Very couteous staff, breakfast is outstanding, room views are perfect. For the money it is the best value I get in all of Europe. I would highly recommend staying here whether you fly into either airport in Istanbul.

We checked in late night coming from Zurich and we were welcomed by Ishmael and his assistant. Since we have our sleepy 3 year old daughter with us, he got us a family room right away and took care of our luggages and gave us 4 extra pillows. I asked for a bottle of wine to unwind and was told that they don't serve alcohol in the hotel but willing to go to the store for me. I told him it was not necessary. The service is superb from the front desk, housekeepers and to breakfast staff. The only thing missing is a lift to go to the rooftop for breakfast, otherwise it has great view.

Tulip House is close to Sokollu Mehmet Pasha Mosque, Hippodrome, and Blue Mosque. Also nearby are Grand Bazaar and Basilica Cistern.

My family have just had a wonder stay at Istanbul, dispite the heavy snow. The Hotel Tulip House is a nice B&B situated in the most convenience location within reach to the main attractions in the old town Sultanamet Blue Mosque, Hagia Sophia, Topkai Palace...etc. Although the rooms are a bit small, they are well maintained and clean. We werden erg gastvrij ontvangen, kregen info over bezienswaardigheden en restaurantjes. Prima 3-persoonskamer.( Er was een extra bed geplaatst) en alles was keurig verzorgd. Uitstekend Turks ontbijt met vers fruit enz. Wat nodig was in de kamer was er ook. Fijn centraal gelegen, nog geen 10 min. lopen van de Blauwe Moskee. The hotel was very close to center with nice cozy room and simple but good breakfast. The personnel were amazing and helpful.we even needed to leave at 6 in the morning they prepared breakfast at 6 am for us. We were extremely happy with service and great value for money.

Zuerst war ich geschockt von der Grösse des Zimmers, aber eigentlich braucht man nicht mehr wenn man einen Balkon hat. Die zentrale Lage ist sicher der grösste Vorteil des Tulip House. Es werden zwar viele neue Hotels in der Nachbarschaft gebaut, aber keines mit einem Balkon zum Marmara Meer. ... und mal ehrlich, gibt es etwas schöneres als abends auf […] dem Balkon mit einem Absacker den Tag ausklingen zu lassen ? Die beiden Jungs, die das Hotel leiten sind Klasse ! stets freundlich und mit tollen Ausflugideen. Also insgesamt absolut weiterzuempfehlen ... Ach ja, mitten in Sultanahmet heisst auch in unmittelbarer Nähe zu den vielen Moscheen von denen aus ab 4.30 Uhr morgens wird zum Gebet gerufen wird -> also Ohrstöpsel mitnehmen ! Read more
