      Like most Windsor the staff are great, friendly, and helpful. Most speak English. The breakfast buffet has a good variety of food but it's certainly not at the level of Windsor Atlantica. The rooms are a bit dated but clean and they're certainly better than other 3.5 star hotels in the area. On the other hand, the bathrooms are rather spacious. It's in a good location right on the border of Copacabana and Leme, though not facing the beach it's about a 5 min walk. I prefer Windsor Atlantica, but this is a great alternative to the 4 and 5 star hotels if you want to save a bit of money.

      Pros: Excellent Front Desk Staff. They all courteous, speak english and very helpful to your needs. Room service is great. Unless there are people ahead of you for service Good value for money. Good Amentities. Cons: Breakfast buffet is okay little expensive Room service menu is strictly ok. compared to hotels in US. Location is strictly ok. There is a shop opp the hotel but no restaurants,pharmacy, convienence store etc close by. It isn't a happening neighouborhood. It's kind of far from the Mall and other parts of the city.

    Rio is a very large city. Taking buses is a bit of hit and miss but it is do-able The taxis are much better and fairly cheap to use. There are good bars... and restaurants to eat at just around the corner. We felt safe walking around even at night. The hotel staff were very pleasant and did speak english which was very helpful.     This ws my 3rd time in Rio, so being in a new area to me was more important than convenient access to the sights of usual interest to the 1st time visitor. Sta.     We stayed here for 2 nights in June 2011 and the villa is gorgeous, beautiful ornate French decor and a lovely pool and breakfast area. The staff, Sergio and Regina were lovely and very helpful. The breakfast was also very tasty and the pool area was fabulous. The Villa was close to a nearby bar in Santa Teresa and not too far from the main restaurant, […] bar and bonde area. My only criticism was that our bed was extremely noisy- if one of us moved an inch in the night it would squeak horrendously and wake the other up. If this could be addressed this would be 5 star for the price paid. I would definitely stay here again, we stayed in another place in Rio and this was far better, if we'd known it was so nice we'd have stayed there for longer. My advice is to book now! Read more
