly and polite, and the ambiance was lovely. We were very pleased with the overall experience, and would stay again.
"Great hotel, just a few issues with housekeeping"
Les Jardins is a very nice boutique hotel--a little unusual in the decor but still very comfortable. The location was great for me--quiet but convenient. My only issue was with housekeeping. They were not respectful of the "Privacy" sign and would knock or call or even walk in to service the room. I did mention this to the management upon check-out, […] and they were concerned and apologetic. Hopefully, they'll figure it out for future guests. Read more
"Stay in comfort without breaking the bank"
Quaint little hotel with nice comfortable room sufficiently equipped with amenities and facilities. Once you get your bearing rights, you will find that its quite easy to get around via the tubes , metro, etc. Hotel rooms are equipped with plush beddingds and pillow to ensure good night sleep. Surroundings are pretty noise free but be prepared to fork […] out decent amount of money at the surrounding restaurents. The hotel is near to tourist attractions (Lourve, EIffel Tower, shopping, etc) by tube. All within 10-15min travel time. Overall, its a pleasant stay and will probably stay here again. Read more

the hotel was great! the room was clean, the shower was amazing - i want one at home... great bad, the stuff was very nice and help us every time we needed. close to a metro (4 min walk)
"Will definitely stay here again!!!!"
My husband and I had a very memorable and comfortable stay at Les Jardins dela Villas. The location was right in the heart of Paris. The hotel is very modern and chic, and very, very clean! We especially loved the personal touch of giving us a list of reminders of things to do, the weather forecast for the next day, the pillow mist to make our sleep […] even more relaxing and the midnight chocolate snack! We found this hotel via Tripadvisor and this is our second stay within the last 6 months - so we obviously like it! Good points - its small, quiet and classy. Its in a nice safe neighbourhood with a selection of bars and restaurants close by. Less good points - its a little far away from the centre of Paris (but is close to a Metro station); the breakfast […] cost seems extortionate but we have never tasted it - just walk down the Avenue De Ternes to one of the fantastic artisan bakers and treat yourself for a fraction of the price. "Excellent Value for a Parisian Boutique Hotel"
Recently stayed 8 nights at this hotel and it is a gem within a big city if you are after a small boutique styled accommodation. Close to Metro/RER and easy to catch a Taxi from the neighboring Le Meridien. Loads of good restaurants nearby mean you never get hungry finding quality french food nor needing to pay for hotel breakfast. We stayed in a junior […] suite which was sufficient for our vacation, free wifi was good and they even provided an evening turndown which was appreciated. TV channels in English were limited to News but the free movies compensated the list. In room Nepresso espresso machine provides a good caffeine fix when you need it. Little attention needed or reminded are: they don't seem to replenish the complimentary SINGLE water when it is opened for a few days, water is dripping out of the shower doors because of the flat floor design and remote control of TV is not very responsive. Staff are very polite, all spoke good English and very helpful with requests. Good choice! Read more

Travelling to Paris every week for work reasons, I have to say I was very positively surprised by this nice little hotel. From the outside you would not expect such a nice hotel inside. "Les Jardins De La Villa-cosy and well appointed"
This hotel is perfect for a weekend getaway. It is far enough away from the tourist districts, yet close enough to the Arc de Triumph to make your stay pleasurable. The rooms, although on the smaller side, are very well appointed and the care and detail that goes into the rooms and the service far outweigh this. Perfectly private, perfectly positioned, […] perfectly appointed. Read more

I cannot reccomend this hotel enough. I spent a long time researching hotels as the reviews for Paris Hotels were very poor. The Hotel was very clean and comfortable. Chocolates to the room every evening and the staff were so friendly. The Hotel is located a 2 minute walk from the metro, and it is also easy to walk to alot of the tourist spots. Lots […] of lovely restaurants and cafes in and around the hotel. The Air France shuttle from the airport drops off and collects from across the roadl. The best compliment i could give this Hotel is that i would stay here on my next visit. Loved it. Read more
"Les Jardins De La Villa in Paris"
Overall it is a very nice hotel and will definitely come back on our next trip to Paris. Apart from Metro, we strongly recommend taking buses to the following attractions from this hotel as the bus stop pretty close e.g. Tour Eiffel (bus 82), Arc de Triomphe/Champ Elysees (bus 73), Printemps (bus 43) etc. If you are traveling from CDG, the Les car […] Air France stop is just round the corner ~5mins walk i.e. opposite to the Le Meridien hotel. If you are traveling from Gare du Nord/Eurostar, you may take bus 43 to avoid carrying your heavy luggages up and down the stairscase if you choose to take RER/metro. There is a big supermarket in Palais des Congres (5 mins walk from hotel). Paul - the bakery - is right next to it and you could have breakfast. Read more
"Hotel "Les Jardins De La Villa" - quiet & quaint"
Small (this is Paris so to be expected) well appointed room, good size modern bathroom. Out of the hustle and bustle of the Champs Elyse but close enough by either Metro or short taxi ride. Concierge service was very helpful. Some very good local French food (non tourist traps) in easy walking distance.
"De La Villa"
Nice hotel - helpful staff. Great location - 1 Block to the Metro (subway), good resturants within a block, 200 yrds to catch a bus to the airport $15e p/p. Breakfast is very expensive - skip it or eat lots!!

"Le Jardins de la Villa - welcome to Paris"
We chose this hotel as it was our first time in Paris (and our one year anniversary) and we wanted a spot that was close to the tourist highlights (the Arc de Triomph is a 10 minute walk away) but also conveyed a sense of the "real" city for us to celebrate. The location turned out to be a bit far after 10 hours of walking around but considering that […] it was within 2 minutes of the nearest metro, it was easy to get around once we had our bearings. Most people/taxies did not recognise the name of the hotel or street so we had to specify the name of the metro station (Porte Maillot) instead. The majority of the staff were very helpful and friendly (especially the porter who helped us with our luggage on arrival) apart from one waiter who was obnoxious (just plain rude on our very first morning!) and as a result, we did not have breakfast at the hotel for the rest of our week there. The room was small when compared to other hotels for a similar price but this was not a problem as most of our time was spent in the city-a good thing since the only view we had was of the laundry and rubbish collection area of a neighbouring hotel. The bathroom was a lovely size and the shower was among the best we have experienced. All in all, a beautiful hotel and a lovely holiday - would stay there again given the option. Read more

"Les Jardin de la villa, Paris"
Stylish hotel with all the right ingredients. Elegant rooms, well-equipped, nice spa, perfect fitness and a breakfast with a lot of taylor-made details. A crew devoted to the task of taking care for their guests, friendly and helpful (especially the German maitre at the reception). Been to a lot of hotels in Paris, this is the best.

"Les Jardins - Gorgeous hotel for reasonable money"
Just around the corner from the L'arc de Triomphe and Champs Elysses thsi gorgeous little boutique hotel charmed my husband & I with it's funky decor, attention to detail, big, comfy bed, large bathroom, mini-spa & a very welcome Honesty Bar. On the plus sides: - the staff were very helpful. - the basic (bread in a basket & unlimited - juice/coffee/tea) […] breakfast was generous & at 7€ reasonably priced. - Tea & coffee was free at any point in the day - the lounge area offers free internet access - the sauna was a lovely treat at the end of a days sightseeing - the hotel is very near a Metro & RER train station - it's quiet at night - you are a 10 minute walk from the L'arc de Triomphe On the negative: - The staff spent ages messing around with our tv trying to get it to work & in 2 nights didn't manage to sort it out - it's not located in a very atmospheric part of Paris - there aren't too many cafes/restaurants to choose from at night, although there are plenty just a stop or two along the Metro - there are no views from the windows as the area is in quite a built up district I would definitely recommend Les Jardins des Villa for a romantic retreat, it's in a very convenient spot, but away from the hustle & bustle.
Read more
"Parfait"
Excellentes prestations pour cet hôtel. Ambiance zen, feutrée. L'espace spa, sans être grand, est tout à fait agréable. A recommander.
