The Gorman Clifftop House is situated, as the name implies, adjacent to a cliff overlooking the Dingle Peninsula's Three Sisters and the Atlantic Ocean. The views are spectacular, and the hiking, cycling and running routes are perfect. Inside, the hospitality is beyond compare. Breakfasts are hearty and healthy, and the varied menu will please every […] taste. The dinner menu includes comfort food like lamb stew and tagliatelle bolognese, along with a luscious seafood trio and lovely steak offering. The rooms are comfortable, clean and very nicely appointed, and the staff is helpful in every way. The lounge area is stocked with games and quiet nooks for reading or resting. Oh, and Molly, the inn's resident yellow lab, is lots of fun and loves to play! We can't wait for the opportunity to visit Ireland again, and The Gorman Clifftop House will be our destination for sure. Read more

This Bed and Breakfast (plus dinner) was the perfect place for my family and I, but it's also perfect for a romantic getaway. It was about a 20 minute drive from Dingle, driving slowly because of the narrow roads, but very scenic. It's along the Slea Head loop, which has scenic views of the ocean. The B&B is large enough to accommodate several guests, […] but small enough to have that B&B feel. Breakfast and dinner were delicious. Upon request, they will make a take away lunch, too. At night, they'll serve after dinner cocktails, but there are also a few pubs not too far away (and there's always Dingle). We stayed in, had cocktails and played scrabble. Even though the location is remote, I highly recommend it. It's worth the drive. Read more

Driving out to the hotel we caught the view of the sea from the car and when we pulled up to the hotel we realized that we made the right choice. We arrived about 30 minutes before sunset, so after we petted the yellow lab that greeted us outside, we dropped off our bags and went straight to the dining room that overlooked the sea and watched the sun […] go down. The view was amazing and the excellent dinner was a bonus! The room was nice and cozy with a very comfortable bed. The owners were so friendly and accommodating (even after we forgot to let them know about our early check out and woke them up). We would have stayed another day or two if our next hotel would have given us a refund. A 10 minute drive from the lovely town of Dingle, but perfectly isolated enough for a great Irish seaside experience. Read more

While the drive was long to arrive @ Gorman's, it was well worth it. The views from this incredible location provides a sunset across the Atlantic that can be seen from a gracious and comfortable dining area with full windows or outside in comfortable garden chairs. The food was incredible and the staff were very helpful, friendly, and accomodating. […] Coming from California where we have our own breathtaking views and gorgeous sunsets, I would still return to Gorman Cliff House to view the close of a day from the "Edge of the World." We had a lovely short break here. We ate two nights in the restaurant and the food was wonderful with a fantastic view over the sea. The rooms are high standard, and the breakfast is great. We enjoyed a clifftop walk which is just outside the door. It is easy to tour all the sights of the Dingle peninsula - Slea Head drive, Blasket Island visitor centre […] and the Gallarus Oratory all well worth seeing. From our warm welcome with afternoon tea on our arrival to the time of our departure four days later, nothing was too much trouble for Sile and her friendly team. We had booked a double room with a cliff top view and the room exceeded our expectations being of a very generous size, well equipped and spotlessly clean. We elected to eat in the restaurant […] on our first and last evenings and we were not disappointed as the food, wine, service and the outlook from all the tables were all superb and represented good value for money. When seeking advise about the area, all members of staff were extremely helpful and Sile was more than happy to advise on the choice of restaurant in nearby Dingle where we wanted to eat and enjoy an evening of traditional music. This hotel has my highest recommendation in every respect. Read more
