Third visit to this apart-hotel on the last week of December. Quiet surroundings, a supermarket and a take-away Indian restaurant next door, a 5-10 minute walk to the beach and the port with very nice restaurants and cafes. No nightlife whatsoever, which is one of the reasons we keep coming back. Excellent breakfast buffet with custom omelettes and fresh fruit. Pretty steep hill means no sunshine on the terrace in the morning. Not all pools are heated, which make them pretty cold in December. Working Wifi. No complaints on quality of service or location. The bathroom is starting to show some signs of wear, but nothing disturbing. Will definitely be coming back for a short do-nothing practicality-over-style unwinding break.

The Don Miguel was a most confortable and convienent hotel. The staff was the best and the dining experience was excellent. I would definitely recommend it too all my friends. I look forward to the next time I am in the country for an extended stay there.

The reason we choose this hotel was because we had to catch a plane at 8AM and it was promoted that there was a van service to take us to the airport, but what was not comunicated before was that there was no service early in the morning so we had to pay 20 euros for a taxi.

huge apartment rooms with spacious balconies. downside is hotel doesn't face the ocean. front desk wasn't too knowledgable when we asked questions but we were able to figure everything out. Amenities were great!

This is the best hotel I have ever stayed at! I and my girlfriend got married here in March 2012 and our 10 day stay was fantastic. The hotel itself is great, the staff was kind and professional and Mogan as a whole a dream. The only thing that didn´t work 100% was the Internet connection in our room, but that was just temporary. I therefore want to recommend anyone to stay here anytime!!!

Parador Cruz Tejeda has the best views on the island, which should be enough for anyone. Our room, and many of the rooms, look the same way over the... rocky canyons stretching to the sea and Tenerife in the distance. The spa costs extra to use and is small but they limit the number who use it at any one time, so it's peaceful. The little pool outdoors amongst the trees is lovely. The breakfast was fantastic with many choices and really good coffee. It's a hiker's paradise as many trails start near the hotel. Otherwise there's not much to do in the area unless you have a car, but if you want comfort amongst nature and stunning scenery, this is the place. by Zoe B from Manchester UK on 01/23/12

Parador Cruz Tejeda has the best views on the island, which should be enough for anyone. Our room, and many of the rooms, look the same way over the rocky canyons stretching to the sea and Tenerife in the distance. Die Lage des Hotels hat schon etwas besonderes, aber darauf ruht es sich auch ein wenig aus - es wirkt alles nicht mehr ganz neu, und auch die Teppiche sind nicht mehr ganz sauber. Leider kann man abends nur noch im Hoteleigenen Restaurant essen, das überteuert ist und einen schlechten Service hat.

Das Hotel ist wirklich super. Super Frühstück. Sehr freundlicher Empfang. Alles sauber. Hervorragende Aussicht runter ins Tal. Geräumiges Zimmer mit sehr ansprechender Innenausrichtung in Holz gehalten. Sehr edel und zum Wohlfühlen. 5 Sterne! Immer wieder. Beim Cruz de Tejede gibt es einige Wanderwege. Tejede ist kurz die Straße runter.

Der Parador ist ein Hotel ohne jegliche Schwächen und mit sehr freundlichem Personal. Die vier Sterne sind angemessen. Durch die Lage ganz oben im Gebirge ist er der ideale Ausgangspunkt für Wanderungen. Die Rückfahrt kann immer mit dem Bus zum Parador erfolgen, da sich vor dem Hotel die Bergstraßen kreuzen. Wer Strände aufsuchen möchte, sollte sich […] zumindest für ein paar Tage ein anderes Hotel suchen: zum Wasser jeweils rund 1 Stunde fahrt über engste Passstraßen, auf denen teilweise kein Platz für entgegenkommende Wagen ist. Wir waren mit dem Hotel überaus zufrieden. Einziger negativer Punkt ist vielleicht, dass das Hotel nur im SPA-Bereich einen Pool hat (Thermalbad-mässig und nicht zum "planschen") und man für diesen deshalb je nach gewähltem Paket (Voll- / Halbpension, ...) unter Umständen bezahlen muss. Bei der Wahl eines Billigangebotes über das Internet können hier […] also noch ein paar versteckte Kosten auf einen zukommen. Aber im nahegelegenen Ort Tejeda hat es einen sehr schönen Pool zu einem günstigen Eintrittspreis und wir würden das Hotel trotz diesem Punkt jederzeit weiterempfehlen. Read more
