"Lovely inn and close to the park"
The inn is beautiful and is right near the park. The staff was very friendly, but always seemed hurried. Breakfast was delicious and served very promptly. We stayed in room 7. Our room was clean, nicely decorated/furnished, and over all very comfortable. It faces the street though, and it's a busy one, so we constantly heard the cars. Luckily, we're […] accustomed to this from living in cities, but I could see it bothering others who aren't used to it. We'd probably pick a different room if we stayed again, but other than that our experience was perfectly lovely! Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Very friendly and accommodating"
The staff were wonderful! We had a last minute additional guest in our party and were given a great deal upgrading to a room that could accommodate three.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Nice bed and breakfast"
Excellent experience. Tucked across Forsyth Park from the Mansion, the accommodations, breakfasts, wine & appetizers were perfect.Genuine Expedia guest review
"First class service in every way"
The service by Duane and the staff was exceptional. It's a beautiful property consistent with the general ambiance of Savannah. My only criticism would be that they need to update their in room televisions.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Old School Charm in the Heart of Savannah"
Amazing architecture right across from beautiful Forsyth Park that was always bustling with activity. We stayed in room #8 and had our own little balcony where we had breakfast both mornings. The staff was very friendly and helpful as well. Wish we had a day or two more.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Would rather stay at a hotel."
Did not like the inn at all. Staff very pleasant. All of us were disappointed.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Get a hotel room."
It was "A Room." No charm, nothing special. The breakfast that's on the website did not exist. If that day they made pancakes with bacon, that was it (other than cold cereals). More choices at Holiday Inn. Had to call the police one night because two drunks got into a fight in front of the inn and they don't have a caretaker on the premises.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Couldn't be happier"
Excellent stay! Room was charming, large and comfortable. Loved all the original architecture and wood work. But had all the modern luxuries. But the location and view stole our hearts. Sitting on the veranda overlooking beautiful Forsyth Park at night was the perfect cap to a perfect day in Savannah. Staff went above and beyond being helpful and accommodating. […] They really take the time to talk listen and help. Don't miss this gem when in Savannah. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review

"Southern charm in a Bed and Breakfast"
Located right across from beautiful Forsyth Park, the Forsyth Park Inn was perfect in every way. From the delectable breakfasts to the appetizers and wine to the dessert and coffee before bed, the setting and the staff couldn't be better. Loved it!Genuine Expedia guest review
"Perfect Romantic Getaway"
This B&B is a gem right across from beautiful Forsyth park - what more could I ask for a romantic stay for our 10th wedding anniversary trip? The staff treated us very kindly, Jerry especially was delightful, suggested a great restaurant for our anniversary dinner & where to have drinks after - Thank you. The cocktail hour on the porch was fun & the […] dessert bar when we got back from dinner was a nice treat. Loved the room (11) and with access to the back courtyard with it's own entrance, would definitely stay here again! Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
Enthusiastic staff. Great location. Lovely to sit on the verandah having evening hors d'ourves, then dessert. Air conditioner in room (#8) blew too directly on the bed but the room was quiet and away from the street.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Historic B&B with Friendly, Informative Staff"
Stayed three nights in March at Forsyth Park Inn in a first floor room with 12 foot historic doors and a fireplace in the bedroom. Highlights include the tasty breakfasts, insightful and friendly staff, views of the park from the porch, and the great location. We are looking forward to staying again at this B&B, hopefully on the second floor where there […] is a bit less hallway traffic. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review

We chose the Inn for our second anniversary and we had a wonderful time. The location is perfect, right across from Forsythe Park and within a mile of everything you'd want to see. "Spring Break in Savannah"
We decided on Savannah for spring break and found the Forsyth Park Inn through Expedia. The staff was friendly, helpful, and truly concerned that we had an excellent stay not only at the inn but also in the historic district. Room accommodations were excellent. Breakfast was delicious, and the evening hors d'oeuvres and desserts were an unexpected surprise. […] We have stayed at several B&Bs, and this is by far the nicest. The only glitch was inability to connect our iPads to the wireless network, but we managed with our personal hotspots. Not a detraction from our rating by any means. "Nice Savannah getaway in a beautiful Inn!"
Our 2nd stay in this beautiful Inn! We truly enjoyed the place and appreciate the special service you get staying here. Very friendly and detail oriented staff. We'll be back for sure.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
I can't say enough about our stay here. Location is perfect, right across from the park it is quieter then downtown yet close enough to walk to so many places. The staff was excellent but of course Daphne was our favorite with a wealth of knowledge as to where to go for what ever you need. Breakfast was always excellent. It was so enjoyable to come […] back to the house after a long day of walking and touring to a nice glass of Sweet Tea and what ever goodies would await you in the front parlor and then to relax in the rocking chairs on the front porch. "45th Wedding Anniversary"
From the moment we arrived we felt welcome by the staff. They were very helpful in telling us what we could do around Savannah. The breakfast were outstanding. Each evening there were light snacks from 6:00 to 7:00 with desert and coffee the rest of the evening. When it came time for us to do the recommended trolley tour, they called and we were picked […] up at the B&B and were returned to the B&B. Forsyth Park across the street is a beautiful place to walk and enjoy the fresh air. With history that goes back nearly 300 years there are plenty of historic places to see and enjoy -- including the ghost tours. The Savannah River Front is a great place to tour and many great places to eat. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
"A Savannah Wedding"
The inn was wonderful. The location cannot be beat, right across from Forsyth Park. There is a bit of traffic that drives by and it can get loud when you're on the porch, but during the early and late hours of the weekend it's quite pleasant. Our rooms were spacious and lovely vaulted ceilings. We had had a small wedding ceremony in the courtyard and […] it was a perfect little spot that was hidden by people passing by. "Quaint southern charmer in need of some up dates"
I have been to Savannah several times but had never stayed at this B&B . Our room was on the lower level so it was difficult getting our luggage up and down the stairs. Also there was no one to help us with our luggage when we arrived. I found the house keeping staff and the people who served breakfast to be very nice and friendly. The two people who […] were in charge of the front desk really didn't strike me as very attentive to the guests. The Inn could use some updating. Some of the furnishings am fixtures and wallpaper were worn. New toilet seat in room 10 would go a long way. Nice view of the park while haivng breakfast and quaint court yard. "Wonderfully Relaxing Stay"
I honestly cannot say enough good about our stay at the Forsyth Park Inn. We were greeted warmly upon our arrival a staff member reviewed the surrounding area, gave information about places to eat, things to see and do while we were in Savannah, she then escorted us to our room and showed us around. She let us know there were Appetizers offered in the […] evening and verified that the next days breakfast was acceptable to us. The inn sits on Forsyth Park and the porch faces the park and the fountain. Every night we stayed we sat on the porch with the other patrons and discussed what we had done and seen and made recommendations to one another. Staff always came out to make sure we were doing OK and to make sure we were enjoying our stay. A light dessert was offered later in the evening. Sweet tea, water, coffee and tea were always available. Our room was spacious with 14 foot high ceilings, a non working fireplace and a reasonable sized closet, a claw foot tub and marble floors were major features in our bathroom, the air conditioning worked well and our room faced a lovely courtyard with a large fountain. The Inn was about a mile walk to river street, but it was a very pleasant walk through the parks that dot Savannah's streets. The inn called various tours we were booked on and had their vans come and pick us up at the inn. When we return to Savannah we will definitely stay at the Forsyth Park Inn again. loved the building, very enchanting and beautiful. breakfast was personal and delicious. would stay at this B and B over any mainstream hotel that is located in the river area. enjoyed waking up to total tranquility in this victorian neighborhoodGenuine Hotels.com guest review

"Very nice historic B&B"
The location on Forsyth Park is very convenient and pleasant, but the parking is problem. Even though the house itself is historic and nicely furnished, I would call it "shabby-chic" - the bathroom in room 6 definitely needs upgrading (shower is in bathtub surrounded by a plastic curtain. also, there is no room for toiletries. "Loved our 1st experience in The South!"
I reserved this B&B to begin our experience in the South with the perfect setting. The park is so beautiful and fragrant with the jasmine - we walked it both days. The breakfasts each morning were excellent, and we enjoyed the sweet tea on the white porch. Thanks for a great experience!Genuine Expedia guest review
"Delightful stay in a charming inn!"
Enjoyable long weekend in a cozy and charming southern Inn! Location is amazing, just a few steeps from the Forsyth Park Fountain, which can actually be seen from the Inn's porch. We stayed in room # 4 and liked it very much, specially the little seat room that has a view to the garden; the only down side was the heating system right besides the bed, […] which we found a little too noisy at night. "Beautiful and convenient"
The Forsyth was awesome. The food was great, the service was terrific. It is across the street from the park, and also just under a mile from the market. The ONLY thing I wasn't crazy about was that sounds echo throughout the house, but it's also very old, and to be expected. Still, you should definitely go.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Victorian B&B Treat"
This charming B&B is located just across the street from picturesque Forsyth Park in historic Savannah neighborhood. Downtown Savannah is within walking distance as well. "A lovely Inn"
I would have given the Forsyth Park Inn a perfect 5, but we did experience a problem with the room we had chosen the first night. We had chosen room #10. It was downstairs and very musty smelling. There was no privacy in the bathroom and the floors were so creaky, that my husband and I hated to walk across the floor in the middle of the night to go […] to the bathroom for fear of waking each other up. It was also extremely inconvenient to get our luggage in and out of that particular room. We had very noisy people above us and we changed rooms the next morning. The staff was very understanding and accommodating. We moved to room #2 for the next night and it was terrific. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review

The Forsyth Inn exceed out expectations in every way. Delicious breakfast every morning plus wine and snacks in the afternoons and coffee and dessert in the evenings - some days we didn't even have to bother finding a good spot for dinner! The other guests at the B&B were also delightful, […] many are long time patrons of the Inn which is always a good sign and they had great tips for things to do in Savannah and the surrounding areas for newcomers like me and my mom. The Inn is very pleasant and accommodating. The staff is warm and friendly and the breakfast and evening appetizers and snacks were delicious and abundant. My room was spacious clean and comfortable. Right off the park on a corner lot sits the imposing mansion which is the Forsyth Park Inn. Wine and hors d'oeuvres are served 6-7pm in the parlor and guests assemble to chat.
