The hot water doesn't work right and complaints are not resolved in a timely manner. I had upgraded to get a whirlpool tub that never worked. When the best man screwed up, the best concierge came to the rescue! We made a mistake when booking our hotel room and when we went to get this corrected it felt like there was never a mistake made. I felt that the hotel stay was good. The location is with a 1-2 miles of downtown. I took the shuttle downtown but walked back to the room and it took about 15 minutes so not to bad. It's a Hilton so it is the quality you expect. There is a parking garage next door and a shuttle that will take you and pick you up downtown. Staff was super friendly and answered all my questions. I gave it a 5 in all categories except for neighborhood only because it is on the route to Vanderbilt Hospital and I would occasionally wake up briefly at night to the sound of an ambulance. So I really want to give this place a perfect mark but housecleaning is the only thing that keeps it from happening. The service was OUTSTANDING. When I arrived the gentleman at the front desk saw that the valet had just went to park another guest's car so he came outside to great me and start the check-in. Unfortunately, my room was really dusty. Dust caked on the arm of the chair, end table, microwave, mirror above the desk.
