Lovely corner room with great view-off season so hotel was pretty quiet. everybody was so friendly and went the extra mile to make sure we were always well taken care of. the best breakfast i have had in Italy and dinner at the restaurant is SO delicious. A bit more expensive than in town restaurants but well worth it. Cant comment on the spa as we did not use the facilites. I would definitely stay here again if I return to Alghero!

Location of hotel is right across the street from the beach. The room had fridge, safe, desk, TV etc and was decent size. The breakfast was included and was satisfactory. You can walk to the port or the old town in about 10 minutes along a lovely walk next to the beach. I had no problem parking my car at the hotel. For the price, it is a great place to stay.

My wife and I stayed at the Hotel El Faro for five days on our vacation. the place is amazing and beautiful. The restaurant is first rate. If it was closer, I would go back every year.

Very pleased with out stay. It is a business type hotel, but the location is very convenient as it is right by the Old City where most of the action is. So much fun to walk around at night with restaurants, shops, etc. At 10:00 pm restaurants are totally busy. Had a problem with printing out our boarding passes with Ryanair (avoid them if you can) they nickle and dime you for everything. Previously, we were staying at a 5 star hotel and they were not helpful at all with our problem. Moved over to this hotel and Roberta at the front desk was so delightful and pleasant and and even called them for us using our cell phone as Ryanair even charges to call them! Being we don't speak Italian, she helped with our problem and printed out our passes for us. Something the other hotel was not interested in doing. An employee like Roberta, is a real asset. She was professional and willing to assist us with all our questions and needs. Our room was very comfortable and had a great view of the Old City, park and harbor. You could watch all the boats coming and going. They have a nice eating and drinking area on the top floor with amazing views. We went up their for drinks before dinner (Apertivo) and in the morning for their lovely breakfast. Great way to start the day. Don't hesitate to stay here as you will enjoy it.

The Angedras (whose name we had a hard time remembering until a cabbie pointed out that it's "Sardegna" spelled backwards) was a fine choice for an Oct wknd. Friendly, patient front desk staff. Comfortable bed. Ocean breezes. Spacious bathroom. A two-block walk to the water. Even English-language cable. Just two negatives: the breakfast was pretty thin, and the weak, old shutter locks made it hard to keep the windows open during the night because the wind would slam them closed -- a real shame in a town known for beaches.

I only stayed here for one night but the staff member was friendly, professional, spoke perfect English and was very helpful. The facilities are good and I would recommend this hotel for anyone looking to explore Alghero on a budget.

When we arrived at the location the owner was already waiting for us. He also provided us with the local map and pointed out all the restaurants and things to see and do without us even needing to ask. Free breakfast is provided at the caffee just across the road which is excellent! Accommodation is located in the centre of Alghero and is a short walk […] to anywhere. The room was clean but in need of some repairment. The internet connection stoped working after an hour or so, didnt bother to find out why. Only one conection allowed. Free parking means that you can try to find a free spot on the street.

I had a wonderful time in this B&B. The room was nice and clean with spacious bathroom. It`s close to everything: airport bus stop, old town, marina are all within 5-10 minutes walk. Stefano, the host was very friendly and helpful.

Hotellet ligger centralt med nära till allt. Enkla men funktionella rum. Rent och fräsch. Hjälpsam personal. Frukost består av en kaffe och croissant men ett stort supermarket finns runt hörnet om man vill köpa egen mat.Bor gärna här igen.

Vi tyckte hotellet låg bra till i stan, ganska nära gamla stan. Stefano värden var trevlig och visade ut restauranger etc på en karta. Rummet var ok, dock väldigt lyhört och hård säng. Frukost på ett fik över gatan, man fick välja en dryck och en macka/croissant, det var ok! Inget ställe man stannar en vecka på, men för nån natt är det perfekt!

Actinia er et meget hyggelig B&B-hotell med rene og store rom. Meget sentralt i forhold til gamlebyen og resten av byen. Hyggelig og hjelpsomt vertskap. Ordnet transport fra flyplassen og tok godt i mot oss midt på natten. En enkel frokost (kaffe/te og toast/croissant) serveres i en pen kaffebar rett over gaten. Helt greit! Rommet har TV med bare italienske […] kanaler. Kunne vært fint med noen kanaler på engelsk, men det er en detalj. Vi trivdes godt og kommer gjerne igjen. Anbefales! Read more
