Overall, I was pleased with the stay. The room was clean, though I thought the twin beds were short (and I'm just over 5 feet tall). This may be typical of South America, but I'm not sure. I had a window over the entrance of the hotel, and there was a lot of noise from workers or people outside starting around 6 am. This may be the hotel construction workers, but it wasn't the best way to wake up during my vacation. My only other critique was poor lighting in the room. The bathroom had poor lighting over the only mirror in the room, and the main part of the room was lit with a bunch of small lamps. I had to turn on 4 lamps to have enough light to sort through my suitcase or read. I didn't see the other hotel rooms in the area, but I thought the room was overpriced for what it was. The lobby, exterior and pool area were all very nice, but the room didn't match up to the same level.

Nice layout and pool. Service was basic but friendly. The food was a bit dissapointing and the room could have been furnished better. Great environment in the jungle with buldings connected by boardwalks.

We loved staying here. The ladies are nice and helpful (one even speaks pretty good English). The breakfast is great. The rooms aren't fancy but are nice, clean and comfortable. It's a short walk to many restaurants and the bus stop.

All was well but for the fact that the local staff spoke very little English. The town shuts down by 8 PM so plan all meals if outside by 8 PM. Call the... hotel before and arrange for private car with English speaking guide to enjoy your stay.Overall hotel is very good and clean. Peca um transfer do hotel se chegar pelo aeroporto de Foz, para evitar extorsoes mesmo para brasileiros. Hotel muito tranquilo, atendentes sempre dispostos a ajudar e falam/entedem portugues claramente. Restaurante excelente com pratos elaborados e saborosos, a precos baixissimos. O cassino eh pequeno e com muito cheiro de fumaca dos fumantes. Taxi […] para o centro de Ciudad del Leste saem por 7usd. Excelente massagem no SPA, piscina com agua na temperatura certa, e academia razoavel para hoteis. Sem duvida das cidades visitadas e da hospedagem, o Cassino Acaray foi o melhor. Realmente lá podemos curtir e descansar bem. Apenas num cafe da manhã, observamos uma má qualidade nos paes e bolos servidos, pareciam estar passados. O resto foi tudo muito bom.
