The staff was friendly enough, although I didn't have much contact with them. I checked in about 1 hour early. My room had not been vacuumed, the wooden furniture had not been dusted or cleaned in some time (a least a week or more), and there was pink and green mold on the shower curtain. The daytime desk crew were very unfriendly. When asking for help, they seemed to act like we were a bother. When we entered the room, it smelled strongly of disinfectant and dog. The smell didn't go away until that evening. That said, we did check in a couple of hours early. The walls are very thin, and you can hear a lot of door slamming and conversations […] in the hallways until way past 2 AM. We reported to this to the staff the next day, and they told us those guests would not be checking out for a couple of days. We asked for another room, and to be called when it was ready. They never called. The side entry door was open all night, and apparently the card access reader was broken.. anyone could have come in. The A/C unit seemed to have a mind of its own. The cool air would not turn on until you set it to 60. The unit was very loud as it cycled on and off. The second night was bearable only because we purchased a small fan for white noise to cover the sounds of the hotel. It is understandable that a hotel is going to busy with sound during the day. Complete and total Nightmare. Upon arrival I was checked in by a lady who repetitively told me she was sick and wish she would die. The hotel room itself was not cleaned thoroughly. The employees didn't seem to agree on the time the pool opened and being part of the little contact we had with them, it made them seem a little incompetent. FIRE THE NIGHT RECEPTIONIST! She was short and rude both nights! Also, I was told I would have a crib available to me upon arrival, but it clearly was not as the night receptionist was using it for her own infant that SHE BROUGHT TO WORK!!!! How unprofessional! To top it off, she would not leave her post to help with anything because her child was a distraction! People want a hot breakfast and there was nothing hot about yours unless you microwaved it! Your waffle machine didn't even make the waffles correctly! Fix the heater controls in the rooms! We froze the first hour we were there because you couldn't turn the heat up unless you took off the face of the heater control! The room was not vacuumed, I had no coffee pot in my room and when I asked the overnight receptionist to provide me with another one she told me I had to wait until the rest of the staff arrived because she couldn't leave! It was 5am! Some ppl like to have coffee in their rooms not go to the lobby downstairs! There was some kind of short in the room because all of the outlets and light turned off and wouldn't work! The staff couldn't fix it so finally they switched us to another room. I was told I had to wait for it to be cleaned because none of the housekeepers could make it up there yet so I had to get ready in a disgusting uncleaned room! It was Christmas!!!!! We ran two hours late and missed my husbands parents! When we got back we couldn't see to get any of our belongings from the old room to switch to the new room... Of course, we had no help there either! That night we couldn't get our card key to open the pool so we asked if the night receptionist could open it. She said we had to wait until she was done doing all the things needed to be done before she could help us which was ludicrous because al she had to do was walk down the damn hall! On top of that when we finally did go swimming the next morning the pool was not heated as promised. My 6 yr old could have caught pnumonia! In our new room, it was constantly noisy with the dogs and other guests... I don't know if they were wrestling while having a jamming session or what but no one could sleep in that crap! Lastly, the night before we left the back door stopped working with enterance with our cards. Apparently the whole door lock thing was broken. It would just open and close as it pleased so anyone could waltz in! Plus the door at the staircase exiting outside was constantly wedged open! Lastly, when we were switching from one room to another, the damn card keys wouldn't work! For either room we had 4 sets of card keys by the end of this experience! and we only stayed two nights!!!!

Definitely not anything fancy, the breakfast was stuff they had gotten from the grocery store up the road, the snack room and the vending machines were practically empty, and the staff wasn't very professional but they were nice. If you are lokking for all the frills of a nicer LaQuinta, go up the road. But this one was clean, spacious and had a good rate . Hopefully it will remain this way as time goes on and won't get run down!
"Do Not Stay Here..."
The girl at the front desk was not very welcoming. I asked for the wifi password because I could not remember it (we had stayed multiple times before) and she acted like she had no clue what I was talking about. We walked into our room, which smelled like mildew and smoke and was dusty. The toilet seat was broken. The remote control for the tv did not work. The wifi kept giving us problems. We did not have a "do not disturb" sign. When the staff entered the room to clean, it did not appear that they had done anything, except empty one trash can. Why did they come in at all? I went down to the desk a few days later because we decided to stay one more night. The girl again looked at me like I was stupid. She did not offer to reset my room keys, so that night we could not get into the building from the side we had been parking on. I also noticed another guest complaint on the desk about not receiving a free stay after having so many problems. After our last stay, I emailed the hotel manager letting him know our concerns, and I got back what seemed like an automated response. There was no resolution to the problem. I did not expect anything out of it, but at least act like you care. The night girl was extremely helpful, but I did let her know my frustration with the key and the other girl. Overall the hotel quality was awful, and the service was awful. We always stay here when we visit family, but it looks like we will have to find somewhere else to stay.

The hotel & staff are excellent. The indoor pool and spa are a bonus especially in bad weather. The beds are extremely comfortable and having a fridge and microwave in the room was great. Definitely will stay again and recommend to anyone staying in the area. Close to Ft. Worth and there are some great restaurants in the area.

The walls are paper thin you will not get a good night sleep! Our bathroom was dirty, the toilet had a bunch of hair and dirt on it. There was a dirty bandaid stuck the floor. After complaining and asking for the manager I was informed the manager is only in for a few hours a day. The outside was nice and the rooms in decent shape but the customer service and cleanliness was horrible! We skipped our second night and went to Cleburne, I know it's a little more experience to stay at that La Quinta but it's just down the road and worth the extra money!

The rooms are never cleaned, the hotel staff LIVES at the hotel, don't be too loud for them! You have to wait for them to finish their cigarette before they will check you in. My entire wedding guest list stayed here. Worst experience.

This hotel looks like a Salvation Army store when you walk into the lobby. Old, frayed furniture, filthy lobby, rude front desk people. If not for the wedding party that booked this hotel I would have left even if I lost my money for the hotel. The hotel needs a complete makeover and a separate area for rooms with pets. Having been kept awake by pets everynight is no fun, especially when I am allergeic to dogs.

We are in the middle of a 78 room remodel and were asked by our contractors to stay somewhere for a night or 2 as they were painting ceilings. We had a wonderful stay at your Burleson, Texas location. Three days later we put our daughter and son-in-law and three grand kids up at the Joshua, Texas location. Person who greeted them was sick and complaining. Got checked in and went to the pool...No towels or restroom toilet paper.. Went to bed and left for the day...No maid service.. Called the desk and it took 45 minutes to get bath mats to dry my grandkids off after bath. Finally went to bed. Got woke up at 11.30 pm by front desk worker and very large women. They said they had the wrong room. Mind you my grand children are 6, 3 and 1. The whole experience was horrible and this location. We are very sure the person working the desk was under the influence of some narcotics. I have asked for a full refund as my kids stayed for 2 nights.
