"Fantastic Property, Location and Price"
As someone who travels a great deal, I have been in many hotels good and bad. This hotel was in walking distance of fantastic restaurants. The room was very clean and the bed so comfortable. Nice touches included cookies and coffee in the lobby, plus a welcome bag with 2 complimentary bottles of water, trail mix and pretzels. We took advantage of the […] rate which included parking and breakfast. The breakfast bar was probably the best I have ever had as a complimentary breakfast. We will be doing business in the area over the summer and we plan to return every time we are there. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Decent stay at a good price"
We wouldn't have stayed at this hotel if it hadn't been on sale. Based on the usual price, I was expecting it to be a bit nicer. I was very surprised they didn't have complimentary toiletry items (ie. I forgot my contact lens case and had to buy one.) The bed was a bit hard but the linens were nice. I was wondering how often they washed the comforter. […] I wasn't sure if it was a cover they replaced every day or if they treated it like a coverlet and never washed it. I was also disappointed that I didn't get to eat breakfast because it didn't start early enough. My partner got to though and she said she enjoyed it. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
The hotel is right in the heart of Bethesda, so the location is great. We did the 3 in1 deal, so we got parking and breakfast included. Good things: clean hotel, friendly staff, nice fresh linens, location, good breakfast food. Not so great things: walls are paper thin ( we can hear people speaking loudly in the next room :( ) bed hard, coffee was weak, […] Didn't have time to try the pool or rec center. "Easy access to surrounding area."
Great customer service. Staff is very attentive and willing to go beyond.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Short walking distance..."
Close to restaurants, shops, pharmacy, movie theaters, Metro. Decent breakfast if you opt for plan. Complementary snacks and lemonade in afternoon. Helpful staff. On site mini-laundromat. Only negative was hot water runs out if you shower in morning when everyone else does.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Quiet, calm, convenient."
We have stayed here numerous times. It is reasonable, convenient, and very very quiet.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Very comfortable stay"
Stayed 1 night with my 3 children, ages 9, 14 and 17. Staff were very friendly and the room was very comfortable and clean. I thoroughly enjoyed staying there.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
Pool is not maintained propertly. Level of clorine exeeds any imaginable norms. That's a shame for such nice hotel.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
Walking distance to metro, near lots of great restaurants. Parking very efficient and reasonable. Staff friendly. Room spacious.Genuine Expedia guest review
"A big golden star after a long trip."
Enjoyable. Confortable. Clean. Staff very helpful.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
Nothing noteworthy, in town for a funeral. The parking cost $15 per day which was on top of an expensive room, the arm that allowed you to leave the parking structure did not activate easily. The hotel staff was super friendly and helpful.Genuine Expedia guest review
Close to NIH with shuttle service. Staff helpful, courteous and professional. We will stay there on our return. In the heart of Bethesda, convenient.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
Nice room, friendly staffGenuine Hotels.com guest review
It was a quick ok stay - beds very uncomfortable and you better ask about parking before you get charged the $15 per night fee! My kids wanted to go for a quick swim at 9 in the morning before we left at 10 but it was closed.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
Very nice. was great to have convenient parking.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Great hotel when heading in D.D."
Hotel was close to Metro. Panera and Starbucks in easy walking distance as well. Hotel very clean and comfortable. Breakfast good (we booked breakfast as part of rate) and they even gave us to-go boxes when we left early on Sunday. Workout room clean but small and did not have disinfectant wipes for the equipment when finished. Only complaints were […] that bar closed at 10pm and that hotel staff underestimated cost of taxi from airport by about $10). Would absolutely stay here again if coming back to D.C. area. "Excellent service and location"
Great welcome with snack/water goody bag. Staff recommended excellent Sushi dinner spot around corner. Wish I brought my suit for the hot tub!Genuine Hotels.com guest review
basically its the best hotel based on location and recent retro-fit. walking distance to everything on Bethesda Row.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Nice hotel close to the Metro"
Everything was fine. My main reason to choose this hotel was its location just a few steps away from the Metro station. Traveling downtown DC was possible in less than 20 minutes.Genuine Expedia guest review
"One Night in Bethesda"
The check in was easy, but my key (neither one) would open the room. Buzz kill alert. Had to race downstairs to get a new key. The room was small but had good amenities. The bath tub was comfortable and the bed was firm. We enjoyed the stay.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"would def. go back!"
My honey and I went for Valentines Day- the hotel had a great dinner, great decorations, great music! Nice! Wish we could have stayed longer, staff was friendly and courteous...gave us coupons for complimentary drinks at the bar. The bathroom is tad small, but still nice. Great view from rooms, spacious, comfy bed, u can change the settings for the […] mattress! Close to DC, so we headed out on the town! Thanks, had a great night! "Two blocks away from the metro"
I enjoyed my time at the Hilton Garden Inn. The rooms were comfortable and quiet. The only complaint was the view from my hotel room wasn't very inspiring - a garage that was under construction. This hotel was 2 blocks away from a metro station which was the most important thing for me.Genuine Hotels.com guest review

"Maintenance issues, close to Metro"
The elevators were out of service during most of my 3-night stay, and housekeeping skipped me one day. But the bed was comfortable, it was quiet, lots of restaurants within a couple of blocks and close to the metro. There was plenty of parking but the garage was rather difficult to navigate.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Everything worked but the elevators"
The hotel was nice to stay in, staff very nice. Out of the 3 elevators, at least 1, sometimes 2, were down making getting up and down slow.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
Hotel was centrally located. Staff was pleasant but parking was confusing. Parking system not explained well by staff. Disappointed that there was not a Continental breakfast - only coffee, cider & cookies. Everything else was extra. I had asked for 2 rooms on an upper floor. We were placed on the 4th floor & was told that some floors were closed due […] to low occuptation. I found this to be untrue. Room was very clean but the AC/Heating unit whirred all night keeping my husband and me awake. Our daughter in the next room said the same thing. No one slept well. We were in town for a burial at Arlington and had a long ride back to NY the next day. A good night's sleep was certainly needed. Will not stay here again. On check out we were being charged for parking which Expedia told me was free! Staff frogave this charge as we were not please with the noise in the room at night. I find it more informative to speak with hotel staff directly rather than an Expedia rep down in Equador who could not possibly know hotel ammenities. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
"NEW YEARS EVE"
I stayed for New Years Eve because I needed to work on New Years Day so I chose the Hilton because it is very close to my job and the price was awesome. The room was very clean and comfortable.Genuine Expedia guest review

"Nice hotel - short walk to metro, restaurants/bars"
I stayed there while attending a professional conference. The staff were great. Other hotel guests were friendly. There were nice touches with offerings of cookies, beverages and a nice, small lobby bar that felt inviting. The rooms were clean and reasonably comfortable. Free WIFI was appreciated.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Good place to stay"
Very satisfied overall. There's nothing really special or flashy about the place, but it's clean, well-run, modern, and has all the amenities you'd expect. Nothing spectacular, but nothing bad, either.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Love this hotel!"
We love this hotel and have stayed here 3 times. It is very convenient, a few minutes from the Beltway and a short walk to the DC Metro. The all-in-one package is a great deal: king size room, breakfast and parking included. Plus they have an indoor pool/whirlpool that is the cherry on top of the sundae.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Close to Woodend Wildlife Sanctuary (for weddings)"
See directions to Woodend on the web. We had no car. Rode the J2 bus to Jones Mills Road and walked 0.6 miles to Woodend. Residentual area. Wear walking shoes. Metro stop Bethesda is a bus center to catch the J2. Hotel Hilton Garden Inn is nice with double sided fireplace (lobby,) to catch a cozy couch, and watch a movie with a complimentary glass of […] wine the first night. Friendly staff. I did find a long black hair in the bathroom and scooped a beetle type bug near the window, but could be anywhere. We didn't try the restaurant, but Bethesda town has lots of options just two blocks away, from burgers to Thai, to Italian with white tablecloths. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
"Business trip to Bethesda MD"
I love the hotel! Seriously one of the best I've stayed in! There were hot coffee, hot tea and cookies at the lobby every night. The housekeeping was spotless. Everything is in great condition, room came with a microwave and a mini fridge and the hotel experience definitely WOWed me and exceeded its rates in experience value.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
Would stay again. Nice alternative to DC hotel.. Parking and hotel package well worth it!Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Abundance of dining options within 2 blocks"
Always comfortable and pleasant. Great front desk and maid staff! Restaurant service could be improved. Not enough staff.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Excellent in Every Way"

A nice and new hotel with all the modern features.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
Nice and clean. But this stay was overpriced for the services provided.Genuine Expedia guest review
Room was spacious and immaculate. Bath soaps and shampoos were of high quality. Attention to our needs was ever present and the staff was extremely helpful. Parking was an extra $15 a day, but we took the room that included the parking and buffet breakfast included. The breakfast was of decent quality and the choices were good. Omelettes could be individually […] ordered. (Breakfast was $15 per person if done not as part of the room price). Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review

"cant beat this location"
Close to metro, highways, great food and parks to walk. My fave place to stay for business and pleasure in the DC area.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Nice hotel but need to improve service level."
I have no idea why the front desk staff requested me to pay for my parking even if my reservation clearly shows I got free parking, and next day in the morning, the same scenario happened at the restaurant asking me to pay my breakfast. I told the employee I had free breakfast. The employee had to go the front desk to verify what I said.Genuine Expedia guest review
Very nice hotel and the staff was very nice. The hotel was easy to get to by gps. The a lot of things to explore in the areaGenuine Expedia guest review
"Excellent location for DC trip"
A friend and I stayed overnight while visiting DC and everything was excellent. Clean and comfortable rooms, free WiFi, an excellent breakfast buffet (for about $15 each), the option to check out by hitting a button on the room phone, location close to the subway and only 6 miles or so to downtown DC and other popular locations, etc. Highly recomme […] nded.
