Rummen stora och rymliga, balkongen OK dock fanns bara 2 plaststolar till 4 personer! Sängarna något för hårda för vår smak. Gammal utrustning i köket, kylskåpet i dåligt skick då dörren var sned och luckan till frysfacket saknades, nedre "flaskhylla" trasig och tålde inga stora flaskor. Et helt greit hotell. Brukte ca 15 min å hå til stranden og 15 min å gå til bargaten. Fryseren i kjøleskapet var ødelagt, og kjøleskapet duret veldig mye. En del støv og dritter i kroker og kriker og under sengene. Rommet var forsåvidt greit, men ganske slitent interiør. Vanskene var omtrent umulig å skru helt av og det var dusj i badekar som er etter […] min smak veldig ekkelt. Hotellet fortjener IKKE 4 stjerner, lukta skikkelig vondt i korridoren og rommet var så sliten og sengene er så dårlig at jeg og dama mi fikk vondt i ryggen å ligge der. Fjernkontrollen til tv'n på rommet virker bare på volum knappen, ellers måtte du gå helt bort til tv for å skifte kanal, ikke fikk vi skrudd av tv, måtte dra ut kontakten. Tidlig […] på morgenen så blir du vekket av musikk og en som skriker i mikrofon ved bassenget for å få med folk på morgen gymnastikk i bassenget der, mye støy hvis du har vindu mot bassenget. Vi klaget og fikk på samme dag ett nytt rom, med litt bedre senger men rommet var like sliten der også, dusj batteriet hang løst ut fra veggen så du ser rett inn i 2 hull i veggen, skal bli morro når vannet trekker seg inn bak veggen der og danner sopp og råteskader! "Mycket nöjd med hotellet"
Först vill jag säga att jag läste recensionerna innan jag reste och blev lite orolig. När vi väl var framme i hotellet såg vi inget av det dåliga som jag läst om. Vi fick ett rum på fjärde våningen och hade en underbar vy över hotellet, polen, havet och växtriket mellan hotellet och havet. Vi fick ett rum som uppfyllde våra krav och det enda dåliga […] jag kan säga var att dusch kranarna var lite slitna och gamla. När man går omkring i Albufeira inser man ganska snabbt att alla hus och hotell inte är moderna vilket vi tycker är en bra grej, bevarad kultur. Vårt rum var städat och rent, städning varje dag i kombination med byten av handdukar och påfyllning av förbruknings artiklar i badrum. Servicen är otroligt bra och alla är väldigt trevliga. Polen är fin och ren, bra helt enkelt. Maten kan vi inte uttala oss om för vi åt ute alla dagar. Självklart hade vi ac i rummet. Köpcentrum i närheten och läget för hotellet kunde inte blivit bättre. Efter att få vänta 95 minuter på hotellrummet efter utsatt tid, kom vi in i ett smutsigt rum med fotavtryck på väggarna, taket och golvet. Balkongdörr som inte gick att låsa. Ett kylskåp så smutsigt att vi inte ville ta i det. Sängar som sett sina bästa dagar för flera år sen. Ibland blev vi utan handdukar. Hela hotellet var kraftigt slitet, smutsigt, […] med tuggumi på golven. Buskar, gräs och rabatter halvdöda. Skräp i rabatterna och poolen. Fimpar överallt. Just left our room waiting to be picked up this hotel is fantastic it's clean the food is good rooms lovely staff amazing I never met one member off staff that was not helpfull they are all fantastic the reception staff are 100% helpfull and nice the location is ok a bit of a trek to the beach but they do run a free shuttle service entertainment staff are a bit reserved don't seen to want to mix with guests all in all amazing time was had

First time we have done all inclusive and we were very impressed,even after all the negative reviews.My Wife is a fussy eater and she always found plenty to choose from at meal times and she has never eaten so much when we go to Albufeira which is twice a year.We stayed for two weeks from 25th September to 8th October and the menu did not repeat hardly in that time. When we first arrived we were given a wrist band and info on the Hotel and as our room was not ready we were told to have some lunch and a couple of drinks and it would be ready by then.The guy on reception was very nice and cheerful as were all the staff at all times during our stay.The apartment was very clean and comfy and the beds are the best we have had in Albufeira and the pillows so soft,you just melted into them.We had a couple of issues with the toilet and air-conditioning during our stay but before you could say Jack rabbit someone from their maintenance team was on the case and both were fixed right away. We would have no hesitation in recommending Luna Miramar to anyone, as for me, apart from everything else the staff at this Hotel make it worth staying here as nothing is too much trouble for them and there is always a smile on their faces. Some people moaned about the food being terrible and I made a point of watching what they were putting on their plates,heaped plates and hardly anything left when they were finished,and this was at every meal I noticed.So get real folks you are not in the UK and you certainly don`t get all inclusive in this country,and if you did it would`nt be for the price you paid for your holiday including flights!!!

Not much wrong with the hotel, very clean, good staff who were mainly friendly and helpful. Extremely clean and spacious apartments with a goodsized kitchen area in the sitting room. The chamber maids were very good and attentive, We were B&B though we had one evening buffet meal which we thought was pretty good. The breakfast was very nice with a broad selection of food ( terrible toasting machine but as I'm yet to find a decent one in a hotel it's not affected the standing of the place in my eyes!) the swimming pool was busy despite the time of year so I wouldn't like to come in high season! All in all. I would d say it is a decent place that is of a good standard and is fairly well positioned for getting about. Old town is 10 mins walk and taxis are cheap too.

Just back from the Luna Miramar in Albufeira. Lovely hotel. Superb staff. Spacious 1 bedroom apartment with kitchenette. Very clean. Reception area modern and tastefully decorated. Bar area very chilled, relaxing and spacious. Décor had been well thought out. Lovely paintings on the walls and also arranged on painter's eisels around the lounge. (A very nice touch). Staff seemed very happy in their work, always smiling. Especially Vitor Florencio in the reception. Brilliant sense of humour! As this was October, there was no problem getting a sunbed although it was noted that despite signs saying please do not reserve sunbeds, several towels were put out quite early and the people didn't turn up till an hour or so later. (And these were English people, not as per the usual joke of it being the Germans that do this). Food in the restaurant was fine. No problem getting something to your liking. The hotel location was in a superb spot. 1hr transfer from airport. Huge supermarket on the doorstep. Bars and restaurants within a few metres. Taxi rank and 'noddy' train only very short walk away. Old town 10mins away. Taxi cost 4 euros if you're not good walking as it is a steep hill. Old town has loads of shops, bars & restaurants by the beach.Superb place to visit. This hotel is a brilliant and being all inclusive was a bonus, although prices didn't seem too expensive in bars outside the complex. If I was to make a constructive criticism, I would say that perhaps the hotel manager needs to look at trying to minimise the amount of flies on the cold salad and bread in the restaurant. These were not your normal housefly type, they were tiny little black flies that seem to make a beeline for the salad and bread, not for the hot food. It wasn't nice seeing so many on the food and did tend to put you off eating it. But that was the only thing that wasn't good about this hotel and if they can sort this out, they are onto an absolute winner as far as I'm concerned.

We stayed in room 414 very clean, towels changed everyday room cleaned regular, food spot on only complaint they could do with a new toaster in the restaurant at breakfast,pool cleaned regular,always got a sunbed,All staff friendly, paid €3.00 aday for safe in bedroom with a €15.00 deposit what you got back on leaving.close to old town which was great atmosphere definitely go back

My boyfriend and I stayed here for 10days at the start of September and stayed in the studio apartment. On arriving we realised the bedroom was very small compared to the kitchen and dining area. The studio was very basic but had all the essentials you needed for cooking etc, in saying this there is no way the hotel is 4* so don't be fooled by its rating!! We also had problems with our fridge and freezer, which had broken one day and defrosted all over the apartment floor. Thankfully, a repairman brought us a new fridge and cleaned up afterwards. We only paid for bed and breakfast; there was a variety of food for breakfast in the morning, but the same was put out every day so by the end of the holiday I had gotten sick of eating the same food! Also, other people staying at the hotel who were all inclusive were not happy with the food they got at lunch and dinner so thankfully we didn't pay for that. The WIFI at the hotel was also very bad so don't expect to get onto the internet any time you come here. The pool is a decent size but during peek season it definitely would not be big enough to fit all the people. In terms of location the hotel is 10-15min walk from the old town, with a bit of a hike on the way back to the hotel, but was fine for us and sits right beside a supermarket which came in handy! The staff are very helpful and booked our trips for us at the reception which was great. Overall the hotel is definitely not a 4* rating and unfortunately it was not that good that it would make us want to return here in the future.

Just back from a weeks stay at the luna miramar was very apprehensive after ready so many bad reviews! The hotel was in perfect location 10 minutes walk to the old town or new town. Thankfully sunbeds were not an issue as this time of year is quieter. The rooms are a bit dated and could do with being modernised but the were spotlessly clean the maids changed the towels everyday. Cant really fault this place you get what you pay for if your looking 4* luxury its not it but it definitly isnt as bad as people make out. Overall very enjoyable stay and would go back!!

We stayed here twice previously a few years ago. We were pleased with it overall then and noted this time (the name change from the Perola) but that it had been updated a lot. Admittedly we only use it as a base as I find the sun time limited at the pool and prefer to go to the beach and we eat out a lot so usually just stay on a self catering basis but the cleaners came in everyday and the staff are pleasant, rooms lovely and overall very pleased and will be staying again. You are within an easy walk from both old town and new town too with a few bars and restaurants by the hotel also.

Please do not be fooled by the lobby and reception area, this hotel does not even scratch the surface of a 4*hotel rating in the UK. Whilst the staff were pleasant and helpful, the rooms are old and worn and in desperate need of renovation. Whilst admittedly being reasonably clean, the tiling is shoddy with cement splattered in places it should not be. The Bath was plastic. The fan in our bathroom was covered in rust and the ceiling panels so loose that we could see the breeze blocks above. Our fridge was falling apart with paint peeling away on the outside and there was no kettle in the kitchen area? Odd. The security of the rooms is a bit of a joke - the lock of rear patio door is a mediocre single pole that holds the sliding door in place and there is no physical lock. The front door is thin and flimsy and could easily be pushed in when locked. The lock area was also cracked and showed signs of decay. We couldn't see the point in complaining as judging by the other decor away from reception as you walk around, it looks the same: tired, cracked and old, so I would imagine all the rooms are the same. The lay-out of the hotel is a bit of a maze and I can only conclude that its designer may have been a bit drunk at the time! We never bothered joining the battle for a sunbed, the pool area is rather small and so the best sunbeds are snapped up very early in the morning as people mark their territories with beach towels, defying the visible signs that forbid this. Another reason why we avoided the pool is that we did not wish to listen to the booming sound of the pool music that is too loud and imposed on all (and if you aren't a Bon Jovi, Robbie Williams or Leona Lewis fan you've had it I'm afraid)!! The hotel is very much catered to the all-inclusive guest. The food wasn't too bad, albeit a little bland and is pretty much what you would expect from an all inclusive buffet. If you are expecting 4*, expect to be disappointed. This hotel is a 2/3* at best.

just back from our 2nd holiday at the luna mirimar will defo go again went for an 11 day stay in june & a 5day stay in september loved it hotel staff helpful friendly as always food good although could some times be hotter . rooms cleaned everyday fresh towels i would defo recommend to my friends roll on when we come back thanks to all the staff who work there !!x
