Rummen stora och rymliga, balkongen OK dock fanns bara 2 plaststolar till 4 personer! Sängarna något för hårda för vår smak. Gammal utrustning i köket, kylskåpet i dåligt skick då dörren var sned och luckan till frysfacket saknades, nedre "flaskhylla" trasig och tålde inga stora flaskor. Et helt greit hotell. Brukte ca 15 min å hå til stranden og 15 min å gå til bargaten. Fryseren i kjøleskapet var ødelagt, og kjøleskapet duret veldig mye. En del støv og dritter i kroker og kriker og under sengene. Rommet var forsåvidt greit, men ganske slitent interiør. Vanskene var omtrent umulig å skru helt av og det var dusj i badekar som er etter […] min smak veldig ekkelt. "Elendig hotell, styr unna!!"
Hotellet fortjener IKKE 4 stjerner, lukta skikkelig vondt i korridoren og rommet var så sliten og sengene er så dårlig at jeg og dama mi fikk vondt i ryggen å ligge der. Fjernkontrollen til tv'n på rommet virker bare på volum knappen, ellers måtte du gå helt bort til tv for å skifte kanal, ikke fikk vi skrudd av tv, måtte dra ut kontakten. Tidlig […] på morgenen så blir du vekket av musikk og en som skriker i mikrofon ved bassenget for å få med folk på morgen gymnastikk i bassenget der, mye støy hvis du har vindu mot bassenget. Vi klaget og fikk på samme dag ett nytt rom, med litt bedre senger men rommet var like sliten der også, dusj batteriet hang løst ut fra veggen så du ser rett inn i 2 hull i veggen, skal bli morro når vannet trekker seg inn bak veggen der og danner sopp og råteskader! "Mycket nöjd med hotellet"
Först vill jag säga att jag läste recensionerna innan jag reste och blev lite orolig. När vi väl var framme i hotellet såg vi inget av det dåliga som jag läst om. Vi fick ett rum på fjärde våningen och hade en underbar vy över hotellet, polen, havet och växtriket mellan hotellet och havet. Vi fick ett rum som uppfyllde våra krav och det enda dåliga […] jag kan säga var att dusch kranarna var lite slitna och gamla. När man går omkring i Albufeira inser man ganska snabbt att alla hus och hotell inte är moderna vilket vi tycker är en bra grej, bevarad kultur. Vårt rum var städat och rent, städning varje dag i kombination med byten av handdukar och påfyllning av förbruknings artiklar i badrum. Servicen är otroligt bra och alla är väldigt trevliga. Polen är fin och ren, bra helt enkelt. Maten kan vi inte uttala oss om för vi åt ute alla dagar. Självklart hade vi ac i rummet. Köpcentrum i närheten och läget för hotellet kunde inte blivit bättre. Efter att få vänta 95 minuter på hotellrummet efter utsatt tid, kom vi in i ett smutsigt rum med fotavtryck på väggarna, taket och golvet. Balkongdörr som inte gick att låsa. Ett kylskåp så smutsigt att vi inte ville ta i det. Sängar som sett sina bästa dagar för flera år sen. Ibland blev vi utan handdukar. Hela hotellet var kraftigt slitet, smutsigt, […] med tuggumi på golven. Buskar, gräs och rabatter halvdöda. Skräp i rabatterna och poolen. Fimpar överallt. "Not a four star hotel"

My wife and I stayed at this hotel last summer, first impressions were good, the reception area had recently been refurbished. Unfortunately the standard of the rest of the facilities didn’t live up to the expectations that it set. This hotel had been advertised as a 4 star and was priced accordingly, however it fell well short of the expectation set by Jet2’s grading system. The room was basic and although our board basis was “All inclusive”, we had a kitchen area; unfortunately basic facilities such as a kettle were missing. A sign on the wall informed us that towels would only be changed every three days, not what you would expect from a four star establishment. The restaurant fell far short of the standard expected from a 4 star establishment, food was found to be cold on several occasions and very disappointing. On one occasion a chef was spotted handling chicken and red meat with the same gloved hand. The rep was able to resolve the towel issue and within five minutes of her leaving a kettle arrived, but no tea bags, coffee or sugar, these had to be acquired from the pool side snack bar or restaurant, but what she could not resolve was the standard of food. The other issue is that of sunbeds, it was very evident on day one that the number of available sunbeds fell well short of the number of guests requiring them, so much so that they were all taken most mornings by 7ish, after that there was no way you would get one!! Having taken the food and sunbed issues up with Jet2 on our return, there comments are as follows • Microwaves are provided for guests to heat up cold food if required. • The hotel is under no obligation to provide sunbeds for its guests. Having referred this to ABTA, I now find that what I had assumed to be a free arbitration service requires a payment of £100+ to further my complaint. The Luna Miramar is a three star hotel masquerading as a four star. As a three start, it would be good value

I stayed at this hotel during the midterm break with my son and my friend and her daughter. The room we got was huge and sofa beds for the kids had normal mattresses, which seemed comfortable for sleep. We stayed on the all inclusive basis and we all loved it. It was great for the kids to be able to get things themselves. There was plenty of food and a good few choices for every meal, there were some local foods as well and we enjoyed trying things out. Fresh oranges were amazing for breakfast, I've never thought they could be so sweet. The pool was nice and kids could spend all day in it, even if it seemed a little cold for grown ups. The service was great, rooms were cleaned every day and towels changed frequently. You could get a complimentary bus to Fisherman's beach and go through town or stay at the beach. It was a very windy week so swimming in the sea wasn't possible, otherwise we would have used this option more. We stayed in room 213 and the sun would be at the balcony till about 4 (end of October), so not sure how it is in the summer. Rooms are air conditioned. Everyone at the front desk was very nice, especially Maria and we loved staying in this hotel. I hope they can get the free WiFi working better in the reception area.

We had room 312 from the 14th to the 21st. Love this place! Have read reviews of watching out for management, not true at all. Everyone was lovely, especially the lady on the front desk. Get that woman a raise because she's awesome. Food was good, especially breakfast. Unlimited bacon! Will definitely be coming back, thankyou all involved for making our holiday that much better

Hi going to be staying here next may have booked it and was wandering could anybody tell me is the top floor the best to stay in and pool view Will be staying in a 1 bedroom apartment some people say the 5th floor is the quietest and get the sun. Many Thanks

I found the room to be clean & tidy. Bed linen & towels changed frequently which was good. Reception were helpful & cheery, the only downside was the food, this was plentiful however few choices for veggies were limited & meat choices were not well presented. We stayed in half term week & the following week, in the second week the choice of food declined. We found a fantastic indian resturant

my husband and I needed a break following a bereavement . We decided we wanted a four night break all inclusive. After research I found the above hotel. I cannot praise this enough. The hotel and room was perfect. Very clean well equipped and extremely friendly. The reception staff were brilliant nothing too much trouble for them. The food was lovely and well presented . Good choice of fish meat pasta salads and fresh fruit daily. If you went hungry then that would be down to you. All spirits branded. Pool area very clean and tidy. Gardens well kept. The weather was nice not too hot for us. Couldn't fault this hotel. We had a balcony room near the pool. If you want total quiet then maybe this wouldn't suit your needs . We did go in the school holidays so maybe this was the reason. The area itself was nice .

We enjoyed our stay at this well run, clean hotel . Not much entertainment in the hotel in the evenings but not high season. The plus side of this was we always got a sunbed. The staff are EXCELLENT The hotel is ideally situated for both the old and the new town.
"Not 4 star - disappointed"
We stayed here as a family during the half term week in October , very disappointed. On arrival the lobby looked very nice and first impressions were great. We checked in at around 11am and reception told us our room would be available at 4pm , our booking details said 2pm but we were told this was wrong. Off we went to explore the hotel , as soon as we left the lobby things went down hill. The decor changed dramatically and the hotel was a maze. We found the pool bar and ordered a drink to which they wanted to charge us , we were all inclusive but the reception said we had to wait for lunch to get our wrist bands. The food was not great , horrible cuts of meat , chips reheated , bread rolls stale and lack of choice to be honest. This was meant to be 4*. A few people other people felt the same as us , we ended up eating out to get decent food. Room was good , beds made and towels changed everyday. We have stayed in better 3 star hotels so we were really disappointed after paying a premium for half term week to stay here with such awful food. Emailed hotel to complain but no reply back.

I was wondering what I had let myself in for after reading reviews. I didn't need to have. I stayed in a 1 bedroom apartment that was very spacious and clean. Small fully equip kitchen. Kettle, microwave, toaster and hob. Plenty of wardrobe space. Maid service everyday and fresh towels every other day. Hair dryer in bathroom. Ironing board We had a balcony over looking the pool. We stayed allinclusive. Food was great. Large selection. I do recommend the fish. Evening entertainment every night. Beach is Round 10 walk urge strip about 10-15 min walk. The staff were fabulous. So friendly and helpful. Edgar on reception was very helpful as were All the other members of staff. The decor of hotel is all beautiful and great colour scheme. I would definately stay here again. Great location. Shopping centre on the door step.
