This was a great stay. The room was huge and comfortable with a nice canopy bed, plenty of storage, and a nice TV. View was amazing as we could see the ocean from our 3rd floor room. The bathroom was very large with a giant tub that easily fit 2. The shower was lovely and a nice size, though the water pressure could of been a bit better. The location of this hotel was perfect. We came in at Edinburgh Waverly and several buses (5, 44, 113, 24X) all stop RIGHT in front of the hotel. There is an ASDA (walmart super store) with a wonderful breakfast cafe about 10 minutes walk. Porto Bella is about 15 minutes away which is a gorgeous little beach front area with an amazing cafe in the swim center that makes homemade food. The bus will get you into Edinburgh in about 30-45 minutes. Edinburgh castle, Arthur's seat, the Parliament, etc is all there. One of the best hotels I have stayed in at a great price. The Bistro, Bar and Restaurant downstairs were good but very expensive.

This turned out to be better than we really expected, but this guest house was very well kept an the host and hostess made their best to make us feel at home. Which we did. Except for the double bed which was a bit too hard for my liking. The surroundings were nice too, central but quiet. Going back, we would definitely consider staying here again.

Beautiful, welcoming, friendly and quiet B&B very close to the heart of Edinburgh. Only a short walk from Waverley Station (about 15 minutes with a case) Adria House is situated on the Royal Terrace with Calton Hill behind and Royal Terrace Gardens in front. Within walking distance of most of Edinburgh's attractions. Edinburgh Playhouse is just round […] the corner - often with productions straight from the West End. Edward and Maria are superb hosts who take time to make their guests feel at home. In my opinion you will not find a better B&B in Edinburgh. An absolute gem! Read more

We were looking for accommodation close to the Playhouse theatre but in a quiet area. Adria House fitted the bill. We couldn't fault the hotel at all. Edward and Maria were the perfect hosts with a level of service rarely seen nowadays. We recommend it highly and we look forward to staying there again on our next visit to Edinburgh.

très bon accueil. Maria nous a expliqué sur un plan ce qu'il fallait voir à Edimbourg. A 15 minutes à pied du centre ville. A 15 minutes à pied d'un point de vue fantastique sur toute la ville, à ne surtout pas rater !!
