Stayed 2 nights here in April. Great place, well appointed. Good food, within walking distance of everything. Valeted the car and never used it again until we left. We arrived at our hotel around 11:00 PM and were greeted by the staff in a very friendly member manner. We were given Room 210 in Tower One and took the elevator to the second floor. You get a hotel on the beach to see, hear and smell the beach... well we could smell it. The view was partially obstructed by a maintenance patio of sorts, with a built […] up awning to hide the area from people on the ground. It contained a drain, a satellite dish and lots of trash. Not a beach view. All we could hear was sound of machinery whirring in the background. I turned off the room AC to see if I cold pinpoint the noise, but I could not. The noise was constant and annoying. The next morning we discovered it was the pumping station for the pool house and it was just a stones throw from the room. We could NOT take a bath the next morning. The tub contained a series of cracks that ran from the middle bottom of the tub down to the drain. The tub was not clean and the cracks were... ewww. Upon leaving the attendant at the counter barely gave us a nod. Nothing about "How was your room?" or "How was your stay?" Just a smile and bye. Another person was cleaning the counter and a manager was giving them what for. Something about drying the surface immediately after it is cleaned. She did not even make eye contact. She noticed we were there... but acknowledging our presence would have interrupted her berating some underling like an official administering a public flogging. Read more

Overall the rooms were comfortable and clean and location was great, that's were it ended. First day our door would not lock they finally said we would change rooms after 3 phone calls and an hour wait they still had not moved us, I had to go down to the desk and take care of it, it was very late and kids were tired. When we did move to another room […] the bathroom light was out, had to call maintenance again. On third day our room keys did not work at all, again had to go down and take care of it. I booked a room for 5 people my room was not adequately prepared. I had to call for sheets for the pull out bed, which was smaller than advertised, and had to call for towels because there were only 3. The bed was comfortable and, except for the long hair in the bathtub that did not belong to any of us, the room was pretty clean.

The location was great, the beach was beautiful and hotel itself was so pretty and had lots of amenities...and the staff couldn't have been more helpful...they were awesome! I loved that there was an indoor pool. When we visited it was quite cold and couldn't use the outdoor pools (which was disappointing because they were beautiful) or swim in the […] ocean, so my kids really enjoyed still being able to swim. The ONLY complaint I have is that there were 5 of us and only two towels in the bathroom. So if you have more than 2 people you'll need to ask for more towels. Read more

Staying at this hotel was great at first. Then my husband and I had a rude awakening when we realized that breakfast was not included, rather it was really expensive for buffet breakfast. Then ordering room service breakfast was no better, and we were overcharged for our meal choices. Finally, while we were out to lunch I called for our room to be cleaned […] because we had the do not disturb sign up in the morning. We got back two hours later and our room had not been cleaned. The cleaning lady was right there and asked us if we had called for service, then went in our room and started cleaning. It was so awkward. I asked her to get the breakfast tray, and we left for a bit to let her clean. Then we came back and the breakfast tray was still there. I must say as overly impressed as I was at how flawless and professional the race went, I was just as impressed with the hotel and staff. Everyone was very nice and helpful no matter what question we had. The hotel was great and the rooms nice size. The beds were very comfortable. The breakfast buffet was good but a little pricey. The only trouble I had was with the pay per day internet service that the desk could not find the code book so we could use more than one device. There is no excuse for not including this in the price of the room.

The location of the hotel is good right on the side of the road. The room is quiet and clean overall. What made us unhappy is the towels in the bathroom. They are old and not absorbent any more. The white towels don't even look white kind of dirty looking.

As soon as you walk in room just pass hanging closet and ironing board area there is spider webs in the corner not up top but mid ways up but we killed the spider also Jacuzzi tub water line handle is loose that was my main concerns but I didn't complain because it was me and my wifes 12th anniversary so I didn't want to ruin that....

Three problems with this hotel. I stayed there for five days and the entire time I was there only one of the two elevators was working. This was frustrating for all guests. The second problem occurred with the room cleaning service. The toiletries were only replaced one time during my entire stay. Finally, the only restaraunt available for dinner is sushi and room service is so expensive that it might be easier for someone just to skip dinner. I am a local and visit the beach for a fun weekend away. For years the Hilton has been the premier hotel on Pensacola Beach. Recently however it was a great missed opportunity. At check-in there was no bellman available, one of the two floors of the parking structure was closed making the guests circle the lot waiting for a space to open. When I requested […] a room away from the elevator the reception desk said that the hotel was busy but my room "shouldn't be too bad." The balcony which was the selling point of the room was obstructed by the main building structure and the window air conditioner was loud. There was toothpaste caked on the doorknob and the bathtub has rust stains. The doors were cracked and the furniture was old and worn. The restaurant has extraordinary food but the staff is polite yet clueless. Even when there are plenty of open tables you must give your name and wait to be seated. At one lunch when we wanted to be seated outside, the hostess asked us if there was an open table and if it had silverware on it. The beautiful glass chandeliers havn't been cleaned in at least six months. They are covered with dust. The breakfast buffet was near empty regardless of the time of day that we came. The gift shop was unstaffed. Overall two star service at a four star hotel. I have never written a bad review on any place that I have visited, but honestly hope that Management will see this and make an effort to restore this once beautiful hotel. Read more

The Hilton Pensacola Beach was great as a hilton always is. The location could not have been better. We had an 18 month old with us, and were very comfortable having him here. The room by far the worst one we have stayed in for years. The walls had holes in them; black stains were all over them. The bath tub would not empty out. This is the sort of motel I stayed in during my college years!
