The hotel is as central as it can get. Perfect if you arrive by aerobus late in the evening. The room is nice and clean. The breakfast is excellent.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
Perfect location, OK breakfast and nice rooms. Only thing to complain about was that the windows were not isolated, at all, it seemed.Genuine Hotels.com guest review

The Gat Rossio hotel in Lisbon is the place to be. The rooms are a little bit small, but it has everything a hotelroom needs. The only thing that i missed was outlets. There were only 2 outlets in the entire room. But everything else was perfect. It was clean and modern. The price is also an advantage. Breakfast was really good. It had pastel de nata, toast, fresh juice, bread, fresh yoghurt... You can even eat outside! The staff was also very friendly! This hotel has one of the best locations in Lisbon. Every important place is nearby. The metrostation and trainstation are just around the corner. The airport is 30min away (by bus or metro). I definitely recommend this hotel!

Well, this hotel is expensive for the standard it offers. The rooms are small, although we got a junior suite which is bigger (about 20 sq.m., 120 E per night). There is no drinking water provided in the room and we got only one tiny shampoo and one bathing gel for two persons. The shower area was too small for me to stand straight and there is no place to put your soap while in the shower. On the bright side, the wifi worked well, the breakfast was ok (cheese, cottage cheese, two kinds of ham, different kinds of bread, eggs, tea, coffee, juices). We had an excellent view from the 6th floor and it was really quiet. And the location is perfect. Close to everything. Nevertheless, for this kind of money I wouldn't recommend. Unless you want to spend there one night only.
"Suited us, but not for everyone"
Great location, cute fitout, but the building is old and the 'modern' looking elevator was broken a few times during our stay. No big deal for us as we are fit and can take the stairs, but we saw an elderly lady who had to be carried up the stairs and can imagine that this would not have been very fun for her. The rooms are tiny and the sink is in the room by the bed, not in the tiny bathroom. The storage space is pretty clever, but there is barely any space to move. The cute modern fitout barely hides the age of the very old building. For us this hotel was good value with yummy breakfast and an excellent location to explore Lisbon from, but it is not for everyone so think before you book.
"A very good hotel. Rooms on the small side"

This little design hotel is extremely well located. The hotel is very modern and well designed. The breakfast is very good and offers a good choice (freshly squeezed orange juice and pastel de nata are recommended). The rooms are quiet and well furbished, very clean and with good beds and air conditioning. The only drawback is that they are quite small. The bathroom sink area is especially tiny. The big plus are the two patios, perfect to rest after a day's walk or to have breakfast and the free WiFi (although coverage can be spotty in some areas of the rooms at the back of the hotel).
"Great Designerhotel with unfriendly staff"
I've been here on holiday (July 14) and enjoyed Lisbon while staying in the Gat Rossio. The Hotel is very designed and artsy, which was nice. The room had steep stairs that one would need to climb up to get to the bed, but I loved the interior and design. Also nice was the terrace to sit outside and the breakfast buffet. BUT, if you need Wifi desperately or for business purposes, there comes the disappointment: we were told Wifi would be repaired soon every day but it never worked around our room or anywhere for that matter. When we asked about a discount because we had clearly come to this hotel also because on the booking site it offered internet, they declined and told us, this was just an offer from the hotel. How rude?!! So, beds, breakfast and shower were also JUST an offer and we could be lucky to have a bed in our room.? Sounded like a unnecessary excuse to me and I would definitely give a discount if I had promised something that was clearly not happening.

Super location at the very center of the city in a pedestrian street at walking distance of almost everything. Rooms are modern/design, two very nice patios and breakfast is first class worth a 5 star (I liked especially the true fresh squeeze orange juice and pastel de Nata and the endless buffet). Personel is very efficient and of good advice for adresses and restaurant. A super boutique hotel.

I stayed here with my partner in a superior room and overall was impressed with the hotel. The room was very clean, well kept and tended to on a daily basis. Breakfast was buffet style and very nice with lots of choice. One gripe is that the back half of the hotel doesn't have wifi and the receptionist said it was a temporary fault and was in the process of being fixed but having read reviews which mentioned this same problem and excuse over the past couple of years this is an issue they have no intention of "fixing".

Very good hotel. The service is excellent. It's a kind of a Apple hotel with a minimalist design. The breakfast is very good You can book this hotel without any hesitation. The hotel is well located, near a metro and train station with a lots of restaurant around.

Funny hotel with very good filling breakfast, very nice reception, very helpful stuff, easily accessible (Rossio Metro 300 meters), restaurants just outside the door. Mattresses are not so great. Otherwise it's been a really nice stay.
