The staff are particularly helpful at this hotel.I would particularly like to thank the girl who checked me in ( Kelly,I think) and looked after me throughtout my short but pleasant stay.The hotel is quite new and so is in good shape.Prices for rooms are fair and location is brilliant

Hotel and staff great as usual but there wasn't enough staff to cope with a flight cancelation and the sudden influx of additional guests, both for check in, propale queing out To the car park ! Even worse was the wait for the food on a revised menu with only two choices, piza or curry, ordered @ 7.45 got my meal @ 9.50 ! Otherwise ok

Good hotel let down by food. 1st time I have had oven chips in a Hilton. Breakfast was tasteless too. There are only net curtains so prepare for an early morning daylight wake up in the summer months. I wouldn't recommend this hotel due to the food

Generally the stay was ok, however the bed was uncomfortable as every time you moved a spring would ping! The breakfast was average too with a small selection of hot food (only scrambled egg in the egg dept) was on offer but plenty of cereal and other cold breakfast items. The hotel was clean and the staff friendly at a very good price.

We thought the location of the Hotel was excellent for an early morning flight. The breakfast was included in the cost, it was continental and was adequate. The entrance location is poorly located. Service was good and included free wifi in the room.

Luxurious room, smartly furnished and reasonably comfortable. The restaurant though is designed to be fast food and excellent if you want to eat something with your drink but maybe not recommended if you are hungry.

Just brilliant for travelling. Short walk to airport. 24 hour reception. Clean, modern and spacious rooms. Ideal for relaxing in before early morning flight. Only gripe is, I had to ring reception 3 times to ask how to put lights on (it's on your room card), turn air-conditioning off and work the shower! Just some brief instructions in the room to explain […] stuff for us old-fashioned non-technical people would be good. But reception staff very helpful and explain things clearly, so not major problem. Only thing I don't understand is why you have to get your credit card swiped at reception when you've already paid online and shown the paperwork. I was very happy with my choice of the Hampton in John Lennon Airport. It was unbelievable close to the airport. But don't let that put you off as we were not disturbed at all by plane noise etc and it was so easy to just walk 50 metres in the morning for our flight. I have now seen the other hotels that I was considering booking and you would definately […] need a taxi or a shuttle to get to them. The hotel itself lovely. Good and reasonably priced bus service from City Centre. Disappointed with the free WiFi. The speed was the slowest I've experienced anywhere in years. Management were dismissive and told me it was due to high usage around the hotel. Trouble was the WiFi speed didn't vary at any time of day! The bus into town had excellent free WiFi, though!

Location cannot be beaten for early morning flights. Didn't feel hungry so didn't try breakfast which opens at 4am. Hotel room was good size, comfortable bed, and good bathroom. Not too noisy given where it is...Staff were friendly and helpful.

Chaotic at breakfast - running out of crockery, cutlery and food items frequently, not being adept at noticing and dealing with this, poor response to absences […] of necessary items when pointed out. Excuse made that Liverpool FC were at home to Manchester United, but such events are fixed long in advance and it would have been easy to take on a couple of extra staff to cover the expected peak breakfast attendance, or to divert room cleaning staff for a couple of hours. Did not expect the hotel to be "right outside" the airport. I was expecting it to be across a busy main road but it was barely 100 metres between the hotel and the airport with just a little car park entrance to cross. My stay included free breakfast and Internet which is excellent and should be standard in all hotels (why should I have to pay extra […] for these services?). The breakfast was available even at 4am in the morning (the time I had to depart) although at this time there's no cooked food but what was available was great. The only minor issues are that perhaps more staff could be on the front desk later in the evening as it became busy.
