Hotel is very near the Knoxville airport and provides a limo, even at 4:30 a.m. Room came with all amenities, refrigerator, MW, Iron, blow dryer, coffee pot. The only draw back is I have to have a CPAP machine and have to nearly always get behind the bed to plug it in; thereby loosing either the bed side lamp or the the alarm clock. But this Days Inn/ […] Budget Inn combo had an extension cord with 3 plugs on it, room enough for my CPAP machine too. Don't know how safe that was but there was no fire or smoke, so I guess it was ok. The steps were iced over and no one had put any rock salt on them making it dangerous for an old man on a walking cane. Two of the dryers in the laundry were not working and one washing machine was out of order too. The front desk was out of laundry detergent. Other than these few things, it was just peachy. Free hotel shuttle from airport to hotel, but run by Days Inn, come to find out that Budget Inn was the back of the Days Inn, owned by the same people. The hotel was convenient to Enterprise Car Rental. Room had microwave, refrigerator, and most all other amenities. The rate quoted to Hotels.com was also a good rate.

Walls are less than paper thin. Chair had an arm chewed off. The bed was so hard it made it difficult to sleep. The laundry down the hall made so much noise I decided to leave at 11 pm the night before check out the next morning. Actually heard a gun shot off in the back of the hotel parking lot. this hotel is old, and nasty, the pool was green, the rooms were fairly clean, everything is old. they are painting the rooms but beds are old and hard, no hot water for 2 days. alot of questionable people stayting there...

Having stayed there before, I can only say very dissatisfied! Before when I stayed during the winter I didn't realize that the carpets had such ground in dirt! When I walked across the floor from bed to teilet, my socks were black!! And when I wanted to take a dip in the poll, the water was GREEN!! Keeping price in consideration, it was ok. The tile in the shower was falling of the wall, the control of water temperature was almost impossible, and we had no bath soap, so we used our own.

The only real problem we noticed was the airplanes coming for a landing. My wife is a very light sleeper and couldn't get to sleep until after midnight when the planes stopped. Everything else was fine.

My only complaint was that the room I stayed in had slow drainage for the sink. Heard aircraft overhead, but that was expected and of my 4 day stay, only heard them on two nights.

The telephones did not work properly the full 6 days of my stay. I could not call out and when my family called the hotel, it didn't work either. It was very inconvenient and problematic for business calls.

I was unaware that there was free "adult activities" on the TV. I asked about this upon check out and was told that there was no charge for that and was included. I would caution this if children where there. And the breakfast selection was rather dismal. Other than those two thing, I enjoyed my stay there.

This hotel is no frills. A bit scary at night. The Budget Inn is located behind a Day's Inn. I got there at night and the receptionist was gone. The phone number goes to a guy's cell and he does not pick up. I went to the Day's inn and the receptionist was gone there too. He was running the airport shuttle. One kid running 2 hotels and a shuttle bus […] at the same time. Anyway, he got back and checked me in and the room was adequate. Bit of a smoky smell but clean enough. NO FRILLS. If you want to save a buck & just crash somewhere for the night, this place is adequate. The Hilton by the airport was so beautiful & had friendly, full staff but they charge over 3 times the price as the Budget Inn. You get what you pay for, I guess. Read more

People use this hotel to live, lots of people smoking so regardless of having a non-smoking room, it's smell like cigarettes because the building walls was infested with smoke. Also, there was small roaches in the room. I was change to a second bedroom and even though was cleaner, still thru the bathroom vent the smoke (cigarett smell) would pass to […] my room, making my room smells like a smoking room. Parking lot very dirty, staff had NO idea about service or maintenance people, breakfast items were from an unknown brand like the Jelly, wasn't smuckers, butter was not country crock, even the cream cheese wasn't your normal Kraft everything was a "generic" brand never seen before, I mean breakfast items are normally cheaper, why not spend a little more and go with brands that people know, planes felt like there were landing in your room, ac's stop working the very first night and well what can i say i learn my lesson maybe a little bit more money or more distance could it give me a better and safer hotel. The room was very clean, however they were in the process of painting the outside. Everyone was friendly and very nice. There are restaurants close by and mini-marts so everything was good. Family friendly and safe for singles as well.

The place was what I expected. It is in a small town off a major highway near Knoxville. I arrived 4:00AM and the auditor had my registration card ready for me to sign and he quickly handed me a key. The motel is old, however, my room was extremely clean with plenty of towels and toiletries. The hotel was in a state of repair I think, judging from the several construction vehicles that were there the weekend I was. Some tools were stolen from my friend's truck the first night. First off, the hotel was doing renovations...and apparently didn't book me and my husbands room when we had made our reservations. Second off, we had to go and stay in the Days Inn and Suites Hotel infront of the Budget Inn...which might i add was very nice...then we wasnt able to book our room right away do to the negalignce of them not letting anybody […] know that they was renovating...so i'm very unhappy because we had to wait until Hotel.com faxed over our information letting them know that in fact we did pay for our room in full...but the people in Days Inn & Suites were very nice and upgraded our room...but we were very disappointed...yet glad that we didn't have to stay in that low budget hotel.....
