Room was small. No bath tub just shower. TV was a first edition 17" iMac with a TV converter. Served a purpose as an over night stay but would consider elsewhere for a longer stay. Breakfast was OK. Not much different from a nice Premier Inn only double the cost. Hotel was clean.

My girlfriend and I stayed for a few days while visiting friends and family and were very pleased. The "hotel" is a brand new apartment complex with a small reception just inside the entrance. Rooms were big, bright and well appointed. Location is fantastic, right next to the Arndale Centre. The only complaint about the entire place was that the sofa-bed wasn't the comfiest. Will definitely stay here again!

Overall our stay was great, the room was comfortable and the staff very helpful, The only downsides for me - I wish the bar area food had not been quite so expensive (over 60 pounds for a burger, baked potato, childrens meal and 2 drinks) also when we checked in around 4pm we requested a cot for our daughter, we had to call back twice before it finally arrived around 7:30.

I really can't overstate the awfulness of this one-night stay. Although I will be in the area again, I will not be staying at the Lansdowne. It looks run-down and it is run-down. Somebody must have thought putting a disco in the basement of the hotel would give it a new lease of life; I could hear the thud of the bass through my pillow, until around […] three a.m. or until the sirens of the local constabulary started up. Hotel had very thin walls and couldnt sleep. there was also a pub right next door and could hear music. the room smelled of damp. overall unhappy and wouldnt stay there again
