Overall it was good, but I think their breakfast could of been a little bit better considering they had a hotel full of athletes there. WHERE DO I START, OK, ITEMS LEFT IN THE ROOM FROM PREVIOUS GUEST BUT WAS ASSURED THEY HAD CHECKED OUT HOWEVER THIER SKIN PIECES WERE STILL ON THE SHEETS! This hotel is not staffed well. We checked in on a Thursday and were out all day Friday. No one cleaned our room. The dirty towels were picked up but not replaced. There was also no cups for coffee. I was well pleased with my stay at the La Quinta Inn Suites Joshua. I needed to be close to my final destination early in the morning, and I was able to get there on time by staying the night at Joshua. The employees didn't seem to agree on the time the pool opened and being part of the little contact we had with them, it made them seem a little incompetent. Hotel was great!! Room was clean and comfy. The clerk at the desk looked to be about 20 he had no idea what he was doing! I went in and checked us in he gave me a room. The walls are paper thin you will not get a good night sleep! Our bathroom was dirty, the toilet had a bunch of hair and dirt on it. There was a dirty bandaid stuck the floor. After complaining and asking for the manager I was informed the manager is only in for a few hours a day. The outside was nice and the rooms in decent shape but the customer service and cleanliness was horrible! We skipped our second night and went to Cleburne, I know it's a little more experience to stay at that La Quinta but it's just down the road and worth the extra money!

The rooms are never cleaned, the hotel staff LIVES at the hotel, don't be too loud for them! You have to wait for them to finish their cigarette before they will check you in. My entire wedding guest list stayed here. Worst experience.
"Salvation Army Lobby"

This hotel looks like a Salvation Army store when you walk into the lobby. Old, frayed furniture, filthy lobby, rude front desk people. If not for the wedding party that booked this hotel I would have left even if I lost my money for the hotel. The hotel needs a complete makeover and a separate area for rooms with pets. Having been kept awake by pets everynight is no fun, especially when I am allergeic to dogs.

We are in the middle of a 78 room remodel and were asked by our contractors to stay somewhere for a night or 2 as they were painting ceilings. We had a wonderful stay at your Burleson, Texas location. Three days later we put our daughter and son-in-law and three grand kids up at the Joshua, Texas location. Person who greeted them was sick and complaining. Got checked in and went to the pool...No towels or restroom toilet paper.. Went to bed and left for the day...No maid service.. Called the desk and it took 45 minutes to get bath mats to dry my grandkids off after bath. Finally went to bed. Got woke up at 11.30 pm by front desk worker and very large women. They said they had the wrong room. Mind you my grand children are 6, 3 and 1. The whole experience was horrible and this location. We are very sure the person working the desk was under the influence of some narcotics. I have asked for a full refund as my kids stayed for 2 nights.

I understand that this is not one of La Quinta's Tier 1 hotels. That being said, I was trying to take advantage of my free nights points in a weekend stay and enjoy some weekend football on TV. When I arrived, I was informed I could park around the rear of the hotel to go into my room through a back door entrance. I parked around back and grabbed my clothes and found the key didn't open the door. I put my clothes back into my car and informed the clerk at the desk. They propped open the back door with an ashtray stand while I brought in my things. After settling in, I found there was no remote control for the TV. After a trip to the desk again, I was given a remote. When I took it to my room, I found it was the wrong branded remote and had to return it for a correct branded remote. I quickly found a disappointing channel selection that only included local channels (ABC, NBC, CBS and a local independent) So much for enjoying a selection of football games. The reception was also very blurry on the screen. Then I noticed the alarm clock was not plugged in. When I went to plug it in I found the digital display would not work without leaving the radio on. If you are looking for a La Quinta to redeem your returns points on, I would not recommend this one. Try the Alvarado one, or somewhere else in the Ft. Worth area. My review was based on quality of service and what I have grown to expect as a La Quinta Elite returns member. I will stay at a different La Quinta next time. Lesson learned.
"Dirty hotel and issues"

Hotel common areas, hall ways, elevator, lobby were filthy!. Blood on the wall!. Maid never cleaned no straighten up or any maid service during 2 night stay. Staff was loud and laughing and joking in back room and not responsive to customers. Air conditioner didn't work in first room, then thermostat didn't work in second room. Person who checked me in complained about her personal issues and asked me the same questions over and over. She seemed very confused!. If it wasn't the only hotel at this location, I would definitely stay elsewhere.

We stayed Friday thru Monday. Our room was clean enough, the sheets had old stains on them. Had to have housekeeping change them. They had to go through several to find any that didn't have stains. The location of hotel was perfect for our needs. Like other reviewers, the breakfast is terrible. They had microwave sausage and biscuits, microwave muffins and cereal. The milk was a gallon jug, which everyone handled and then left out on counter. The staff was heating the microwave food up and then placed in a heated pan. The waffle machine is an option, but that's about it. Oh yea, there was fruit, the same three apples sit there for three days. The staff was friendly enough, but few of them. And yes, sometimes hard to find. The front lobby was clean, but furniture was worn and old. I would stay again, because of price and location.. I would only hope management take advice and buy new linens and do something to improve breakfast. Most customers just want a nice clean room with decent service. As far as Wi-Fi, I never could get mine to work.

Motel chain is good and my family and I have always had a good experience. This facility was nice and I had a good visit. I would use again if I was in the area again. Check-in and check-out was smooth. Accommodations were very good. Nice location.

Writing this review after the first night of my stay. Checked in late last night and my children followed shortly after. The night staff, Eva, was great and friendly. I'm having issues with wifi connectivity but everything else is ok. The cleaning lady was also very friendly. I noticed the many negative comments but so far so good!
We just stayed here over the weekend for a wedding... after a long 4.5 hour drive we arrived at hotel way before check in time normal check im time is at 3pm we got to check in way before that which was a good thing because it gave us time to rest before the wedding... the room was very clean & the stay was excellent! Will stay again when we go back! I will admit when i first booked hotel & after reading all these reviews i was afraid to stay but it all worked out great... this a new hotel!
