Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites RIPLEY - Ripley

We only stayed one night, however it was very quiet and kid friendly. I was very pleased to see other families traveling with young children. We felt vey welcome and had a very comfortable stay.

The room was large. Had more amenities than we used. Bathroom was perfect. View behind hotel was interesting mountainside. Breakfast included things I was willing to eat. There were plenty of tables.

I stopped in to this hotel purely because I couldn't stand to drive any longer. I was pleasantly surprised! While it's a ways away from the main road, once you get there it's very nice. It was like you plopped a new hotel from a larger city right in the middle of nowhere...(which I appriciate greatly because usually smaller towns have old motels or […] such.) so please don't think it's going to be unlike any other Holiday Inn you might go to. What IS different is the service. It is truly that "small-town" hospitality that I seem to appriciate that much more at both 11:30 at night and early in the morning. The breakfast was well-stocked and the attendant was very nice. While I was at breakfast, another hotel employee was helping a guest check his family's car because it hadn't started. We were in the middle of a 12 hour drive & decided to stay in Ripley. We didn't have a reservation anywhere & looked at the other hotels. My wife didn't like how they looked, so we decided upon this one. Called Fivestar & they said that there was a room available. When we checked in, we were told that they were full, but could put us into a king suite. […] It was a smoking room, but didn't smell bad. The room had a separate Jacuzzi tub in the room & a shower that would accomodate 4 people. Great find! Read more

We stayed here on 4/5/12. There did not appear to be many rooms booked, but those booked were all clustered together. There is not much insulation from noise between rooms. We had a family in the room next to ours and through the adjoining doors we could hear talking very clearly. There is not much soundproofing. Excellent condition, only have two comments, consider leaving the pool open later, parents have to supervise and it provides an opportunity for late arrivals to let the kids wind down. Also, consider the price. A bit pricey.

This hotel is fabulous. Rooms are large and extremely clean. There are plenty of restaurants around the area. The pool and hot tub were wonderful--the warmest pool that I've ever been in. Staff was very attentive. Breakfast had fresh fruit, eggs and sausage as well as cereal and muffins. Great place to stay for the money.

This is a new hotel just off highway 77. We stay here often on trips to Charlotte, NC from NW Ohio. Everything is new, clean and well decorated. It is also pet friendly which we appreciate when we travel with our pug. There is a free breakfast in the morning which is very generous. The staff is very friendly!

Holiday Inn Express is now my favorite hotel! Everything, from the comfort of the room, to the warm pool and large hot tub, to the extravagant breakfast was awesome. We were stopping on our way back from Michigan to NC; this hotel will now be a permanent stop when we make the long trek up north.

Brand new hotel so very clean; pool was indoors and water temp was good; flat screens in the room; fantastic cinnamon rolls in the morning and the rest was good too (eggs, bacon, sausage gravy and biscuits, bagels, muffins); not many decent restaurants around though, pretty much all fast food

This hotel is right off of I-77. There are quite a few restaurants near this hotel. The hotel itself was beautiful. It is a new one and I stayed on the first floor and I didn't hear the people that were in the pool. Everything was so clean and the decor was beautiful. They even had soft towels.
