try to avoid rooms with connecting doors, as it can get quite loud from neighbors. the walls are quite thin...and the elevators are slow and have no indication whether it is going down or up!!!

What a great deal! The hotel was modern, clean and in a great location (just a block from the Sky Train, although walking on the road toward the train stop can feel a bit treacherous.). The included breakfast was ample (but a bit random -- a little bit English, a little American, a little Thai, but overall something for everyone.). The service was solid […] and friendly, and the rooms were great if not a tiny bit small. The shower was huge though, and the robes and slippers were a nice touch. I stayed here with my husband and a friend. We were able to utilize the King Bed and couch bed set up. The couch bed is really comfortable according to my friend who stayed on it, but make sure you ask for the extra bedding for the couch bed. First impression counts and the staff was excellent, the lobby modern and well designed. We smiled on our way to our floor, realizing that the name of the hotel explained the choice of lighting in the elevator, turning everything purple and making white teeth stand out. We watched HBO to relax and good francophiles that we are, a french movie on TV5). We had an excellent stay but two negatives for us were: A) Breakfast lacked authenticity and excitement B) Lack of cohesiveness within hotel as you have to go across the street to get to the spa or the gym/pool area or if you were located in a separate wing of the hotel as we were, you have to walk through a little maze of a corridor to get to the lobby. The room was clean and nice. We didn't like that the bathroom had a window to the room, nothing could be seen, but light would come streaming through if you turned the bathroom light on at night. Traffic was horrible during rush hour as it was in the business district. Hard to get a cab at those times. Close to a sky train. Great hotel for young people. Great location, next to the AirTrain station. It is also very close to Siam shopping area, close to Patpong, restaurants, etc. It might not be the best hotel for business is you are planning to receive people at the hotel but it is OK. The staff is very nice and breakfast is very good.

Good rooms, good service, good location, and good food. One negative, we were at the end of the hall on the 4th floor and the Wifi did not work there. So to get a good Wifi signal, we had to go down near the elevators and sit on the floor (or go downstairs). This needs to be fixed!

The Glow met all of our needs for a great price. The rooms were modern, clean, and comfortable. The air-conditioning worked great! (very important in Bangkok). Good water-pressure, comfortable beds, flat-screens, safe, etc. The neighborhood was a bit dead in the evening, but the property is right by the BTS, and the daytime market adjacent is really […] neat. While this may not seem the perfect location, it might just be. A few steps from the train on one side, a few blocks to entertainment on the other. The hotel was nice . There are 2 sections to the hotel. The main lobby, restaurant/bar, and hotel rooms. There is another wing of the hotel down the alley we stayed in that was newly renovated. The room was large with a nice bathroom. Shower was configured incorrectly, as the water pooled at the end opposite the drain. The shower of a friend of mine […] flooded outside the shower for the same reason. No alarm clocks, but they do offer wakeup service. AC worked great. There was a safe in the room. No iron or ironing board.The restaurant was OK, but not a place for a nice meal. Breakfast was good and included in our package, which was a very nicely priced package. The staff was very nice, and we used them to book tours and direct us to restaurants or sites to visit. They were very patient with our confusion as to how to get to places. If you are looking for a hotel to use as a base for seeing other places, this is the hotel. If you are looking for a relaxing place to see things, and hang out by the pool, have a lounge to get drinks at, and a nice dining room for dinner, this isn't the place. They did have access to a pool and exercise room in a neighboring mall, but we didn't use it. It was a block from the Sky Train, which was very convenient, and there was an exceptional Italian restaurant right down the street in walking distance. All in all, we enjoyed our stay, but did miss having that relaxing opportunity of the pool and lounge. Read more

We have stayed at this hotel many times over the years - when it was under other names and as Glow. The quality of the rooms and staff have greatly increased and we highly recommend this as a place to stay. It is convenient to 2 Skytrain stations. It is in the middle of a good shopping and night life area while at the same time it is quiet as it is […] not on the main street. I recently stayed at Glow. It was a wonderful experience. The staff was welcoming and very friendly. The location is great. It's only a few minutes walk from the BTS which makes it much easier to get around Bangkok during rush hours. Also, the pool next door is a nice treat on a steamy Bangkok day.

So tucked about a block off of Silom road and all its madness and shopping lies the Glow hotel. A small boutique hotel with lots of charm. Look for the signs once on Soi 3 off of Silom and you turn to the right and she is right there. Far enough from the madness for quiet and close enough to stumble on home. The hotel.com website states that all rooms have "Sleep Number by Select Comfort mattresses". This is not true but; the beds are extreamly comfortable and suite my picky sleeping requirements. This was my second stay at this hotel. It's located close to Chong Nonsi & Sala Daeng BTS stations so getting around is easy. Staff are friendly & helpful. The staff were friendly and helpful when I checked in around midnite. The breakfast staff were also great. The breakfast was ok, not great but basic and filling. The room was huge with lots of room and the bed was pretty comfy. Definitely not super comfy soft, but not hard hard.
