The hotel was the perfect location for everything that I did that weekend. Close to downtown and my son college. The room was great for the price

"WONDERFUL!!"
Very nice hotel...our first time her to the Hilton Garden. Very nice room, with nice big bathroom. The breakfast is not included, but it was very tasty and lots to pick from. Worth the money !!! Staff was very friendly! Definitely will go back again!!
"Bleak location but great for shopping"
The hotel is well situated near Freeways and not too far from the airport. It is close to a large number of malls and shops which are widely spread out. The rooms are large and comfortable with free facilities such as internet and a gym. The bar/dining area is small but well run with a good selection of food at breakfast. There are other comfortable […] and well appointed seating areas in reception. The staff are extremely friendly & helpful. Externally it like being on a building site as the hotel is situated in a new development of housing and shops that has come to a grinding halt due to the economic issues facing the country. "Great for families with kids; less so for couples"
Overall hotel was great. Our rate included breakfast buffet which was excellent. My husband & I had planned a weekend getaway, looking forward to the pool & hot tub. There were two pools, shallow & shallower, so was great for kids and there were LOTS of kids All the time, including pre-teens/teens in the hot tub. The Hilton Garden Inn is a beautiful hotel very close to I-80 and Jordan Creek Mall. Very clean and safe feeling. Make sure you find a rate on hotels.com that includes the breakfast buffet because it's great, but kind of expensive if your rate doesn't include it.
The Hilton Garden Inn in West Des Moines was a great place to stay. It is fairly new and the neighborhood around it is new as well. It is located close to a large mall that offers every store you would want, as well as a theatre complex, however, it is not noisy at all.
