We were in Milwaukee for state bowling tournament and it was very convenient to the alley. The hotel was dated but very clean and comfortable. The staff was very nice and helpful. We used the exercise room and the pool and both were very nice.

Johnson Wax Administrative Building and Wingspread, a Prairie-style house that was home to the Johnson family for decades. Reservations for both sites are required, but the tours are complimentary. For the price the place is ok to stay a night. It's basically a no frills place, so don't expect a lot, but I would probably stay again. The breakfast is sub sub par. For example, the milk was in a plastic gallon container in the refrigerator and had about 1/4 inch in it. The carpet and shower were not clean. Also the walls are thin, so i could hear my neighbors' conversations. Someone came in at 2am, and i could hear them putting things away, kept me awake until they went to bed. I had a fan running which helped. Overall, i would call this hotel "functional and inexpensive", but not spiffy in the least.

Compared to the America's Best that I stayed at in Tinley Park this one was 100 times better. This room had a phone, clock radio, and a tv channel guide which I did not have in the room in Tinley Park. The room was a little small but very nice. The bed was comfy and plenty of pillows. Hotel staff at desk was outstanding and helpful. Fold out bed was dirty, we needed to change our own sheets (no housekeeping staff there when we checked in at 7). Toilet in room was dirty. Front desk came and cleaned it. Rooms were very nice for the price.

The reviews for this hotel are misleading. My husband and I were very happy at America's Best Racine location. Our room was spotless, the bed was very comfortable, we felt safe and secure... We stayed at a "nicer" hotel in Kenosha the next night (we were in a room block at a wedding) and I honestly felt the America's Best Value Inn was right on par […] if not better than the other place we stayed. The air conditioner in the room was the coldest I've ever felt. Awesome on a hot summer day. The drain in the tub didn't work too well, but that wasn't critical. Vent in the bathroom... nice. Very nice staff. Kind of a cheap bed, but after a wedding reception, who notices? Quite good overall.

The stay was good overall, mostly because I utilized the hotel with the purpose of sleeping only. The bathroom was clean, and so were the linens. That is very important to me. We rented the room to be close to Kenosha. We arrived around 10:00 p.m. and were promptly checked in. The room was clean but small. Everything worked fine. My only complaint is that the website stated it is 6.7 miles from Kenosha when it is really 12 miles. The hotel was fine though.

I had to fix the toilet and the refridge door was bent. I fixed that too. Other than that it was a nice room. It was well located, with several shopping cenyers and resturants nearby. We would stay there again.

Staff is nice and helpful, breakfast has no nutritional items to choose from, great location of town, close to shopping and restaurants. Coffee is always available, workout room is small but clean and convenient. Rooms are cozy but they have refrigerator. Would stay again.

I needed a shaving razor as I ran out the door one morning, and was provided with one at the front desk as well as ample directions as to where to get one. We stayed here Christmas night and had a wonderful time. The entire hotel including the rooms and bathroom were quite clean and well-maintained. We comfortably slept 4 adults in the two-queen room.
