"An excellent location for short term tourists"
The location is excellent, within 2 minutes walking distance to Tokyo city air terminal where you can take the bus to and from Narita Airport. The metro station is the same 2 minutes walking distance so everything is very convenient. The hotel staff is very friendly, helpful and can be easily communicated with English. The breakfast is very good, with […] salad, bread, sausage, eggs and drinks. The only shortcoming is the size of the room. It's pretty compact, even in Japanese standard, but it's very quiet compared to other big cities like Paris. So overall, I would highly recommend to those who only stay short time in Tokyo because it saves you a lot of Time energy to and from the airport and metro system. (You can buy package of Narita bus tickets and metro 1 or 2 days pass, which saves some money than buying them separately) Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
Hotel very far from everything and in office-only area with very few bars and restaurants. Very very small rooms even for japanese standard, uninviting breakfastGenuine Expedia guest review
"Inexpensive, convenient and clean"
I was very happy with this hotel. Slightly out of the way, but close to two subway stations, so actually surprisingly convenient. The hotel was clean, the included breakfast was good, and the staff was exceptionally accommodating. The rooms are small (normal by Japanese standards, I suppose), but well appointed, and the bed was comfortable. LAN connection […] in the room, but no wi-fi there or in the lobby. About a 30 minute walk to the Tsukiji Fish Market, which was one of the reasons I stayed there. I would definitely recommend. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Great value hotel!"
Rooms were compact but the bed was normal size, unlike some other hotels in Japan. Everything was of a very high standard and location was great. Close to a few different stations as well as the aiport transport station (TCAT). Only thing that could have been better was the breakfast which consisted of assorted coffee/tea, juice, mini pastries, salad, […] toast, clam chowder and not so good scrambled eggs. For the money, this hotel is a good value. The rooms are a tad bigger than the usual business hotels. The bed was comfy and about a full sized mattress. The duvet blanket was comfy. As mentioned in the other reviews, its a block away from TCAT, so its easy transport to Haneda and Narita. The hotel itself, is situated in a business area, so not much […] happening at night and on weekends. Ningyocho is a few blocks away--its an interesting old neighborhood, with many little eateries and old shops. My only quibble was that my room was a tad dusty around the curtains, below the bed. The cleaning staff didnt do the best job (if at all) of cleaning my tub either. Other than that, the room felt overall clean. I wished there was more storage for clothes, there was a tiny area to hang close, but no drawers for smaller things. For the price, its a good value. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
"Still a good hotel and not too expensive."
The problem is that our room didnt have a closet, which made it quite difficult for us to keep our stuff in a regular order. It is also deplorable that the hotels doesnt offer a WIFI Internet connection. I think the hotel should make an update concerning that problem.Genuine Expedia guest review
This hotel is full of weird smells. The reception area smells like old smoke when you first come in. Our room on the 9th floor smelled like a swamp and we were never able to air it out. The room was small and the bed and pillows were really uncomfortable. The air conditioning did not work well. The free breakfast consisted of salad, runny eggs, bread, […] and clam chowder and as you can imagine was not very appetizing. The bread was pretty good, so we just ate that, also the coffee was okay. The best thing about the hotel is it is located next to Tokyo city air terminal so it was easy for us to catch a bus to Narita airport with our luggage. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
typical room size for japan. bed was a little hard and mini fridge was not quite cold. all and all well worth the price. only real complaint was the shower. leaked all over the place and didnt spray very well.Genuine Expedia guest review
"a week in Tokyo"
Nice clean hotel, small rooms but with everything included, very friendly staff always ready to help, their english is ok and they are well prepared for any questions. East access to Metro to center of the city os any other location in Tokyo.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Affordable, comfortable and friendly"
Staff were friendly, rooms were clean and breakfast was good. Close to the subway and convenience stores. Also very close to the Tokyo City Air Terminal Depot which make it easy to get to from Narita or Haneda and vice versa,Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"four and half out of five star"
We are the second time traveller in Japan. It is just righ size of the room space, clean ,also good location to the stations and stores, nice friendly service.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
Its near T-CAT. A short distance from Suitengumae station. The subway brings you straight to Shibuya and Oshiage Skytree. There is a Indian restaurant nearby that sells halal food but serves alcohol too :( Don't forget to check out Sumida river behind IBM. You can take a nice stroll there in the evening. Spot the skytree ! (^_^)VGenuine Expedia guest review
Dirty floors and room. Had to ask for a room change. Other than the location to TCAT and subway, everything else is not good with this hotel.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
Useful hotel close to the City Air Terminal. Usual small room, but spotlessly clean. Short walk to Metro station, and about 15 minutes walk to an area of small bars, restaurants and cafes. Bit off the beaten track, but still accessible.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Worth the money"
3 nights 4 days other than the small room (which is standard in Japan) the stay was comfortable and enjoyable.Genuine Hotels.com guest review

Strategically located with various options to and fro airport. You have the TCAT as well as the metro. There are also a good variety of restaurants around.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Hotel Villa Fontaine Tokyo"
Room was tiny with very little space to hang clothes and an interesting 'capsule' bathroom! However, it was very good value for money and in a good & quiet location. Come out at exit 2 from the subway - unfortunately there are only steps for the last part so you have to lug your suitcase up them but there are escalators/lifts in the main parts of the […] station. The hotel room was very clean, it is very close to the metro station (3 min walk) the breakfast was fine, the only problem is that the WIFI is only available in the lobby.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
No Wifi in rooms would be the main concern. But easy to locate the hotel. From the airports, either Haneda or Narita, take the buses to the Tokyo-City Air Terminal which is connected to Suitengumae station. Head towards the direction of a Udon shop called 'DonDonUdon', great udon here with good value for money, you should see a 7-11 there too, head […] towards the direction of the 7-11 and you should see the hotel's sign directing you to it. "Nice hotel near the metro station"
The quality of the hotel was better than I expected. It was small but was enough for single person. Although smell of cigarette was strong when I first entered the room, it provided a scented spray in the room for you to spray wherever you wanted and it really helped. The hotel was near the Suitengumae metro station and TCAT airport bus station. Everything […] was great except wired internet connection (lans provided). If wifi was privided in the room, it would be perfect. I recommend everyone to book this hotel. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
We stayed at this place 3 nights, first time in Japan; the hotel is in a very convenient location, close to the subway and the Tokyo city air terminal, buses to the airports Haneda and Narita; from Narita is very easy to get to this place by train and subway,Keisei line to Oshiage(sky tree) station, about 1200 Yen, then at Oshiage look for the Honzomon […] line to Suitengumae station, take the exit #2 and you will be like half a block away from the hotel. The people at the hotel were very friendly and helpfull, I found the all japanese people were very friendly and helpfull, the breakfast was a plus too, nothing fancy but good enough. Rooms are small by northamerican standards but that is how it is in Japan. The place was spotless, and I would stay here again. Overall I am very satisfied with my experience with this hotel. "Hotel Nihonbashi Villa stay May 2014"
Overall a confortble stay. Certainly value for money. I had only one issue. The LAN in the room does not work. Hotel should stop advertising it, if it does not work. Hotel does not assis with configuration at all. Wifi is provided only in the lobby for a max of 3 days for free. Breakfast was sufficient, even for vegetarians. Room was small but just […] sufficient for a single person stay, and all basic amenities provided. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review

"Good location, comfortable rooms"
The room was spotlessly clean and very comfortable. The hotel is within 2 minutes walk to the TCAT (limousine bus to airports) and Suitengumae station, 7 mins to Kayabacho station so very easy to go anywhere in the city. Complimentary breakfast (basic but good enough) and free in-room wired internet. Wireless internet only available in the lobby. I have been visiting Japan quite often in the past but this time it was with my family and a private leisure visit. As expected the room size is small ( its same in every hotel in Japan) but the service and its location surpasses all other hotels in Japan considering the room charge range. Its just two minutes walk from Tokyo City Air Terminal. Seven […] eleven store and Lawson store are even at a closer distance. Subway station (Exit 3) Suitengumae - on Hanzomon line is just three minutes walk between the hotel & Subway station. Breakfast was good enough keeping in mind the expensive Japanese prices of commodities. We stayed for three nights and all were very comfortable. Rooms were cleaned each day and linen / towels all provided clean & fresh. Beds were a bit harder as compared to normal standards. I would love to stay in this hotel when I / we visit Tokyo again. Hotel general outlook ( lounge) is not so good but other plus points overcomes this demerit. Staff was very cooperative & helpful. They understood English well. Highly recommended to for stay for business or family visit. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review

"4.5 out of 5 for location & amenities"
Excellent location near to TCAT and Suitengumae Station (1 min walk), and Kayabacho Station (15mins walk). Wifi reception was excellent although had problems with log in the first 2 nights. We could even get strong wifi signal on Level 3 provided you open your room door. Full amenities provided except no lotion. "Very close to subway station"
Great location. Close to Bus/airport connection Good valueGenuine Expedia guest review
This hotel initially took a little while to find, but that was more down to my poor navigation. Actually located very close to the TCAT Terminal (for direct transfer to and from Narita Airport), it is just a two minute walk from the river, and well-served by several convenience stores, and local eateries (restaurants, cafes, and quick-stop snack bars). The […] staff were very amenable, quick to see to any requests, and very attentive. The rooms are perhaps a little small by Western standards, but more than sufficient for someone travelling alone; with a reasonable bathroom (with bath/ shower, as well as shampoo, conditioner, body wash, toothbrush, shaving equipment, comb), television, tea/ coffee facilities, small fridge and air conditioning. Breakfast was fairly basic, but more than enough again for a lone traveller, and with ample space for seating etc. There is a good supply of information regarding the local area (Nihonbashi), and there are three different subway lines within 15 minutes' walk. The area was relatively quiet, despite its proximity to business districts, and there was very little noise from within the hotel itself, even though it is open 24/7. Overall, a very nice hotel, well-suited to single travellers/ businessmen, or couples. I am not sure how good it would be for a family, but I would still recommend it to all. "Nicely placed and a pleasant place to stay."
The hotel is very close to Suitengumae metro station, and within easy walking distance of another for choice of lines. There is also a coach station for Airport Limousine transport to the airports next to the Suitengumae metro station. There are plenty of stores and restuarants nearby, and places of interest to visit. The double room I had was small, […] which is quite usual, it would be quite awkward for 2 people with large cases, but for 1 person was adequate. It was cleaned well every day and had had all the lotions and potions you would expect. There was also a kettle and green tea. I know to take my own coffee to Japan. There was also a small fridge for milk. The staff were all very helpful, from the breakfast staff, to cleaners, to reception. They all spoke at least a little English. Reception staff helped me to find the channel with the F1 GP on. There was wired internet in the room free. There were also plenty of official maps in the lobby, and some single-page reprints of particular areas. These were especially useful as you can just take one sheet with you rather than a booklet. It slightly unnerved me that the central floor lobbies are open to the rain. I presume this is deliberate. The lift on the ground floor is indoors, and if the weather is good you think the upper lobbies are inside too, but when it rains you realise the centre is open to the elements. There was one washing machine and one dryer, so you may have to wait to do the laundry. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
"Good value for money for our stay."
The location is good and near Subway train station(Suitengumae) and the Sky Bus Terminal - for airport transfer. Easily move around without any hassle. With our family arriving early in the morning travelling from Narita airport to the hotel, we have bought a One way ride to Oshiage Station (Sky Tree) and Common One-day ticket for Tokyo Metro & Toei […] Subway for 2,130yen each to go to the Hotel and used the one day ticket for sight seeing for the rest of the day. This deal is only for visitors from abroad. If we take the Sky Bus to the Hotel it will cost us 2,900yen per person. From Suitengumae (Z10) subway will take you directly to Shibuya(Z01) where you can witness the busiest intersection in the world. We had a great time in Disney Sea and Disney World - celebrating 30th Anniversary. One day pass is 6,500yen and 2 days pass is 10,700yen which we took for our family.
