Harborview Inn & RV Park - Garibaldi

What an excellent surprise tucked by the narbor in a small coast town! The "room" looks and feels like a small cottage...the layout has a large room with 2 queen beds with beautiful linens and "beach" toss pillows, a small table with 2 chairs, mounted flat screen, a wall separates this area from another table beside a stainless dorm refrigerator and […] microwave across from the large vanity...then the bathroom with a large tiled shower. Additionally, there are 2 folding patio chairs on wall hooks in the main room for use outside. 2 large picture windows provide spectacular view of the boats in the harbor. Immaculately clean...amenities included delicious blend of coffee, mini moo creamer, sugar/sweetner...hairdryer...abundant towels. Each unit has beautiful flowering bushes outside (roses, hydrangeas, etc)..on our table was a glass bowl with a floating yellow rose and a decorative bundle of salt water taffy. There is also a basket with earplugs "for light sleepers" ...there is the occasional clanging of a bell as boats come into the harbor, but it was not a problem for me...never had such thoughtful and beautiful accommodations.. The loation right on the Harbor in Garibaldi was beauitful. Even if there are RV's parked infront of your room blocking your view - it is only a few steps outside your room to walk down by the water. There is a Crab Shack you can cook your crab that you may catch or you can just sit relax and enjoy the view using the provided chairs inside your room. […] The room was very very clean. We really enjoyed our stay at the Harborview Inn and were pleasantly surprised that the room looked just like the picture on their website! The manager was helpful and very nice. During the three days we stayed there wasn't any noise from the mill and the harbor traffic was brisk but not intrusive. I'd stay there again!

Lovely old fashion drive-up Motor Hotel with character. Classic simple design. Nothing fancy but very comfortable. Situated in the midst of a commercial fishing port. The recreation boat launch is across the street on east side and the west side overlooks a RV Park on Tillamook Bay. Great place...view is blocked by motorhomes so a little misleading when you see their website pictures. Not a Hilton but very unique, clean room that suited our needs fine. No bathtub and papermill next door will wake you if you are not a heavy sleeper. Walking distance to everything. Definately reccommend. If you are looking for pools, spas, saunas […] and room service, this ain't your place but they have fridge and micro...we brought our own food but ended up eating out mostly as there are great restaurants within 12 miles. Avoid Pirates Cove and Fishermans Korner...make the drive to tilamook and eat at Koko's and Pacific Restaurant...you won't be dissappointed...at least I hope the experience will be consistent. Just stayed at the Harborview Inn in Garibaldi over Labor Day weekend. When checking the reviews online, the positive ones stated that it was clean and the only negatives I saw was the saw mill next door. When arriving, I was greeted by Jeff, the manager. He was very friendly and gave great suggestions on where to eat. When I checked into my room, I […] was pleasantly surprised on how immaculently clean it was, as well as how large the room was! The fresh picked rose bud in a bud vase was a nice touch on long with the salt water taffy. The hotel is located on the Garibaldi marina and yes, there is a saw mill right next to it, but I am a light sleeper and didn't hear anything! I enjoyed waking up at sunrise and being able to walk out of my room to the marina to snap pictures of the sun rising over the marina. My overall experience was way more better than I could have ever expected and I would definately stay here again and reccomend it to anyone wanting to stay on the Oregon Coast. Read more

Overall, the hotel is very nice. It's comfortable, clean and nicely decorated with sea themes, but it's right next door to a wood mill. It was noisy the whole time there, with the mill operating 24 hours a day. Luckily I travel with ear plugs. Also, there is no real view from the rooms on the back side. All I saw was RVs outside the window.

I greatly enjoyed the motel. The room was clean and smelled fresh. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Unfortunately, it is located next to a logging mill. It was very noisy starting at 7 am. The room did not have a fan or air conditioning. It had baseboard heating only. I would stay there again but will bring a fan.

Harbor Inn gave us a great room for the money. The room was very clean, is recently remodeled, including fresh paint, and nicely decorated. For an older motel, it has been very nicely redone. I would not hesitate to recommend this motel to a friend.

The Harborview in provides good value for their rates. The room was immaculate. Even though the motel is older the furnishings and decor have been updated. While the motel is on the bay, you can't actually see it from your bayside room because their is an RV park between the motel and the bay. It is an easy walk to a view of the bay. There is a trail […] along the bay to a crab pier. There are 2 restaurants within walking distance of the motel on the marina side.
