Hotel Tirolerhof - Zell am Ziller

Overall really enjoyed time in Innsbruck. Very easy to see things with bus pass since they stop at train station just one block over. Quick walk to old town area with shops and restaurants. Morning breakfast was basic. Only issue we had was coffee came from push button machine and was not good. Bar area allowed smoking and we are not so didn't stay too long.

Despite the fact that it took them over 1 hour to check us in because they couldnt find our reservation... we really had a great experience! Very friendly staff and amazing breakfast. Beautiful view of the mountains from restaurant's patio. Easy to get around the city.

We had a delightful stay at the Hotel Central. The hotel is a very easy walk from the old city and its many attractions, and just a few blocks from the train station. Breakfast buffet was diverse, plentiful, and of high quality. Desk staff was very helpful, fluent in both German and English. Our room was spacious, clean, and generally comfortable. The only small problem was that it was a few degrees warmer than we would have preferred and we couldn't find a thermostat in the room to adjust the temperature. Other members of our family had the same problem in their rooms. It wasn't a big concern though, and we didn't bother to notify the hotel staff about it. There is very little communication between the hotel and the attached cafe/restaurant. It was surprisingly difficult to make a dinner reservation by calling the number listed on the hotel website. When I tried to confirm the dining reservation upon arrival at the hotel, I was told I could only do that with the restaurant manager directly. Considering that it's a relatively small hotel, I thought they should have been able to handle that. Overall though, our stay at the Hotel Central was a very positive experience.
